Your previous post was begging for flames. You didn't have to put down other ships in order to justify why you like L/J. I myself didn't see any hint of D/G at all but there's no point in shoving my opinion in the D/G fans' faces. I'll let them enjoy their ship, just like they're letting me enjoy mine.

As for when I started liking L/J - I wouldn't say I'm a really big fan of L/J, but I started reading some fanfics in 2004 when we were setting up fic recommendation forums for Portkey's sideships, ie, L/J, R/LL and D/G, and for PK-neutral stories. Before that, we only had H/H fic recs as a subforum of the main H/H shipping forum.

While putting up the rec threads for L/J stories, I got curious about them so I started reading some. There are plenty of good ones out there.

well it's just that they are THE couple!! you can tell that they loved each other very much.....and their son as well. i mean why else would they die to save him? and also, they are Harry Potters parents!!! what's not to like? We owe the BIG-TIME because they are the reason that we have harry!!!!!! and also, if we said ANYTHING against L/J Harry would crucio our butts into the next millenium!

I don't really ship them(I ship Severus/Lily), but I like them. Kind of what I think of Ron/Luna. I like them because:
1. Without them there would be no Harry. Without Harry there would be no H/Hr. O
2. They're cute together.
