What dreams about Harry's world have you had? I'm talking about the ones where you're asleep. What dreams have you had?

I've had a few. I can only remember one at the moment. It was book 7, and Harry got a note from Voldie saying that he's going to kidnap:
1. Someone you love
2. Someone who loves you
3. Someone you can't live without.

So Harry worked out the 3 people who matched these - 1. Cho (why was she in book 7 and Harry still liked her? No idea. That's my subconscious for you). 2. Was Ginny. 3. Was Ron.

So here's Harry following them around making sure they won't get kidnapped. Now, Hermione was a little hurt that she didn't make the list in any catergory. And Harry's too busy to spend time with her. He's got to protect these people!

Then Hermione went missing. Harry found Voldie and Voldie said "I kidnapped Hermione you fool - it was Hermione for all three on that note - not three different people!"

And then I woke up. (AAAARGH!)

But I'm interested to know what dreams you guys have had. Anything weird? Wonderful?

I had one in which Hermione had been tricked by Draco and now she would be atttracted to him as a magnet. Harry just doesn'tknow what to do,a s the only chance to break the curse is if Hermione shags with Draco.

So he follows her in one of her encounters with Draco, by night, and Draco makes a big mistake.

He slaps Hermione after that she refused to have sex with him, and Harry is so enraged he kills him.

Suddenly, Hermione passes out, only to wake up few days later in Hospital Wing, with Harry holding her hand.

Then I woke up.



I had another, in which I saw the scene through Voldemort eyes.

He was happy, as he was sure to kill Harry. But, Harry arrived with Hermione.

Seeing this, Voldmeort takes his wand, and yells: "Nooooo!! The two of you are my doom, together!"

And then he commits suicide.

In Excelsis Deo: That would make a killer fanfic... ... maybe your should make it a challenge... or write it yourself! Send me an owl if you decide to do something with it... .... it'd be an awesome read.

I have a lot of Harry Potter dreams! Day dreams, night dreams, whatever. Most of them are shippy dreams (I can't help it!). They're the best. Usually my mind will replay certain events in the book (for example Hermione and Harry going with Umbridge into the forest) but I twist the storyline a little. Well maybe a lot. Like once I had one where Hermione and Harry go with Umbridge into the forest but instead of Ron and the others following them there, they're left alone and have to figure out a way to get their wands and get to Sirius. Then they meet up with the extremely angry Centaurs and then.....it ends. I dunno what happens. I want to though!

I also dream about the Department of Mysteries scenes a lot! Those scenes are just so emotional and are probably (IMO) going to be very important in the next book or the seventh.

I had A dream once when I had it I thought i was going crazy or something it was about J.K. Rowling and I dreamt that I kept asking her if hermione was jealous because of the whole Harry/Cho thing when they had their first kiss. In my dream she finally gave in and said yeah. It was weird then i dreamt I was looking for chocolote frogs in a candy store.

Well the best HP dream I had was when Harry and Hermione kiss after Voldemort's defeat and Harry's crying. I guess that made my belief in H/Hr stronger.

I think I'll try the thinking of HP while I go to sleep thing tonight. While I don't have an HP soundtrack (sigh....) maybe my mind will be enough... ( right...)

By the way, I'm sorry for the offtopicness, but Hermione's Phoenix, I love the quote you have in your signature! Where is it from?

Hermione’s Phoenix reminded me of a dream I had months ago.

Most of us have a theory that "love will win and defeat Voldie” etc.

Well, I had a dream that it was book 7 - Harry was hiding in some building and was being hunted by Voldie. Hermione appeared, muttered something and drew a circle around them with her wand. Voldie showed up, Hermione quickly kissed Harry, and a barrier formed around them – a shield that repel spells and curses. So ‘love’ saved them. That’s all I remember.

I had a dream that after Ron had that argument at the Yule Ball with Hermione, she turned at Harry and said "Do you want to dance, Harry." And when she lead him to the dance floor the song changed to a slow song and I don't remember the dialogue really just that they were talking about Ron being jealous and Harry said something like "Well, when you look the way you look night, I can’t really blame him." And they pull apart a bit and looked at each other but then Krum came a said “I haff the drinks, Herm-own-ninny.” And then I woke up.

