Hmm, absolutley OoTP. My favourite personally was the part where Hermione runs into Hagrid, but Harry catches her just before she hits the forest floor. That was so cute! And it's weird, because when I would pick out ships for different TV shows, I'd always imagine the guy catching the girl in his arms before she hit the ground!

great Poll. but I always thought...that all of H/Hr moment..is in all of book...and when Ron is not in scene
but I could choose PoA and OoTP: Poa is beginning of how hermione/Harry get to know each other..by doing all of those "Time turner" and ride of Buckbeck...and OoTP is when they really starting to their "true feeling" when Hermione said Harry "of course not, you are great Kisser"(I hope that is right quote) and Harry said to Hermione"s "I don't think, you are uply"

i think that poa and ootp are great h/h books! ootp is a great example b/c of the times harry and hermione get to spend 2gether. what is really sweet, i think, is how hermione's voice kept popping in is head whenever he was sad/confused/or mad it always made him happy to remember what she said.
in poa the best moments were when you could see their relationship grow as they kept spending more time 2gether, awww!! i am such a sucker for sweet stuff.
love lots,

hey, i didn't vote because i kept seeing H/Hr in all of the books for some reason, don't really know why.
You have to admit it was a bit weird that Harry went after Hermione when the troll was in the dungeon in their first year, he had to force Ron to come with him!
In the Second book, he was really upset about Hermione being perfifed and he refused to leave the school because she was in danger! (How sweet) In the book, McGongall just told Harry that he was to go to the hospital wing with no thought of Ron, it wasn't till she saw Ron, she said that maybe he needs to come too.
In third book, Harry was really concerned about Hermione with all her work load, he always sided with her, even over the firebolt, in the film, Harry and Hermione had the Time turner a secret, they kept it from Ron.
In the fourth book, Hermione was the only one who believed in Harry and was really annoyed at Ron for believing that Harry wanted the attention.
In the fifth book, hermione was really upset that harry was angry with her at the beginning, she said that Harry wasn't a bad kisser (How would she know?) she always willing to help Harry out and went along with harry to the DoM even though she believed it was a trap!
In teh next book, JKR said that harry will tell the person who is really special to him about what Dumbledore had told him and we all know who that is going to be?!
Hermione is the only one who can keep Harry going, we all saw how he froze at the sight of hermione lying on the floor yet when it was Ron, he just kept going, he can't live without Hermione, vice versa!

Hmm. . . which book had the MOST H/Hr?

Well, I would have to agree with almost 90% of those who voted, OoTP.

Unlike the first four(which from the little things Hermione did concerning Harry we got a hint of Hr-->H), OoTP had various hints of Hr-->H and the beginnings of H<-->Hr. I mean, Harry not wanting to disappoint Hermione, that's gotta mean
something.

Can't wait until Book 6.

I also have to go with OotP. There were many more moments, both obvious and ones that you had to dig a little more for, than in any other book.
In all fairness, this was the longest book to date, and therefore had more opportunity to do anything than those before it, but when comparing it to other books, it had the most overall. Plus you just can't beat that lovely DoM scene

i voted for book 3!
only becuz, of the fight they had, and the time turner scenes. i felt that is the most intense h/hr scenes, that were ever written.
ok, well maybe, the almost death scene of hermione in book 5 was important too.

I voted for POA too, even though for me, POA and OOTP came in pretty close. I chose POA mainly because I could sense more of a foundation growing through the H/Hr scenes.

I agree with danlover- the H/Hr scenes were, for me, more engaging than the ones found in OOTP. Though OOTP may have had the most moments numerically, I always felt that POA had the most in terms of quality.

It came down to the last three books for me and I had to go with OotP, even though PoA and GoF had their fair share of H/Hr moments. My brother, an R/Hr shipper, even said, "This book seemed to be just about Harry and Hermione." There were other characters, but in the trio, especially, you could see how it basically was all about Harry and Hermione together (Grawp, Fight and Flight, DoM)...Ron was not as much a part of it as in the previous books (you especially could notice this in the little scenes, too. In the previous books, Ron dominated the little scenes and shared the big scenes with Hermione. In this book, Hermione dominated both---and the little scene thing shows that she's gradually becoming more and more important and closer to Harry.)

im folowin the crowd here...OotP it is...i mean there was just so much and now that the trio is more mature than before, those feelings and moments sem to carry a bit more weight imo. There were so many moments and reactions...it really was something and i cant wait to see what happens err read what happens in book 6...

*tallies one more onto Ootp* The H/Hr gospel...

I just finished reading it a zillionth time and I've come to the conclusion that the
entire book is one big H/Hr moment!

Well...maybe not quite...but it's still chok full of yummy pumpkinny goodness!

If I had to go through and get out every H/Hr quote and moment from the book it'd take me a lifetime...

Strange... still no vote for CoS...
Ah well, I really think OotP sealed the deal for us ^.^ The Prefect scene, the MoM scene, the Grawp scene, the Valentine's Day scene... really, they'll be announcing their engagement any day now

i think its gof because thats where ron started to like hermoine and she had already moved on. thats why she kissed harry because of ron's shallowness towards her and harry understands her. but then there's ootp where she was so happy that harry got the badge and it wasn't him and she did everything possible to spend more time with him.remember when they had to go in umbridge's office and she elected to go with him that in my mine sounds that she like me because remember somewhere in PoA she elected to go with ron and r/hr shippers said that hermoine liked him. take that r/hr shippers muhahahahahah.

OotP all the way! I thought it had incredible amounts of H/Hr moments in it.
hmm... by the way... despite my username (I'm a Newbie

) I am a pumpkineer. H/D is just a guilt ship of mine... those things are so annoying *rolls eyes*
anyway. definitly OotP.

The Viking voted for GoF. Simply because that is were Hermiones loyalty to Harry is fully shown, it is the book where she stands firm when everybody else fails, it is the book where she dates the famous Victor Krum but is focused on Harry nevertheless.
It is the book where Harry sees her as a girl, admires her, trust her more than ever before.
Before GoF i did not care who endeded up with who, after GoF I was hoping for and beliving in H/HR, but fearing R/Hr.
After OotP I no longer fear R/Hr. OotP goes very far in confirming my belif in H/Hr, but it was in GoF it started. (On rereading I belive it starts at the end of PoA, but that is another story)

Definitely PoA... it was the most revealing (lets just say I can't find a better word) of the books... it opened a new door into the future books... finding out about Sirius... Pettigrew... Trelawney's Prophecy

It has to be OotP, just because of the maturing relationships on ALL levels, followed closely by PoA, thanks to the flight on Buckbeak. I thank my stars everyday for the Pumpkin Pie shipper that looked up the meaning (or just knew it) of a hippogrif!

OotP, without a question. I absolutely loved reading all those moments in which Harry and Hermione had to go off alone! They really have been getting closer, and JKR's finally made it more obvious by sliding Ron off to the side a bit.
Personally, I can't wait until Book 6!
