I`m 13. Born in Febuary! I love both dan/emma and harry/hermione

ron/hermione seems retarded...they fight constenly and if they were to go out, they would act like a middle-aged couple

20 Today!!!
I've always had a fascination with books (being an Eng.Lit grad) and Harry Potter is no exception from my ever growing library collection.

It's so exciting to see how many different ages we have here! JK must be really proud!
I am 19, and will be 20 in March (I don't want to, though).
I like things taht other people consider childish. I read fairy tales and books for children (not that I consider HP one of them) and my favorite movies are Disney's.

I am a 30 years old HP fan. At first I was nervous telling my friends how much I loved Harry Potter, but I soon realized that many of my friends were reading the books too. A couple of weeks ago my friend and I had a Harry Potter book discussion and social, and 18 people showed up! A majority of the people who attended were in their late twenties or thirties and some in their forties. It was a blast!

Hello! I'm one of the OLD ones. I just turned 33. I've been a Harry Potter fan since 2000 when GOF first came out. I was a fifth grade teacher at the time wondering what all the hype was among my students about these Harry Potter books. They finally convinced me to read them... and here I am today.. . a Harry Potter nut!
Nice to meet you all!

I'm 29. I only got into Hp in June when I decided to start reading chapter books to my son to get him ready for kindergarten. We had SS and CoS on DVD so I figured he could stick with PoA. I bought it and read chapter 1 to him. Then I went downstairs and read the rest of it. 3 days later I bought GoF...a week after that I preordered OoTP (read it in 2 days) and started writing fanfic a few months ago. I'm still generally avert my eyes when discussing any of it with my friends...I'm addicted to Harry

I'm going to be 16 in December. I'm surpised too at the age differences here. I think it's awesome.
I'll probably still love Harry Potter when I'm in my 30's so I don't think anyone should be embarassed. They're great books! And the fans are so cool!

I'm 20. I'll be 21 in January. I just discovered Harry Potter this July, after seeing SS for the first time. I had always thought that Harry Potter was only for young children, but I was so wrong!! After seeing the film, I immediately went out and bought all the books and read all five of them in about a week! Now I'm hopelessly addicted!!

I am 22, I will be 23 (oh god, what an age hehe) in June, (29) and I got into Harry Potter about 2 and 1/2 to three years ago, My friend got me the first four books for christmas. I remember this because it was when the fourth book came out. I even have my twenty-six year old bro-in-law and my twenty-five year old sister into it. They took me to see Harry Potter the opening night.
So, in closing you are never too old to enjoy a great book, (not sure if that should be a quote, because I just said it. ) I think there should be no exception to that saying. Besides in England, (I believe) that the first print of these books was for adults and not children.

and i thought "how can u get into a book with a flying bird on the cover or anything that involves 3 headed dogs?!"
but somehow i finally read them, (thank goodness i did!) i love these stories! they're the best! haha i'm completely obsessed now, but its comforting knowing i'm not the only one! and that there are tons like me! =)

Hi! I'm 22, will be 23 in less than a month. I've been a fan for just over a year. Nothing like picking up a copy of of SS during a very boring shift working in my college bookstore and becoming a full fledged addict.
At least now as a social worker, the kids I work with think I'm cool...even if no one else does.

I'm 15, but most people I meet on the street thinks I am over 18. One person even asked me what university I would be going to...

Well, I guess my head is a little bit older than my body. One person who actually knows me really well commented that I'm "a 15 years old girl with a head of a 80 years old". Isn't it sad? But, hey, I still love Harry Potter and our Pumpkin Pie ship. So I can't be that old, can I?

But again, that's not a very accurate way of judging your age....

I'm confused!

Well, thank Goodness there are people like
Potterific and a few others, or I'd feel lonely...
I'm 28

turning 29 the 10th of July 2004

I firstly met fanon!Harry (actually fanon!Draco and fanon!Ginny) because I own a fanfiction webpage, and someone told me that there was a plagiarism in a Harry Potter fic.
Previously, I had never read Harry Potter because I thought it was for children. I liked the fic (it wasn't a plagiarism, by the way), and I was intrigued by the characters. I downloaded the Philosopher's stone from the www; I thought that this way I could have a rough idea of the canon without spending money.
I liked the film, and the day after I went to my fave bookshop, and bought all 4 the books. I liked but wasn't excited about PS and CoS, but I dearly LOVED PoA! As I read PoA I had the first idea for a Fanfiction (Harry Potter and the Reflection of Tromedlov), and I read quickly all PoA and GoF to see if it was applicable. it was... since then I'm an addicted HP fan

PS: PoA is still my fave book of all

Hello everyone!
Well, I'm 21.
Although I'm legally an adult in Brazil and can do everything an adult person is allowed to do (like getting married, running for elections, getting a loan, etc.) people say that I look really younger (more like 15, really).
So, I guess the worst aspect of looking like 15 is that usually just 15 year-old guys flirt with me...lol (Although I have nothing against them, it's a bit frustrating).
If only it were Daniel Radcliffe...

New here. Anyway, I'm 16, 17 in March (taking As levels - go Britain!). 5'4", very short compared to everyone at school/college, the Year 10s are taller than me!. Um, also female.
As for those here who are 11-13 years, I so remember being in fandoms at that age. Make the most of it, seems the older you get the more... responsibly active

most people expect you to get (at least in most fandoms). Unless you're a lurker. Anyway, have fun being at the start of teens!

Twenty-seven although I look like I am 16. used to work the night shift at a local hospital. There is a curfew in Chicago(though rarely enforced) for kids under the age of 18. So I am on my way to work and a cop stops me and tells me to hand over my Identification. He starts giving me this whole spiel about the curfew and a young lady like me needs to be at home with my parents. Was he surprised when he found out we were the same age!!!!!
When I was 16 I looked 10, now I am 27 and look like a teen . I hated my teen years and here I am trapped with a teenager face and body!!!! Hopefully when I am 30 I will finally look old enough to drink.