If they put something like that in the movie I'd love WB forever.

The third movie's on my mind at the moment (apart from uni exams - I'm going to see the movie straight after my maths exam!)

Last night I dreamt that I was watching the movie. Aunt Marge showed up in a jumper and jeans. I was thinking "okay - bad costuming here!".

All I remember next was I was in the movie with my brother, Harry turned into a hand-puppet, and we were singing to it "It's the hard knock life for us, It's the hard knock life for us, Stead of treated...we get tricked, Stead of kisses...we get kicked, It's the hard knock life!!"

We were singing to him because he's an abused child.

Hermione was in it somewhere. She just wasn't very memorable - I can't remember what she did! (She may have joined in on the singing!)

It was weird. As usual.

Cool, fun thread!

I had a good H/Hr dream last night. You know the bit in the new PoA movie when Harry falls from the sky? I basically dreamt that scene, except it was Hermione who was falling. She was wearing the pink jumper and jeans, and she kept falling for what felt like forever. Until Harry (looking cool in his Quidditch ensemble and goggles) zoomed in on the Firebolt and caught her in mid-air. Then they flew off together, through the rain and back down to saftey - Harry stearing the Firebolt and Hermione riding upfront in side-saddle, her arms wrapped tightly around Harry's shoulders. How cool is that?! Reminded me of a really good fan art I saw. I also remember thinking (in the dream) "oh my god, I can't believe they put this in the movie! The R/Hr shippers will blow up!" Then of course, the dream went haywire and I ended up in a bathtub in a public area and couldn't get out because someone had stolen my clothes. Go figure.

I went to bed once thinking up a plot... It was just pure fluff... Harry was in bed poorly and Hermione brought him some soup and some hot chocolate. She sat on his bed, feeling his forehead and stuff, and making him better, and they were just talking and bonding, and they were hugging and holding hands and stuff, then Harry said something like: "You're always there for me, Hermione, I should have realised that a long time ago." and she just smiled or something, then they got closer and leaned in...

and then I woke up.

Mean, huh?

AHAHAH!!! These drams made my day!In Excelsis Deo, you have the best dreams! I'm so jealous! and Poppet, yours was really funny at the end!

I never have any good drams. The only H/Hr dream I ever had was where I was Hermione and I was in the library or the Great Hall or something with Harry and Ron, and I forget what we were talking about, but I remember Ron calling "me" Mrs. Harry Potter jokingly for no apparent reason, and we were all surprised and stuff, and that's all I remember.

I had one good H/Hr daydream once that hasn't really been finished, and it's a bit greusome, and if you want to make a fanfic out of it, feel free. It goes along the lines of this:

Ginny comes to Hermione's room in the morning to get help with homework or something, to find Parvati and Lavender dead and Hermione missing. She kind of goes into shock and girls start asking her what's wrong and they see and everyone starts screaming anf freaking out. Now Harry, who is in the common room, hears girls panicing and "they're dead!"s and "she's gone!"s and gets scared, thinking hermione might be in trouble, so he runs up there, sliding his way up the slide staircase not really caring (have you ever tied to climb a slide? well, yeah) and then he runs in to see Parvati and Lavender dead, but he doesn't quite look at Hermione's bed yet, afraid at what he might see, and he slowly turns around, sees that she isn't there, and immediately grabs his firebolt, pj's still on, and sets off to try and find her. I haven't really thought of a beginning or an end. It's just somewhere in the middle. I might want to make a fanfiction, but I can't think of anything else.

Now that I think about, all your dreams would make great stories, better than the ones who just whip up in your head. Who knows, maybe JKR does the same too!

I had one dream about HP. It was terrible and I want to forget it. It may not be such a big deal but..........HERMIONE KISSED RON!

One night, hopefully tonight I'll dream something with H/Hr fluff!

YAY! I got a good dream about H/Hr!

