I don't like Draco/Hermione at all...it just doesn't make sense. They demean each other too often for that. But I understand that you ship H/Hr first so I'll shut up!

Neville would be an OK choice for Hermione if it never happens between her and Harry. And Luna for Harry just because she's cool and thats shes my twin sister. JKR stole her from me. Yeah and Snape would also be a good choice for Hermione ::snorts:: ::screams while trying to duck from flying tomatoes:: !

I guess ship like D/G D/HR SS/HR, are guilty pleasures for people.
I can't say they are mine, though.

Yea I know it doesn't make sense and that it won't happen. Actually, I think it would be kinda funny if it happened (in a sad way of course).
Yay my 100 post! Took me long enough.

For Hermione i accidently voted Viktor when i meant Neville, but i guess Vicky would be ok also.If r/hr happens then i wouldnt be as bothered as i should be anymore since ive already done all my crazy outbursts and denial about it already, of course id be sad for no h/hr and go into denial again for a short time and indulge myself in h/hr fics, but if it happens what can i do about it so ive already prepared myself, however some r/hr shippers bother me to no end though, like the whole fanon thing in my sig and saying r/hr is canon already, among other things.
ok, calming now. anyway, d/hr doesnt bother me either, its just that im a rabid obsessive-compulsive d/g freak and my rabid obsessive-compulsiveness for d/g is only topped by my rabid obsessive-compulsiveness for h/hr.
For Harry id say Luna, for some weird reason r/hr and h/g seperately do not bother me at all but the very idea of OBHWF irks me to no end i think i will explode. But as said, h/g solo does not bother me, but id rather Luna because of the above mentioned rabid obsessive-compulsiveness concerning d/g.

Yes, Luna is probably the distant second best choice for Harry and Neville the distant second best choice for Hermione. Maybe that's why some people ship Neville/Luna...? (I don't.)

Oct 12 2003, 01:29 PM
Well as of today i have gone over to the N/LL side officially, however my choice for Harry being with Luna remains the same, because well my D/G ness overules my N/LL ness and i really dont see any other option for Harry besides Hr,G or LL.
Choice still remains as Vicky or Neville for Hermione.
As for my final decision on N/LL, well i just believe they would actually make a cute couple, like H/Hr and D/G.
I feel bad not having an official ship for Ron though(Im not a Ron hater, i see him and Ginny as the new main comic relief with Gred and Forge gone from Hogwarts)
I guess if i had to choose anyone for Ron now id take Lavender though.
As for why i see N/LL as a cute couple, that will be sorta shown in my upcoming post Hogwarts fic that has H/Hr, D/G, R/Lav,N/LL and tonks/lupin.
Of course H/Hr will be the main ship and majority of it will take place in H/Hrs house, however the other ships will be a part of it since it involves watching a Quidditch match.

Shrug...I'd rather see Neville with Ginny and Ron with Luna but that's just me. I don't mind N/Lu though. Whenever you post up that story, please send me a link!

i voted for D/Hr as my second choice..Hr/V jsut..i jsut dont see it
Hr/R- i'd kill my self!!!
Hr/N i odnt see it either!
Hermione wiht the weasley twins...thats jsut not right...that like...daitng your distant cousin...or long lost borthers...
jackryan411
Oct 13 2003, 07:23 AM
Yeah Hermione with the Weasley twins is just WEIRD. Extremely strange...D/Hr is messed up too, but I think I've stated my views on that already.

Oct 13 2003, 07:36 AM
Well, I personally don't mind R/Hr or H/G. I just don't prefer them over other ships, such as H/Hr. However, as someone mentioned earlier, Harry still thinks of Ginny as Ron's little sister. In OotP, he kept refering her to Ron as "your sister." I think that must say something.
As for Neville/Luna...I honestly don't know where this started up. There was little to no interaction between them. Oh well, if you ship it that's fine with me. I just prefer Neville with Ginny, or Hermione if H/Hr doesn't happen.
jackryan411
Oct 13 2003, 09:57 AM
Unfortunately, I do mind R/Hr and H/G. But hey, I guess it's better to have an open mind like you, Kalie! R/Hr seems like a divorce waiting to happen and so does H/G. Why H/G? Because when a man doesn't pay attention to his wife, bad things happen.

