Since Ootp came out there is over a thousand sentences that relate to H/Hr.So I was reading Gof and found a short and sweet sentance that made me sigh happily.

Here's one:

Yeah, I'll agree, it is rather heart warming, isn't it? She knows him so well.... How is it that it hasn't occured to them both that they desire eachother?

Ah well, all of the cute lines I can think of without fetching a book are the ones everybody always talks about. (The scene following the kiss with Cho, etc.)

All this cute..... The Dark Lord needs a fix of Saving Private Ryan, I think. No cute there.

Alright, here's another;

Hehe I love the first quote you put marshmallow33. She's trying to make him big and strong!! Haha and I love the second one too. It gives me the mental picture of his arms wrapped around her Aww!!

I think there was another instance in one of the books (maybe OotP, since I don't have that one as memorized as I do with the others) where Hermione got Harry's food for him. I don't know why I never realized how cute that is. I love the Grawp chapter! Harry catching Hermione and setting her on her feet, and then later, her clinging to him behind the tree... As if we don't have a picture of them holding onto each other *snicker* Harry and Hermione are just so cute together, and it's the little moments, like her getting him food, that make me smile.

Love all those cute ones, especially the comment about getting Harry all strong. Here's one you've probably all read:

PoA pg. 199

Hermione bit her lip, looking extremely worried.
"Are you going to report me?" Harry asked her, grinning.
"Oh---of course not---but honestly, Harry---"

This gives me this great image of Hermione being worried, Harry giving her one of those killer grins (that make girls melt when they see 'em), and she's affected by it so much, she gives in and starts sort of stuttering (not like Quirrell stuttering, but like "Oh, I don't know what to say, my mind's still back on your smile."

Hello all!
Its me! Amanda! the organizer of the Official HMS Pumpkin Pie!!

I wanted to start a thread where we can list the reasons/moments/clues/quotes why we think that H/Hr are going to happen in canon!!
Once the site is up, we are going to put the list on the site, and we can keep adding to it, as we go along for fun! Its something nice and groupy to do to make us more a close-knit pumpkin pie family.. alright??
So please get listing! My goal is to get more then a hundred reasons!!
Hopefully we can (and then we can convince R/Hrs with this! heh heh!)

But what I was looking for was a more detailed response.. like for instance with your first one, you should be like

Hermione seems to be jealous of Harry and Cho's relationship in OotP, for instance, here she interrupts them to advert Harry's attention:["Dont ask," Harry muttered as Cho opened her mouth looking puzzled.She giggled."Hey Harry," Hermione called from the other side of the room, "Have you checked the time?"] As you can see, Hermione obviously wanted to interrupt their conversation before it got cozzier.. its clearly evident that she doesn't want Cho and Harry to be together, despite the act she's putting on, for his (or so she thinks) benifit.

Cuteness defined right there...Hermione holding Harry tight around the waist...love it. Oh yeah, what were the circumstances aroudn the beef casserole thing? Where was Ron? Was Harry speaking to him or not?

I think I did die when I read that...just kidding. Can you just see Harry sweeping her off the ground before she falls...(Sigh...) What a beautiful image!

I think it was mentioned before after the centaurs went off with Umbridge and Grawp tackled the other centaurs but wasn't aware of it.... Harry and Hermione instinctively moved closer to each other when they heard someone fro behind them.... and to think that was Ron...... Well, pure instinct brings them together don't you think?

Here's one that I absolutely love. It's after the Hearing and he's looking at the fountain and he thinks of Hermione..

"With a grin at the thought of what Hermione would say if she could see the statue of the elf, Harry turned his money bag upside down and emptied not just ten Galleons, but the whole contents into the pool."


Hehehe. The fact that he was thinking about her during this happy moment made me so happy!!! I don't know why, but I find this a very good H/Hr moment! Eee!!

Wooo, OK, I have something:

The hugs with Harry and Hermione and sometimes Ron.

