What does Draco smell like?-- Yea, he would smell like cologne. I'm thinking cologne Ginny got him for Christmas. He wears it every day even if it's not expensive, suit-for-a-Malfoy (as he would say arrogantly) cologne Because he loves Ginny like that.

Question:

Say Ginny and Draco had started dating. Would Draco be the one to make the first move of asking her out, or will Ginny be the brave Gryffindor? Where would they go on their first date? What would they do?

I think Draco would ask Ginny about -- only it probably wouldn't be asking, more of telling her that they're going out. I don't know where they'd go -- no doubt that Draco would want to impress her, if it was Post-Hogwarts, probably out to dinner at a fancy resturant or something.

Angst or Fluff, kiddies? Hmmm...it all depends on my mood really. I write angsty stuff that ends up being sorta fluffy (if that makes ANY sense whatsoever). If I'm depressed, fluff makes me smile. If I'm in a relatively good mood (and I can handle the darkness... ::Shudder: I'll read angst.

I always like to think of gradual build-up. I mean, it may be love at first sight, but both of them have their pride that would get in the way of confessing love to one another. Especially Draco.

Not a sudden burst of passion. I'm sorry but that's just OOC to me. It would have to be gradual, lots of teasing in the beginning, then the teasing turns to playful bantering, and then they become friends. After that they can start you know... falling in love and stuff.

I'm going to go with the minority when I say I like the sudden burst of passion. I like Fire/Ice for a lot of the UST and attraction. I do like gradual build-up (and in most cases besides D/G, I'd prefer it) but something about D/G makes me want them to just see them together ASAP therefore, bursts of passion are required. Such fics like Ginny Weasley Thinks She's Love by Ms. Scribe and A Sorta Fairytale by Aurora North. You'd think I'd prefer PWPs because of this but I like it when there is a D/G sex with a story. The passion gets me into the mood. I am restless in the D/G get togethers.

Well, it's been a really long time since I last came to the D/G thread on portkey. So in other words, I'm back.

It'd be gradual. If it were a sudden burst of passion, it'd end up smut. Either they were drunk or they just went straight to the nearest delicious thing in pants/a skirt. Gradual is good. A slow seduction, barbed conversations, angsty moments, saucy situations that kind of thing. Now that's what would happen.

All very sexy and all that.