Hmmm...
I want to say Viktor....but there is something about Oliver.
Hermione and Neville is definatley the cutest, but I'm going to go for Hermione and Oliver.
jackryan411
Oct 13 2003, 10:17 AM
Oliver? Um...I don't see any possibilities except for in the third book where Harry says Wood looked like he could've kissed her. But what do I know?
Alexandranl
Oct 13 2003, 10:40 AM
That's an upsetting topic

But IF (ooh, ooh, big word!) I had to choose, it'd be Neville/Hr *sigh*
jackryan411

Yeah, this can be pretty upsetting. But I guess we should be prepared. Just in case, I mean.

Yeah, I don't really see Hermione/Oliver.
He'll probably ditch her for a broomstick.
But this is a just in case thread. We need to expect the unexpected.

Expecting the unexpected, fine. Expecting the unrealistic... you're pushing the couples there.

Constant vigilance!
But some of these pairings are a tad unrealistic. But still we have to stay on our guard.

Nothing's unrealistic in JKR universe
Some of these pairings though...umm...not likely, but possible

You have to admit, there are far more unrealistic pairings out there. Just check out the FAP Master Ship list for proof.

There, there, we just need to keep our faith. We have canon evidence and loads of different thing to support us. Some of those couples have to pop out of thin air to happen and JKR is better than that.

KaiserDragon! *takes the pie - finally! I was out of the sweets

YET AGAIN! Anyhow, whichever pairings, I trust JKR...unless she doesn't follow H/Hr, of course *cracks her knuckles*, because Azkaban has some space for evil writers

(nah, not really, I wouldn't send her
there, maybe just an uncharted island with no humans and many wild animals somewhere in Atlantic

)

By the way Aramas, the Acceptance of Fate is AWESOME! (Good work by Arya1, no?) Anyway, yeah, some pairings can be REALLY unrealistic. For example, the teacher/student ones....
KaiserDragon
Oct 14 2003, 08:45 AM
*Shudders* Yeah, that's a good example... Some of those are plain out scary.
jackryan411
Oct 14 2003, 10:08 AM
Yeah...like anyone involving Dumbledore and a younger student freaks me out. Or Snape...heck any of the teachers! It's just something you don't want to imagine.

I thought you were an R/Hr shipper? And Ron with Ginny? Um...no. That's just gross.
Laura Laurent
Oct 14 2003, 11:15 AM
The thing with me is... I've been really dedicated to HP for a long time... for a while I was TOTALLY a H/Hr shipper.... but quite frankly I just H/Hr-ed out. When it comes to fanfiction and what not, I much prefer slash and wealeycest to even Harry/Ginny or Ron/Hermione, because those stories are always so fantasticly well written that you overlook the fact that genetics are screaming "EWWW!!!"
But I love debating (as long as it's respectful and fun) and in all seriousness, I'm slightly inclined to believe that maybe R/Hr have a better chance at getting together, but mostly I'm up in the air on all that stuff.
jackryan411
Oct 14 2003, 02:26 PM
That's cool...Weasleycest...lol, you've been going around with that! Welcome to Portkey...*passes slice of pumpkin pie.

Oct 14 2003, 02:45 PM
Weasleycest? That's new... If I have any negative comments, I assure you that I'll keep them to myself. Are they really that well written? Cause' I'm
really having a hard time imagining it.
Better accept that pie. Better from him than most here.

Thanks, Aramas...lol....I wonder about the Weasleycest stories. Could they be well-written? I dunno...it'd be hard to imagine.

I stumbled upon a Weasleycest( *giggles*) stories. They can either be written remarkably well or be a piece of crap.
And Laura how can you just be H/Hr-ered out!?! *gasps* How is that possible!

Oct 14 2003, 04:46 PM
Well, I was in fifth grade and I was campaigning around, and then these really creepy junior high kids asked me why I was such a freak, and so I went into this big speal about how Harry and Hermione would get together, they beat me up. I'm still not sure why, but it was a scarring experience.
Facade
Oct 14 2003, 04:49 PM
Oh. My. *huggles Laura*
That is taking shipping to the extremes, or where these people even HP fans? How horrible to go through that. By the way what were you campaigning about?
Laura Laurent
Oct 14 2003, 04:57 PM
I was campaigning about Harry/Hermione, I don't think they were HP fans, I think they were just empty, egotistical, power driven souls. It hurt, but I'm okay!
Stncold
Oct 14 2003, 05:08 PM
Ouch, must be scarring. My youngest cousin got picked on by some high schoolers for being a HP fan , but little did they know that one of the starting WR of the football team of their school happended to be that persons cousin and an HP fanatic, not to mention that starting WR has a second degree assault charge on his record.
*whistles idly*
On to Weasleycest, meh, nothing wrong with anything, people got their views.
Yea, thats pretty much it.