It was before Harry went to play a Quidditch match (He was wearing his jersey and stuff). Hermi cornered him and said something like 'I've always wanted to give this to you before everything you've faced' or something.....

And yeah, she kissed him and he dropped his broomstick and yeah they had a long kiss.
Then here comes Ron cursing at them...
The rest is just a blur......

I hope something like tha happens, the cursing Ron thing would be funny too

hello again, I have just woken up and I've had quite the interesting night. I dont know if this follows all the rules or what not, but I wanted to get it written down somewhere just as proof.

Have you ever had a dream and then the following day you actually lived what you dreamed. Usually nothing big just a small detail like if your having a conversation with your friends and they say something that sparks you to think, "I've done this before." Quite the strange feeling, some people call it Deja Vu, but sometimes I think it could be a little more. I'm not saying I can see the future, but sometimes I like to write the things down and see if they happen so here goes.

I had a dream last night about the story of Harry Potter. I didnt dream that I was actually "in" the world of Harry potter. I was actually at the theatre preparing to watch the 6th movie. It started out and there were some technical difiiculties, but the movvie then started. My dream then jumped to a later scene where Harry and Hermione, possibly ron because it was a feast event so the whole school was there. Anyways, little boxes were handed out to all of the 6th years and they opened them up. Inside were silver rings and the following discussion made it sound like they were a type of "class ring" that you get at your school. Back to the point. Harry and Hermione (Emma Watson) began talking and she asked Harry(Daniel Radcliff) who he would be giving his ring to.

This made me believe that it was a custom for the 6th years to get a ring and then possibly give it to a special girl or boy to show a relationship. Harry then responded with an I dont know. This whole time during the conversation Hermione had a very anxious excited look on her face, almost like she was hoping Harry would give it to her. Harry had an expression of almost an epiphany. He saw the expression on Hermione's face and opened his ring box....

At this point I awoke from my dream. Now I know you are all probably thinking this is a bunch of rubbish and you could be correct, but would'nt it be weird if this actually did happen in book 6. Feel free to discuss my dream, any dreams you've had, and pretty much any thing else of the sort.

I think what your dream meant was that in book 6 harry will start feeling things for hermione! But you just happened to dream about in your own special way! thats all! cute dream though!

Most of my own dreams are premonitions so I know what you mean. I have the feeling of Deja Vu every other day. Hell, in 4th grade, I had a dream that I was talking to a friend I didn't even know until 10th grade. Then during I lunch years later, I had the exact same conversation with the exact same guy.
Seeing as I have a lot of experience in that matter, I'd say the chances are good. Especially if it came out of nowhere. I sincerely hope something close to that scene you descirbed happens, or, at the very least, its implied meaning.

If nothing else, it sounds like an excellent idea for the beginning of a fanfic...

While I would like to think your dream is foreshadowing, part of me believes you're thinking a little too much about a possible H/HR relationship. They say our dreams show our deep-most desires and fears, but that doesn't mean people don't have premonitions now and then.

I also had a recent dream about Harry Potter where Harry made a heroic leap off his firebolt to catch the snitch during quiditch and tumbled onto the ground. A few Gryfindors and Hermione ran onto the field, and when she reached him she was crying while she said something like "You know I get so worried when you do stuff like that... I care about you so much..." (and she was really close to his face!) While Harry had sort of a bemused look on his face because he wasn't hurt and he didn't fall too far.

Right now I want to believe that dream was a premonition.

Wow that sounds like a really cute dream it would be so cool if that really did happen! I've had a few dreams about Harry Potter, some about H/Hr and some about me actually being in the Harry Potter world.

I once had a dream come true and it was so freaky, as it has never happened before. It was that my cousin, me and some of my family were all sitting around the table talking and the next minute my cousin goes: "I'm pregnant." The next morning my cousin rings up and says she's pregnant! So dreams really can come true

So it would be really GREAT if that dream or any other dreams people have had of H/Hr came true!

