There's a request here for D/G fans, too.I know that finding a really really good fic is hard and when you find one you just want to squee. So i was wondering what WIP's has the D/G readers at the end of their seat at the moment?
I can tell you the the fic's currently bookmarked in my browser are:
-Footprints by LadyRhiyana
-An Ideal Death Eater by Singtoangels
So what fic is your addiction of the year/month/decade?

Me too. Well, I am scrambling to finish Veritas, I am on chapter 11 or something...
Next in line is Serpent's Bride, because I am ashamed to say I haven't read it yet.
[

WIP means work in progress, right? Oh I really hope so.]
In this case, I am anxiously waiting for more of "If it were any simpler, it would be impossible" by Mochabutterfly. At least I think it's by her...

Well I haven't read an Ideal Death Eater. But I have marked FootPrints by LadRhiyana (I love her take on deatheaters and slytherins)
Other story I have marked is The Weasel and the Kneasle by Davesmom and Fathers Sons and Lovers, Heroes shed no Tears and Dark Directed.
Cheers

Sea of Waking Dreams by Cinnamon - a must, must MUST read for ANY D/G shipper. The other ships are kinda odd, but the overall fic is so amazing, that you barely notice. I LOVED it. Everyone MUST go to Schnoogle and read it. Not a WiP, but still GREAT.

I stopped reading the Draco Trilogy. I got up to chapter five of her most recent one (DV, right?? I can't even remember anymore...) and I just had to stop. I like angst, but this is beyond me. I mean, Cassie's writing style is amazing and her fics are great, but they're just not for me.
But I AM reading "An Ideal Death Eater". "Footprints" and "Serpent's Bride" are on my to read list and I'll get to them...eventually...they're somewhere on my "List of Fics to Read When I Have the Time" (it is a VERY long list. Let's just put it this way - the top of the list was the PoU/ASC/DV universes about a year or so ago. I finished those about a year ago. I'm barely half way through the list now. Yeah...I'm a bit behind. *cringes*)

Ick. You all know how I feel about the Draco Trilogy. I don't like it. Blech, never finished.
I am reading An Ideal Death Eater, I know I started Serpent's Bride at
some point. That's about it right now, I'm on hiatus from long fics [D/G and otherwise] because I just don't feel like putting up with them currently. Plus with planning the DLA fic, I'm a smidgeon busy.

I know what you mean about stopping fics halfway through and getting arund to others. Starting a fic seems like such a comitment, and I am way too busy with reading books for school (darn advanced english class) and with the DLA for me too...
I am mucking my way through DV despite what you say, Vanilla, but I am VERY depressed to find out that there are SIX chapters not even posted yet. I don't think I can handle that much more of it... it depresses me to read and I need some GOOD NEWS.

~The Draco Trilogy. Draco Vertias, chapter... something or other. Six, I think. I haven't read it in months though...
~Just A Theory by YoukaiTaiji-ya
~Normality by Cessa
~Scarlet Woman by Paranoid
~Our Little Secret by Sakura (

)
I'm a busy little bee, aren't I? (I haven't heard that expression in forever, so I just had to use it...) And the DLA does take up a lot of time... But it's fun, so I don't care.

haha! You guys are so sweet. Someone hurt me. I havent read a fic in like a month or two. Eep. *faints* I just have no time anymore! Does anyone have a few cute semi-long fics to read? That are really good?
~Ryoko~
Ps; Ohhh, I like Sakura's fics! I havent read them all (as you know Sakura) but I do love the ones I've read. (: I agree with Puf though. The DLA takes up plenty of time and thought-space.

Well that's it then... I have been sucked into the vile evilness that is crossovers... Spesifically Buffy/HP crossovers.
Karen's Freakazoid High Is looming high on my must read list... Of course if you want to check it out you first have to read the two prequels: Camp Killalot and Here We Come To Save The Day!

All the ones I've been watching are here, pretty much (ID-E, DV, Footprints) , so I'll add
If You Only Knew by the Okelanis and (as of now) the rest of Life Canvas on Jade Okelani's
LJ.

Oh yeah, don't you just love Jade and Sarea?
I'm reading MochaButterfly's not-so-new-anymore fic, If It Were Any Simpler, It Would Be Impossible. And I'd also recommend Was I Ever Loved By You? by BookSmartBrilliance - both of them are on ff.net.

I'm reading
Rising from Ashes -- it's GREAT. Unfourtunately I don't have so much time as I would've wanted....
Actually, I read more D/G fics, but they are all at schnoogle.com and most authors don't update every day. So I have to wait....

Don't worry, it took me awhile to figure it out as well. It means "Work In Progress", so basically, which unfinished fics are you waiting on the edge of your seat for?

Hi D/G fans, can you include your fave fics in the
D/G Fic Recommendations (Rec) forum? You're in the best position to know if they fit the Rec criteria.
There are also a number of
"lost and found" D/G fics. Please PM me or Aurora North (hope you don't mind, A/N!) which stories do meet the Rec guidelines. We can then insert the Rec template and move the search threads to the Fic Recs forums.
What good would Fic Recs forums do? Here's our experience with the H/H Recs
--It's so much more search-friendly to put up separate threads for each fic. This thread might be easy to find now. But it could get buried in the back pages soon.

--Lots of authors register or delurk in PK, purposely to respond to their Rec threads. Afterwards, many of them apply as an author here.
--Lots of people lurk in the Fic Recs forums. The H/H Fic Recs lured me to PK. The D/G one might lure more D/G fans here!
Convinced you yet?

I've been searching everywhere for a good long D/G fic because these days hardly anyone writes good. I found one the other day that I found interest in that I haven't started reading yet, An Ideal Death Eater by (sorry! forgot by who) and so yea.. Its just really long and I'll have to wait till I find the time.

Me too! These days if you want to read a good D/G fic you have to read it
over. I was so happy yesterday because I found a really good one- with a sequel, mind you.

It's called "The Bat-Bogeys Cometh," and it's in the recs.

Yeah, I have a hard time finding D/G fics too. And I don't have much time to read either, so it makes it difficult because I look for reasonably short fics.

Umm ohh I love All You Need Is Love by Mochabutterfly & Wrongfully Accused by the same author on ff.netbtw both those fics. are completed. I hate waiting for new chapters to come out sometimes cuz I wanna read the rest of the story. So I was glad it was already finished when I found out about the fics. Umm I just started reading The Weasel and the Kneazel or however you spell it by Davesmom. So yeahh umm also I have Footprints by LadyRhiyana I'm not sure how to spell her name. Sorry if I spelled it wrong which I'm sure I did.

At the moment i am addicted to Drunk, and The Search For Delicious.

BUT... my alltime best fic ever was The Source by Luckyducky777 on ff.net. She's got it up here as well now tho. i just thought the story line was really original and it was well written.

Also i was at one point addicted to Nayanya from ff.net's fic's but i can't even rememeber them properly any more, she has a really funny bio as well.
