25SEP2003 Oh, I got it. One sees his/her user name appear in purple while logged in. If that user name is in an URL, the URL will not work in that user's computer, for as long as he/she is logged in Portkey. Other viewers can still click on the link, as they don't see the URLs in purple.
Did I lose you guys? What it means is that the URL works for people who have user names different from that in the URL. ~galtxtr

This story is now in Portkey. I've just read it, and I'm very much impressed! Realistic plot, characterizations consistent with pre-OOTP canon. It's from James' point of view. Watch him grow from a carefree student to someone who realizes how the other half lives.