I had another dream last night where I had gotten the HBP book early (it was reddish-orange, so let's see if that's the real color of it). Anyways, I was skimming through the chapters and in the beginning Ginny and Harry went on a date of some sort (no thanks to Ron) but Harry wasn't enjoying himself, then later I came across a chapter titled "A Kiss" and it involved Hermione! I couldn't read the rest because I woke up...

And it sucked too because when I woke up I thought I really had the book (the dream felt so real!). Now the wait for the HBP seems even longer!

I had a strange dream once... in 6th year... Harry and Ron went to Hermione's house in the summer. She had three brothers. 11-year-old twins (boy and girl) and a baby sister. Mr. and Mrs. Granger were in Diagon Alley with the twins (who were wizards). So Hermione asked Harry and Ron if they can babysit the baby sister. They accepted. It was REALLY funny seeing Harry and Ron changing diapers. The baby pee over Harry and threw up over Ron. Suddenly, the baby transformed into a fat floating purple cat (like a furry purple aunt Marge). They did magic to save the baby. There was a hearing and stuff but they were cleared of all the charges (even Harry!). Then, Harry was telling Hermione she loved her (I was in the twin sister' body, who were spying them and taking photos). They kissed ... And then... I woke up... (I found myself hugging a teddy bear)... IT WAS SOOO SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, my first HP dream I ever had let me know that I really was a H/Hr shipper. It was a crazy dream too. Voldemort had captured Harry and Hermione, tied them to an anchor-like platform, and started lowering them into lava. They struggle for a moment and in a very OOC manner they just give up. I don't remember what exactly happened next but all of a sudden they were snogging. Yeah, I know, I'm weird.

I've only had two.
In one, I got to go to Hogwarts. Except, it was in California. My family got very jealous.
The second one was really weird. I don't remember much of it, except Harry and Hermione ran off together, and Ron ran after them at the train station. Ron was really mad.

I had another HP dream last night. This time it wasn't focused on me and Daniel Radcliffe, but an actual one with Harry, Ron and Hermione.

It involved the three of them and some soap stars. Everyone was trying to hide from evil in a weird city. Hagrid was helping them hide, and they shrunk and hid in the button on his vest. It was really weird and that's about all I can remember.

I just had one this morning. My very first H/Hr shippy dream! Well, that I can remember.

Anyway, I dreamt I was watching the GoF movie, because it showed Dan/Harry and Emma/Hermione as they looked in GoF. I didn't actually picture being in the theater or anything just the movie.

I only saw their faces, but it looked like they were on the couch sitting side-by-side facing the fire and talking: Harry on the right, Hermione on the left. I said it looked like it was GoF but what got me was what they were talking about.

Harry was talking about when he was taking O.W.Ls and he was looking for some kind of fact or figure, so he looked everywhere. He didn't find anything so he asked a professor. I didn't see the professor's face, but Harry said that the professor said he was looking in all the wrong places. Then Hermione turns her head to look at him and says, "Really?" and Harry aswers with a kiss. I didn't see any snogging, but trust me, I saw toungue.

I laid there thinking it was the GoF movie and thought, The R/Hr shippers are gonna flip!! Then I relized Harry was talking about taking his O.W.Ls and so I thought it must have been the 6th movie, and so I thought, YES!!! WE WON!!! OUR SHIP HAS SAILED!!!

Mind you, I was still half asleep during all this. When I finally woke up completely I relized it was just a dream and said, "D*mn, it was all a dream!!!"

Needless to say, I was a little put out. That's probably an understatment.

I had a dream today. It was after the release of the 7th book (H/Hr happens in the end), and Jo was doing an interview. She said she had written a short story about Harry and Hermione and posted it on Portkey as a fanfic. She said it's her gift to those who believed till the end etc. Jo also wandered if her story wasn't deleted since she deliberately destroyed all her copies. And then she laughed.

It was a very realistic dream (but don't raise your hopes high *laughs*).

Dude I am not even joking when I say that I had a dream before HBP that Ron kissed hermione but after HBP I had another one where they were all looking for something below greengotts (however you spell that) and Harry said to hermione "I love you" It was soo weard and vivid. Me thinks that they were looking for one of the horcruxes!!!