Rightio so, I only hug friends that I feel totally comfortable with, I mean I don't go around hugging various people at all. I have to be friends with them for a long time, or be completely comfortable in their company.

I would much rather have a boyfriend with whom I am comfortable with hugging and kissing, (Harry) not someone that would awkwardly pat me on the head when I'm hugging them. (Ron)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a perfect basis for a well working relationship, freindship?
That means that the person feels completely comfortable with the other person, so comfortable that the person feels confident in hugging and kissing the other person.

Now Ron and Hermione don't have that confident feeling with eachother, Ron always feels awkward when Hermione hugs him, and sometimes calls her 'Barking' straight after she hugs him.
Harry and Hermione on the other hand, do have the feeling, Harry hardly ever feels awkard with her, and never calls her 'Barking' or a 'Nutter' after she hugs him.

Personally I think Hermione feels comfortable with both Harry and Ron, but feels more comfortable with Harry. I mean, you don't see Hermione grab onto Ron at all.
Even during the first task in GoF when she could have grabbed hold of Ron, she grabbed her own face instead. If she felt as comfortable as she does with Harry with Ron, surely she would have held onto him!?

Well do I make sense?
I doubt it!

My God, I hope we don't have to wait that long for book 7. I thought JK had already finished writing book 7...

They're gonna look awesome at the Premiers. I remember seeing them for the first time for the CoS... My mouth hit the floor when Emma came on with that lilac dress of hers. Sentances...Well I just finished reading PoA today and one scene sticks out clearly in my mind. It was when Harry's in the Three broomsticks and Hermione and Ron shoved him under the table when the teachers walked in. Harry sitting very close to Hermione's leg I assume because JK writes that Hermione's leg gave a nervous twitch...

Lol, we're seriously getting but hey, who cares? I'll have to say my favorite Sweet Sentence (hehe, Sweet Spot . . . *cough*) would have to be . . . hmm. . . . there's too many to choose from!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry. Anyway, it would be in OOTP - Harry's infamous line: "But I don't think you're ugly." *sighs happily in bliss* If that's not true love, I don't know what is. He accepts her for who she is - and doesn't really care about her appearance. And, KaiserDragon, where did you hear that? I don’t know if movies r in canon, but I just got one line from it and I think it’s really cute. You know that ‘it’s in your blood’ scene, after which, Hermione shows Harry his father’s name on the trophy, and then they’re climbing up the stairs, Hermione a few steps behind Harry and ron and ron says something like, “it’s spooky isn’t it? She knows more about you than you do!” and jerks his head in Hermione’s direction. And Harry says something like, “yeah well, it’s just…” and trails off, because the staircase starts moving. so in movies, ron's already notices? I just remembered this one from that beef casserole scene quote someone posted.

Actually, he said "Who doesn't?"

But WHY does Hermione know so much about Harry? She's studying more than just charms people.

Yeah, seriously, we are. Anyway, I was rereading a bit of OOTP for 2 hours (what'd you expect? Never mind, don't answer that ) today, and I came across a sentence - I guess you could call it a Sweet Sentence/"Stupid" Fluffy Thing That A H/H Shipper Goes Squeeing Over Every Time He/She Reads It It was on page 375, U.S. Edition (what's the difference between the U.K. and the U.S. editions, besides the spelling? Just wondering), when Harry, Ron and Hermione are in Charms class practicing their Silencing Charms on bullfrogs (lol). To me, this was just another example of how strong their bond is and how they think along the same line so often/alike But I couldn't help squeeing over it, of course :

I'm too lazy to re-read the books right now, but I remeber that in GoF in the yule ball, when Harry saw Hermione walking with Krum and his jaw nearly dropped, I love that part!!!

Lol, too cute...and then the funniest line of GoF:

"I vant to know vot there is between you and Herm-own-ninny."

I love the way Krum says it...(snort)...it's a great and infamous line. The Yule Ball when Harry pretty much looks her up and down is really cute...

Okay, here are some more cute lines from GoF:

"At once Hermione's Granger seemed to fill his head, shrill and panicky..."

