Hmm Harry~N~Hermione4ever I'm wondering where you got that quote.

I clearly remember an interview in which journalists asked Danel Radcliffe and he said:
"I think those two (Ron/Rupert and Hermione/Emma) will get together.."

You have to remember at face value the hints goes R/Hr or R->Hr... but if you read the small things such as their mental connections, chemistry, their development and so much more, I'd say its H/Hr... either the quote is false or Mr. Radcliffe has seen the light? biggrin.gif Pardon my sarcasm...

Hermione is hanging on to Harry the whole end of Book 3 now there would be an interesting couple of scenes. ahhh yes i can see it now the cool night air, riding along on your faithful hippogrif, saveing a falsely accused criminal from suffering a fate worse than death. yeah it just radiates romantic, i wish my dates were like that. blush.gif

Here's the article, I SQUEE'D so loud when I saw it, then took it to work so I could read it over and over again.

I don't know... I'm happy about that quote but I don't know if its just the journalist making a mistake because the article seems similar to the interview before CoS but instead of Dan Radcliffe saying R/Hr this one is H/Hr.. look at this link Interview

The lines are similar...the game one... and I think the journalist interpreted Dan's actions as H/Hr instead of R/Hr as in the interview..

When was the interview from the article?
Which Magazine is it from? What issue?

All I know is that it was from an Australian magazine. I think I got it from GriffinsEye's Livejournal....I think....

It was awhile back.

Noo! I hope it isn't supposed to read R/Hr, I'll absolutely die. crying.gif

Even if Hermione does end up with Ron, it won't last for long--just look at their personalities. (Us H/Hr shippers can still hold onto that little thread of hope, LOL)
Max LoneWolf
Lets revive this forum. What scenes promote H/Hr?

Well there's the Hogsmeade scene which has been very much talked about. The one where Harry just asks Hermione she's not going to report the fact that he snuck out of Hogwarts and with a grin she's done.

I think that shows that Harry and Hermione do have their disagreements and they care what they others think (unlike what some R/Hr'ers say about Harry, they say Harry dosn't care about Hermione..) and that with a few well chosen words to convey his thoughts, Hermione agrees and respects his decision.

Same with the Firebolt, I remember Ron being the most furious whereas Harry understood Hermione's intention but was still disapointed he couldn't ride his Firebolt...

Hey all. Following form, I almost always seem to follow Max with a post of my own. Most peculiar.

It seems to me that the Firebolt incident is the only time when Harry and Hermione were actually friends that they were really arguing with each other. The Scabbers' Death doesn't really count, as Hermione would still talk to Harry, just not about Scabbers.

I don't know about the rest of you, but the relationship with the least arguements between them seems the more stable one to me.

One other thing, kind of small that others could have missed. When the Fat Lady is slashed by Sirius Black in PoA, Hermione gasps and grabs someone's arm. I'll give you two guesses, and as a hint it's not Ron.

That's right. Our man, Harry Potter! When she is surprised and/or frightened, who does she turn to for support? Why, Harry of course! Who else, right?

Sorry, the H/Hr juices, along with the sarcasm were really flowing there for a sec. My apologies.

Finding all those minscule details,

Many of the ones that I have to put down, they have already been said. But I'm going to write them anyway.

I espicially love the scene in the CoS movie when Harry breaks his arm and Hermione rushes to him and takes his hand or something like that. I almost squeeled. alien.gif
Carla
Hermione does seem to grab Harry's hand quite a lot of times, in fact. Hmmmm... makes a person wonder, don't you think? I think, over at SCUSA, it's called "Hermione's arm fetish" or something, LOL! laugh.gif

My fav thing that I can't wait to see in the movie and that I think is going to lead into some major H/H is at the end of book four when Herms kisses Harry. I can't wait till june 21 when the fifth book comes out. biggrin.gif yea sorcerer.gif

I think my favorite moment was actually when she saved him from the bludger. Always Hermione to the rescue!

You just gotta love those simple moments those two share. A simple "arm grab" or a friendly hug- it's just those small things that really add up.
Hpfreak06
I think that the scene that they should promote is the Hug of course and also the part when Hermoine says[QUOTE] Even with a proper wand it won't work. You might hit HARRY. Also the part in SS when Hermoine is encourging Harry to go on and they are complementing g each other.Then finally when Harry is stroking her arm in the COS movie.