Anyway I am glad that you posted this cause I never had the courage to come out and say my dream before you did

I did dream one time though that I was a witch only no one believed me and wouldn't let me into Hogwarts. That was a nightmare though come to think of it

Ack! I just had that same dream last week! I dreamt that I was in Book 7 and Ron and Hermione kept on kissing...omg. It was AWFUL. I stood there and watched them and I kept on thinking, "This is not right." And then somebody started stalking me and it was revealed that they were taking my picture and selling it to the newspapers...odd. I think she was Ginny...lol. Yeah, I woke up and I was depressed the ENTIRE day. It was awful. I hope you never have a dream like that again!

And omg, the one with Rowling revealing it was H/Hr all along...ack. I wish with all my heart that could happen. *sighs* Can anyone say paradise?

I've never had an HP related dream before you're all lucky. Unless you dreamt about R/hr kissing, in which case you're very unlucky. You poor traumatised souls *hugs*

I have had a recurring dream that shows the Trio out searching for the Horcruxes. It's nightfall and they decide to go into a cave to rest for the night. Ron is taking first watch and has positioned himself at the cave's opening. Harry and Hermione go further into the cave to rest. And rest they do not do!

Unfortunately, my dream always ends at the same spot. H/Hr are snogging passionately but it never goes any further than this, because my alarm goes off and awakens me. Bummer! Perhaps if I set my alarm for an hour later, then maybe my dream will progress from a PG rating to an NC-17! Worth a try!

I have had so many Harry Potter dreams is it not funny anymore. Like one really random one was when my face was on the back of Quirrel's head instead of Voldy and it was just weird.

Ok but I did have a dream where Harry and Hermione were walking in the Chamber of Secrets and harry told Hermione he loved her and they wlaked together holding each other's hand. The weird thing was that there were floating slippers in front of them guiding them. (yes I have crazy dreams) but it was still squee worthy for me.

Excellent...these dreams seem so real...weird what the mind can cook up when you're sleeping...I had a dream once too. It involved Harry and Hermione but the details are....ah, well....um...too detaily to be posted here

i have lots of harry potter dreams too! well most of them are fulfilling my dreams that H/Hr will happen! actually, it happens a lot now because i'm reading the fanfic Paradigm of Uncertainty and just finished the chapter where harry and hermione finally did "it"

As for dreams, I've had some, but I usually can never remember all the details, but two I remember vividly. One of my dreams I remember seeing Harry and Voldemort fighting in a forest, most likely the final battle. Then all of a sudden I look around and see Hermione lying on the ground motionless. I don't know if she's dead or not, all I remember is seeing this look of rage on Harry's face as he continued to fight with LV. Then next thing I know I wake up. Most likely this dream stemmed from after reading OotP with the whole DoM fiasco (this is a scene I'm really looking forward to seeing in the movie when it comes out next year, the people in charge better not screw it up).

Then there was another dream where it once again takes place in a forest. Its the final battle between Harry and LV. Hermione comes running to the clearing when all of sudden Harry gets hit with a curse (I'm not for sure if its the killing curse or not), but anyways, acting on instinct she ignores Voldemort and goes straight for Harry. Tears are streaming down her face as she cradles Harry's head in her lap.

Voldemort is laughing a Hermione's tears, and when Hermione hears this she becomes furious. Clutching Harry close to her, she begins firing off curses at Voldemort, but he just easily deflects them before finally he finally has enough and disarms her. As Voldemort is talking about how much joy it will give him to kill her also, Hermione angers seems to deflate as she focuses her attention on Harry. Her tears are falling onto Harry as she pleads for him to come back to her, then she rest her head on Harry's and whispers out, "I love you, Harry. Please come back to me." Then she places this lingering kiss right on his lightening bolt scar.

Of course just as Voldemort says the killing curse, Harry raises his wand and...of course this is the part where i wake up once again. All I can say is ###### alarm clocks.

That's not a dream; that's a nightmare! That's when it's time to break out the teddy bear and your favorite H/Hr websites!

