Because Hermione gave Harry his first sign of love. (The hug is PP), and while going through each year there is at least one other sign (if not oh so more, as we all know) in each and every book, thus leading into deeper hidden love (which one day will be hopefuly rise to the surface of the truth). **sighs** ahh the pumkin love.

Here's my contribution.

242 - Because they like to grabb each other and don't mind it at all. In PoA Harry could feel the pain of Hermione holding him so hard, but did he let go? Nope. He didn't mind it. Ha!

243 - Because their second names both starts with J. Harry James Potter + Hermione Jane Granger. If they get married, it would be HJP for both of them.

244 - Because Hermione knows who Harry is, undertstands where he have been, accepts what he is and still allows him to grow and be just Harry. (Taken from one of my favourite friendship quotes)

245 - A joke, a memory, a discussion, a place and a whole lot more can make Harry think of Hermione.

258. Hermione seems to know an awful lot about how girls with crushes on Harry act.

ok, this maybe a reason or not(i don't know) but, on the new PoA trailer where in the beginning it show's snape entering the DADA class and he pulls down the screen and says "Turn to page 394". So out of my pure curiosity, i turned to that page in the PoA book(hardcover) and it turned out to be when H/Hr first traveled back in time with the time turner...is that reason?

And Because if you look at most of the pictures in POA you will see that Harry and Hermione are allways like.... closer to each other than Hermione is with Ron. They are either sat quite close to each other, or Harry is protecting Hermione in some way like in the Forest where he has his arms wrapped around her and she is holding onto him ( the Dementer scene ) and in OOTP in the DOM where the bookshelf came crashing down he pulled a handful of her robes and pulled her down (when there was other people that he could of done this to) and when the Death Eater cast the spell and it hit her in the chest, he felt all panicky and when Neville re-assured him that she was breathing he felt light headed. Or she is protecting him ( in the Shrieking Shack where she is standing in front of him with her hands wrapped around his waist saying to Sirius Black " If you want to kill Harry you'll have to kill us to!" ) and they rode the Hippogriff together and we all know what the meaning of the Hippogriff means ! (well just in case you dont it means LOVE ) and by reading the books she has given him god no's how many hugs and 1 kiss (i think it wos the 1 at the end of Goblet of Fire?? some one tell me if she has given him more) where as; she has given Ron only 1 hug when he and Harry had made up at the end of the First Task in Goblet of Fire for the Tri Wizard Tournament and has given Ron 1 kiss in OOTP wen it was Rons first quidditch match and she was wishing him good luck (someone tell me if im wrong again) and Hermione is allways grabbing on to Harrys wrist, but does he mind????? NOOOOOOOOOOOO Oh and when her and Harry were asked by Hagrid to go and visit Grawp in the forest, Hermione was almost knocked to the floor by something and Harry caught her just in time before she hit the forest floor. ( And there's lots more but i cant be bothered to type them all out)

When looking at the pics from POA, the only pictures i have seen of Hermione and Ron looking close, was when the trio was having their first Care of Magical Creatures class with Hagrid, and he selected Harry to ride BuckBeak, and Hermione suddenly grabbed Rons arm (notice its the arm not the wrist) and they both looked away looking very embarressed and hermione's face was like "oh my god what have i just done?!"
Oh and another picture was when (it might of been the scene where the Minister for Magic and this other bloke was at hagrids to give BuckBeak the chop) and the trio were standing at the top of a hill and Hermione pulled a face as if she couldnt bear to hear something bad happen and she turns to run and hugs him and ron is just stood there looking like an idiot with out even comforting her, where as Harry automatically turns and puts his hands on her shoulder.

Well all of that is just aloud of rubbish and im just rambling on, but does anyone get my point? Sorry if its rubbish but its my first post. And sorry if this has bin said before, this is my first time after all
