Hey! I'm starting my own fanfiction but I need to get some character descriptions on a few minor characters such as Lavender Brown, Parvati and Padma Patil, Frank Longbottom, Katie Bell, and some others. If you have a general idea of what they look like and their family, that would be great. Thanks!

Lessee... we don't know much about Frank, but it's possible to guess that he probably doesn't resemble Neville much; Harry says in OotP that Alice Longbottom looks just like her son, so Neville gets his looks from her. Other than that, I think it's up in the air with him.

Parvati and Padma are mentioned a lot in GoF, which of course I don't have with me. They're Indian and are apparently very pretty if the GoF Yule Ball descriptions are anything to go by, and we know Parvati at least wears her hair in a long braid.

Katie and Lavender are more up in the air. I don't think we've ever gotten a physical description of Lavender, although one can assume she's a very "girly" sort from the way she acts, and probably takes a lot of pains with her appearance. Katie is a Quidditch player and has been since Harry's first year, so she'd be athletic and might have pretty solid arms and shoulders since she's chucking the Quaffle all over the place. I don't think we ever get a description of her either.

Hope that helped at least a little bit. And yay minor characters! I have a soft spot for the Patils.

I really don't know what she'd look like, but that...

I see Lavender as a pretty, "petite" brunette too, weight and fashion conscious, and wearing a lot of make-up.

Heh, I was wondering, do we ever learn if all the Marauders were in Gryffindor or not? Or was Sirius in Slytherin?

I always pictured Lavender as a black-skinned girl with shoulder-length black hair that can also be sometimes in beraids (sp?)... Dunno why... just do...

What colors are Ron's eyes? Are they blue or brown? I've just been wondering.

Harry has green, hermione has brown, and ron has blue (I think, although it is probably worth checking out)

It's Blue. Ginny is the one who has brown eyes.

Half the fanfic world get Ron and Ginny's eye color mixed up, but Ron's is definitely blue and Ginny's is definitely brown. If I remember right, Arthur's is blue and Molly's is brown, and their kids are about half and half. Don't quote me on that one, though, because I'm not totally certain.