I had a crazy Harry Potter dream last night. Probably from watching Goblet of fire about 30 times yesterday but anyway LOL

I dreamed that I was at last a hogwarts student and I was trying to get rid of Ginny. I was carrying around a book and in my dream the book was book 7 and I was trying to point out to her that she wasn't a real character and that she should just go away! She was really ugly in my dream too so that made it even more funny. Now I am usually not a big ginny hater. I like Ginny I just don't like her for Harry but last night just messed with my head! lol

I was really very obsessed in my dream and I followed her around to all her classes. Finally, I saw Harry and I shouted something to him. I don't know what it was I shouted, but he just lifted up his bangs and pointed to his scar and laughed. Then he just turned his back and disappeared into this huge crowd that was standing in a circle watching me.


Then my alarm clock went off and I had to go.

I had the most frustratng dream last night

The last book had come out and I knew that H/Hr got together, but I was not going to skip ahead, so I'm reading and people kept interrupting and interrupting and interrupting so much that I nearly bit their heads off! Then I got to a part where things were starting to get good and BAM! I had to stop reading (for some reason). I was so mad when I woke up.

I admit I peeked to see who died in OOTP (and still didn't figure out that it was Sirius... ) and looked at this page on HBP that my sister told me to (only the page was for the american edition and I bought the canadian, so the page was like totally non-sensical in context of what she told me) BUT I REFUSE TO SKIP AHEAD when we get to HP7!!!!

Anyways, just wanted to share my little stories!

OOOOH I just wanted to add one more thing to my dream that happened. When Ron kissed hermione I remember her saying something like "We can't yet??" anyway she didnt have the best reaction to it. And the dream after HBP where harry says "I love you" I recall they fell down a waterfall and were in an underground river I think he said it to here cause they were in trouble and about to die. I was a very romantic dream.

Dont worry Princess I also kinda skipped ahead in HBP but not to see who dies but for some pumpkin pie goodness that never really took place.
*sigh* oh well....Its not over till the fat lady sings!!

Ok...I read fake spoilers that said H/Hr wouldn't happen, but that Harry would realize his feelings for her...was sooooooo dissappointed when I read the book (especially since my sister and cousin went online the night before and read all the real spoilers and were tormenting me while I tried to block it all out)

In almost all of my shippy HP dreams (and believe me, there aren't many) H/Hr always get together (or atleast most of the way there...maybe no love declaration, but they are definately not acting as "just friends")

I would love to say that I'm prophetic, but tht would be a barefaced lie. But I just feel it in my bones that h/hr is right (though the pit of my stomach says that they all die in some sort of bomb explosion).

OK everone I just had another dream last night where

I was sitting with hermione and her and I were just talking and I suddenly asked "you love him don't you? You love Harry." and she blushed and said "I think I have always loved him."

OMG it was so vivid I just couldnt believe it!

Anyway just something to make you go...."I feel like some pie."

I had a different dream last night... in this dream Voldemort is torturing Hermione, trying to get her to tell him where Harry is. Unbenownst to him, Harry is nearby. Unable to bear to hear Hermione's screams any longer, Harry comes out in the open and yells at Voldemort to let Hermione go. He tells Voldemort that it's him that he really wants and to stop hurting Hermione. There's so much anguish in Harry's voice. Voldemort has this maniacal grin knowing that he has the "boy-that-lived" pleading for the life of a "Mudblood"! Voldemort could easily kill Harry at this point, but he would rather keep him alive to "toy" with him later. He practically throws Hermione at Harry, where they end up in an embrace. Harry lifts Hermione's tear stained face and says to her how sorry he is and that it's all his fault. At this point, Hermione tells him that she loves him and that she would do it all over again. Harry looks at her and realizes that she is so much more than just a friend. He tells her that he loves her too. They kiss very passionately! I don't know where Voldemort is while H/Hr are snogging, but, just before I wake up (and while H/Hr are still kissing), I hear Voldemort give a maniacal laugh....

... I wonder if part two to my dream will come tonight? Stay tuned.