Oh this might not sound too much of a H/H moment but I think in CoS when the cornish pixies went out in Lockhart's class that when Hermione had that pixie tugging on her hair Harry took it off with a book and Ron didn't do anything! laugh.gif biggrin.gif w00t.gif stuart.gif

Wow! there are so many really sweet moments! blushing.gif But when ever Ron and Hermione are together, there's just bickering! It's not nearly as cute as hermione and her arm grabin fetish! tongue.gif I dunno, harry and hermione would be pretty darn cute! I love all the moments they have. Especially the hand caressing in the COS! OH MY GOD! I HAD TO BITE MY FIST TO KEEP FROM SQUEELIN!!! hehehe i love harry!

[FONT=Arial][SIZE=1] w00t.gif I think the kiss at the end of the Goblet of Fire hints that Hermione fancies Harry. Harry might start to like her in a romantic way if he keeps thinking about the kiss throughout the summer. sorcerer.gif

I think that is so true. Whatch I really think Harry's gonna think about that kiss all summer and he's gonna get over Cho 'cus of the whole Cedric thing.

I don't know if anyone has pointed this one out, but here goes...

QUOTE
"People keep loking at me now," said Hermione grumpily as they came out of Honeydukes Sweetshop later, eating large cream filled chocolates. "They think I'm talking to myself."

"Don't move your lips so much then."

----GoF--Chapter nineteen, Pg 318-------

Okay, do you guys get it. How would Harry know that Hermione was moving her lips a lot, without looking at her lips. HEHE!! lol...just another scene that I like. heart.gif

They do!!!
Harry seems to always look at Herm in detail- her eye colour, types of smiles, etc.

Harry could be really observant. if we didn't know that he was really as thick as can be.

I just saw the picture right now! How cute...

I love the scene im CoA when they sorta of run up to each other in Digorn ally and Harry has the really big smile on his face.

i love the scene in PS/SS in the movie when they're all learning to fly. Harry's broom stick flies up to his hand right away and hermione has this really puzzled look. I just think it's really cute!
sinta
from the SS/PS movie, there's that "NEVER BETTER" (flash HUGE grin) from hermione. biggrin.gif

and i just noticed that in the books, harry can easily note hermione's moods and stuff or even the subtlest change in the way she looks at them. -is he paranoid or is it wishful thinking? whistling.gif wink.gif

For me it's always been the fact that Hermione cares ALOT for Harry... in fact, way too much a girl would care for a guy friend at her age.. even though he's her best friend.

There's also one part in GOF that I think hints at a H/Hr pairing, which no one has brought up yet. My husband thinks im crazy and um.. perverted for thinking it could even mean something, but here's it anyway:

GOF American edition, pg 481:

During charms lesson:

"I just want to know what Snape did with his first chance, if he's on his second one, " said Harry grimly, and his cushion, to his very great surprise, flew straight across the room and landed neatly on top of Hermione's.

I can't speak for anyone else but to me, this, is an extremely subtle yet big hint (perhaps something that JK threw in intentionally.. something which younger readers wouldn't pick up??). Opinions, anyone? *prays she isn't the only crazy one in here* blushing.gif
Turambar
I agree Mariona. I've always thought there was rather heavy symbolism to that one tongue.gif
Phoebe Mist
Errrr....... I don't get the cushion thing. How does that symbolise H/H? huh.gif
LilFlyergirl
Whoa... lol... shield your eyes, younger posters!!! Anywhooo, yeah, that could be a big hint... good eye, Mariona thumbup.gif
Just Like Hermione
Oooh... I have two! smile.gif They're probably some of my favorite moments in CoS; of course, not including the hug and hand stroking. Both have to do with the Polyjuice Potion. I thought it was rather sweet of Harry not to say anything or smile or joke when he and Ron learn of Hermione's misfortune and her little feline transformation. Unlike Ron, he felt no need to comment on her tail. Then, when the two boys are waking up the stairs to the common room while she is still in the hospital wing. Ron asks Harry about Hermione, which made it seem as if Harry was the one visiting her regularly... smile.gif

Hehe, that's just my two Knuts. Pay me little mind... I've been sick; I'm doped up on cold medicine.

