Hello all,
The Draco Trilogy doesn't meet our Criteria for Recommending H/H Fics. That's why we didn't make a thread for it in there. If we move this thread there, it might lead some visitors to think it meets our Rec Criteria. (Can't elaborate without giving spoilers.)
SPOILER Alert for Draco series:
SPOILER!Draco Trilogy book 1 -- ends in H/H, Book 2 -- still H/H, Book 3 -- in progress. Draco gets the most exposure in all 3 books. Or at least, as much exposure as Harry or Hermione.
Again, I do think Cassie Claire is a terrific writer, with a knack for writing witty lines and imaginative scenarios.
I encourage all of you to discuss fanfics in the existing Fanfic Rec threads. If there isn't a thread for your fic, then make one -- as long as the story meets Portkey's criteria for Fic Recs.
I suppose those stories that do not follow our criteria (i.e., are not centered on H/H, D/G, R/LL or L/J) may be discussed in the "General Harry Potter discussion".
These past 2 weeks, I've seen at least
5 authors* come to our forums, just so they could thank (and exchange notes) with their readers. Having a single thread about a fanfic helps both writer and reader. Hence, I try to merge or cross-link the fic discussion threads that I see.
*Lori, Angel-Wing, Amynoelle, itmonster, Aris
I know the last 2 registered in the forums after I gave them the Rec Thread URLs to their fics.
This much I know: Lori came over a day after I posted (in FAP SCUSA) the link to Portkey's POU Rec.
Amynoelle and Angel-Wing are long-time Portkey members, but haven't posted much. They did join in the discussions when they saw the Recs for their fics.
Just my 2 Galleons (this post is too long for 2 Knuts)