And later:

"And so he tried to imagine his other bset friend, Ron Weasley's, reaction..."

Lol, Hermione's voice fills his head "at once" while he has to "try" and imagine Ron's reaction...cute. And:

Pgs. 168-169..."Aboard the Hogwarts Express"

"So...going to enter, Weasley? Going to try and bring a bit of glory to the family name? There's money involved as well, you know....you'd be able to afford some decent robes if you won..."
"What are you talking about?" snapped Ron.
"Are you going to enter?" Malfoy repeated. "I suppose you will, Potter? You never miss a chance to show off, do you?"
"Either explain what you're on about or go away, Malfoy," said Hermione testily, over the top of The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 4.

Cuteness...Hermione doesn't say anything when he's insulting Ron, but when he insults Harry she immediately steps in. This scene is pretty much repeated a year later when Hermione responds angrily to Malfoy bad-mouthing Harry and Malfoy says, "Struck a nerve?"

Lol, poor Krum...I just feel like posting what Harry thinks when he sees Hermione...I'm lazy, but it's so cute:

His eyes fell instead on the girl next to Krum. His jaw dropped.
It was Hermione.
But she didn't look like Hermione at all. She had done something with her hair; it was no longer bushy but sleek and shiny, and twisted up into an elegant knot at the back of her head. She was wearing robes made of a floaty, periwinkle-blue material, and she was holding herself differently, somehow---or maybe it was merely the absence of the twenty or so books she usually had slung over her back. She was also smiling---rather nervously, it was true---but the reduction in her size of her fro,t teeth was more noticeable than ever; Harry couldn't understand how he hadn't spotted it before.
"Hi, Harry!" she said.

Wow...cutest scene in the whole book. This is the description of a boy who is awestruck and yes, my friends, a boy who is thinking, "Whoa! This girl's got some fine stuff..." The whole description is so cute, so awestruck on Harry's part...one of the best paragraphs in the series. I bet Hermione loved to see her dear Harry with his jaw dropped and looking at him as he sized her up from top to bottom.

Also, considering the fact the Harry and co. will be getting older, the dangers more real, and series reaching its climax in 2-3 yrs., any movies made from Harry Potter will have to match. Action, adventure, and the stupid rating as well.

it's when in CoS hermione and harry are talking after the HUG and that crepy non-hug little thing that shouldn't be there and harry said something along "we couldn't have done that without your help" and hermione said "thanks" and it seemed like she was melting into him like she wanted to hug him again... I love it!

The hug was not wrong...the book does say Hermione came running to him yelling, "You solved it! You solved it!" Logically, you can deduce that she might have hugged him. But the whole hug/handshake thing is so ridiculous and annoying and stupid...argh...but oh well, the movies don't count for too much, in my opinion.

I didn't think of it at all. In fact, that seemed more natural. In PoA when Hermione hugged Ron after the Scabbers thing, Ron was uncomfortable about it. Meanwhile, Harry seems to like her hugs and take them in stride doesn't he?

Yup...after the first one he was embarrassed, but like twenty pages later when she was about to hug him, he was only glad that she didn't because his head was sore. Wouldn't mind the hug, now would you, Harry?

Yes, and Harry had been unconscious for about 3 days, leaving him only awake to think on Hermione's hug for a few hours at most. He got over that hug quick didn't he? Not bad for someone who probably ain't been hugged in 10 years, let alone by a GIRL! Hehe *runs before Logical Side steps in*

Erm, on-topic. There's a scene I like which I call The Noddies. It's a long-ish quote.

Harry and Hermione always had this "connection", they seem to be able to finish each others sentences, know each others thoughts, and be able to communicate just by looking at each other. It's been going on since CoS.

I was reading through my copy of OOTP today in the morning for the 975764653542434556 time. And as I was doing that I happened to come across a under played H/Hr moment. Get ready to squee!

Yeah... at the same time, instill a bit of sense into her about the cost of "seeing" thestrals.