I'm sorry for my ignorance, but can anyone tell me about what flowers are you talking about, in the second movie? I'm mean, I know that's when Hermione is in the infirmaty, but I don't remember seen Harry "giving" her flowers. You're making me start to think that the portuguese movie it's a little different from the english in some parts. Because I really don't remember seen any flowers and I saw all the movie with full attention.
Can someone help me?
Thanks.
Lots of kisses,

The flowers are during the second visit to the hospital. (I think it's the second) Right before Harry begins stroking Hermione's hand (swoon wub.gif ) he takes the dead flowers from the vase and replaces them with new ones. He's so sweet like that!!
PhoenixWriter
They means flowers in the hospitalwing. When Harry and Ron visit her as she is petrefired. Harry change the old flowers and put fresh flowers in to the vase. I hope this does wink.gif

I know this can be a little out of the topic, but...
The kiss in the 4 book, can have many meanings. Don't forget that JKR writes about the things that we're not expecting.
- Hermione could have kissed Harry in a way to comfort him. However, I believe that a hug could have done the job if what Hermione was trying to do was comforting Harry.
- The kiss could have being a way of her to say to him to be brave and to for not drown in guilty because of Ceddric and Voldemort; but if that's was the case, she could have said something more that "Bye Harry."
- The kiss could have being something of friendship: a way that Hermione thought to say that she cared for him has a friend.
- And the kiss could have a more romantic meaning: Hermione could have being trying to send him a little of her love for him (not as friend or as a sister, but as a lover). And I believe that's why JKR wrote: "and she did something she never did: she kissed him on the cheek."
We can also think about the 1 book, when she hugs him when he's about to go after Snape (that part when he sees that's Quirrel that's behind everything, remember?). When she says: "Me? Books and cleverness? There more important things: friendship and bravery and...". Excuse me but, what's that "and" doing there? She had stoped herslef there and hug him. The word she was trying to omit could have being many but I believe that "love" was the one. I mean: the first time I read the 1 book, I almost jump of happiness because I thought she would say "love" (don't start to say that no one can fall in love when they're 11, because they can and I can prove it if you want!).
And, in the 2 book, when Hermione is no longer petrifie, she goes to Harry screaming "you did it! you did it!" Why didn't she talk about Ron, to? I mean, Harry had Ron's presence every time until he goes to the Chamber. Shouldn't she said that to both of them? And I think that's why she hugs Harry in the
2 movie, and just shakes Ron's hand.
Every little thing that happens between Harry and Hermione can have many meanings; just like the Ron and Hermione's parts (like when they're in the common room yealling at each other, after the Ball in the 4 book).
However, I believe that Hermione is going to start going out with Ron (in the 5 book) because she thinks that Harry is not thinking in falling in love because of Voldemort and because he doens't want anyone in more danger that they already are. Oh, and that thing that Ginny's is going to have an important role in the 5 book? I believe that she's the one that is going to put Harry and Hermione together. Why? Because she's Ron's sister and, I believe that she and Hermione are going to start to be much closer friends than before. And Hermione could start to say to her (Ginny) that she's with Ron because she believe's that Harry would never look at her in that way, because he doens't want to risk anyone's life.

Did I make any sense for you?
I hope so.
Lot's of kisses,
Lisa Oceans Potter

P.S- Happy Holidays!

As in MANY posts I have posted I have told you about the thing how J.K.R likes to throw you off track as so...that's reason number one.

2.)In PS I know the talk they had would have been enough but they hugged.
3.)In CoS{movie}yet again maybe just being happy and saying I'm glad you're back would be fine but yet again....they hugged.
4) In PoA That time when Harry said something like...'You won't tell on me will you' and he grinned and Hermione couldn't say no to HIM grinning and she got all....jumpy.
5)In GoF a hug would've been fine at the end but...she just had to kiss him, did she kiss Ron? Don't think so and all kind of people say that she did after Harry left. Well if Ron was there he wouldn't of just...stood there he would've did something like make a noise laugh walk over and push Hermione away. So therefore he wasn't there.
6)In CoS they were WAY too happy to see eachother.
7) Who thought of Hermione when the troll came? {Harry}
8)Who was caressing Hermione's hand in CoS?{movie} {Harry}
9)Who did Hermione spend MORE time with when Harry and Ron were fighting? {Harry}
10) Who did Hermione Kiss? *Gof* {Harry}
11) Who did Hermione talk about non stop to Krum making him think something was going on between them{Harry}
12)Who did Hermione hug? {Harry} and afterwards they were holding hands. Every R/H Shippers use that as a clue to Hermione/Ron they say its..."tension" and you're not supossed to hug someone you like. Well...I saw nothing like that they weren't hugging because you don't hug someone you like! I saw nothing in their eyes. She was more comfortable hugging Harry 'cause they are closer and He was the first friend to sexcept her and that was one of the first things she saw in him. Ron started off by being mean and a git {I personally DON'T like him}.
13)They look better together
14) My guess is Hermione finally saw how much she like Harry seeing him lying there half dead.
15)There's already two people who see something between them. Rita Skeeter {yay!} and Even Krum saw something. {see number 11}
16)The fact that Harry was totally disracted in CoS due to Hermione being pertified. It was the fact of her being able to servive that gave him the strength to kill the basiliks. {least I think so}
17)The whole part of PoA when Harry and Hermione are saving buckbeak.
18)The mere way Harry and Hermione look at eachother.
19)Harry and Hermione's connection
20)When Hermione first came in the Compartment in PS she fixed his glasses. In CoS she fixed his glasses and during Harry's quidditch game Hermione came out of no where and put a waterproof spell on his glasses. {she's ALWAYS doing stuff to his glasses...I think it's a strange...obsession or something!

They were just made for eachother...
....You have to read between the lines J.K.R isn't one of those people to make things that jump out at you come true.

Did I make sense?
Starlight623
Well, of course I agree with all of the moments mentioned here and I have two little ones to add.

In CoS, as the Gryffindors are visiting Harry in the hospital after the Quidditch match, Hermione is standing so close to him with a look that says, "If anyone else wants to hurt him, they'll have to get through me!"
Also in CoS, the hug at the end (sure it's been mentioned before) but did anyone else notice how both had their arms open well before the hug started? As if they had been waiting for that moment forever!

Maybe I'm stretching, but I am a hopeless romantic!!

Ahh, romance! wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

I was reading Cos the other day and right on the last page Harry and Hermione walked together back thought platform 9 3/4 just thought I point that out, cute moment if they'd left in the movie

Oy! Angelina
Okay, I sincerely doubt I'm going to come up with anything about 30 people haven't mentioned already but still, you asked why I support a Harry/Hermione ship and I'll give them.

Books user posted image
Most of my majors comes from GoF mind you and a lot of it just suggests that Hermione likes Harry since Harry is still all about Cho in the 4th book (cross fingers on that changing tongue.gif)

Long walks around the lake, attending classes together, all that spare time without Ron...

She didn't seem to mind all that much when everyone was teasing her about dating Harry after Skeeter's article rolleyes.gif

Hermione was praising Harry up and down after the 2nd task even though KRUM SAVED HER.

The fact she won't stop talking about Harry to Krum (it must have been a lot for Krum to threatened)

The kiss at the end.

Movies sorcerer.gif

Most of my cannon evidence for the possibility of a ship comes from CoS. The second time I saw the movie (because I was completely dumbstruck with awe the first time) I noticed that when Harry and Hermione ran into one another at Diagon Alley she was totally checking him out after she finished fixing his glasses. She looks him up and down like he was a hunk of honeydukes chocolate and she wanted a bite thumbup.gif

And then there's just the hand holding and flower bringage when she's petrified and the big ol running towards one another with open arms hug in front of the whole school thing. blush.gif Not to mention the "well we had loads of help from you" comment just oozed affection. blushing.gif

Okay, I'm done because I know I'm going to be very bummed if Harry and Hermione don't hook up in the books (but I'd like to think that JKR wouldn't let Chris Columbus take such liberties in laying the groundwork in the films for it later on if she didn't intend for it to happen eventually).

Well, I'm off an running,

I love every moment they spend together! It's impossible don't like it! (that's why we are all here isn't it? tongue.gif )

right now I'm reading GoF for the...let me see...sorry...can't remember! I've lost myself in how many times I've read the books biggrin.gif and I'm at that part when harry put his pillow RIGHT on hermione's! I think it's something behind that...JKR is very triky. and if you noticed, harry was a bit surprise himself for doing that! he wasn't expecting that...i can see that pic...lol whistling.gif
