Yeah, I thought that was super-cute. Harry just quietly reassured her...I was half-expecting him to go berserk...but not on Hermione... ...lol, even though he does a lot of the rest of the book. Cute as a fluffy rabbit...if rabbits are cute.

Yeah, that was a bit of the old Harry ( quiet, calm) inserted to the new Harry( sarcastic, rebellious, angry). I thought it was quite nice that Hermione was the one to bring out that side of him in this angry stage/phase thing he has going on.
Ok...so i haven't read all the pages on this post but heres a cute lil couple of sentances (sigh*)

These sentances are in the Chapter called 'Hagrid's tale" in Ootp.It's when they're hiding from Umbridge under the invisibility cloak...
1. 'Hermione gasped;Harry clapped a hand over her mouth..'

Isn't the whole touching thing they do rather sweet?? I mean they're obviously so comfortable enough to touch one another even in front of Ron who i can imagine wouldn't cover Hermione's mouth with his hand..

PS/SS: Hagrid sticks Harry and Hermione behind a tree --> PoA: Harry and Hermione hide behind trees together --> OotP: Harry is taking a leaf outta Hagrid's book, and pulling Hermione behind trees.
The H/Hr associatin with trees is evolving. Also, it only happens in odd numbered books. So no tree stuff in Book 6. *snaps fingers* Darn. But Book 7... I expect snogging behind trees.
So with that, I update my Pumpkin Pie Predictions.
Book 6: a Harry initiated hug with Hermione.
Book 7: Another tree-pulling moment.

after re-read this scene I thought that it's kind of cute that hermione said that SHE knows but ginny said that THEY know that harry don't want anybody to worship him...hermione is just acting like she did in GoF when no one belived in harry and SHE knows him very well to know that what he says is the true...they're soo sweet

I'm going to attempt to get this back on topic, b/c I just thought of something really cute that probably doesn't mean much, but I've always noticed that Hermione is the usually the one to leave Harry last or to say something to Harry last (that matters) before he goes home (with the exception of Book 3, but then again I can't complain PoA is like the H/Hr Bible). But it just seems really poignant and nice that she is the one that is with him to the literal end. Whenever she does get the last words, I always picture it just being Harry and Hermione and she's just saying it to him on her own. It'd be very nice if Book 7 ended that way: (just for fun what if it ended like this?)
Harry, Hermione, and Ron stepped through the barrier at Platform 9 and 3/4 and found Mr. and Mrs. Weasley waiting for them on the other side. Their faces were lined, a little sad, but a small relieving and happy glow filled them. Mrs. Weasely ran to Ron, hugging him, then Hermione, and then Harry, who she hugged the longest while rocking him back and forth.
"Now...now that it's all over, you will come visit us very soon, won't you Harry?" Mrs. Weasley said, her voice slightly faltering and her eyes rimmed with tears.
"You bet, I will."
"Well, I will see you, mate," said Ron, shaking his hand and then ran off with his family.
Hermione stayed behind with Harry, her eyes also starting to rim with tears. Harry looked on at her with a weak, but genuinely happy grin. Hermione looked up at him, and grabbed his hand in hers as they continued to walk the station together. Suddenly Hermione's eyes grew wide and flew to his forehead.
"Harry!" she squealed, fumbling through her schoolbag with frustrated puffs until she pulled out a small compact mirror.
"Hermione, what is it?" he asked in worry, she had never looked at his scar with such excitement since they had first met each other on the Hogwarts Express.
"Just look!" she urged and handed the mirror to him.
Harry looked at his spectacled self in Hermione's compact mirror and his eyes moved to his own forehead. He felt his lips twitch and he broke out into a large smile. Hermione was squealing back at him and looking at his forehead before he took her in his arms. Harry let her go, but still held on to her hand with is free one and looked at the mirror again. There was nothing left of the scar.

(from CoS..when they saw Flich's cat at froze..and Harry/Herm got same shocked expression..with their little mouth open...but Ron didn't.
when Har/Herm just spared at each other..when they finally got answer or puzzle.
(from CoS Dvd's when Trio..were at Hospital Wings..and Hermione were turn back to normal after she was cat, they were talking about Tom Riddle's Diary and talking if he was one who open CoS fifthy year ago...and Hermione was asking Ron "are you sure?" and then all of sudden..Harry burst out '50 YRS OLD..AND THAT MEAN..." AND Hermione rush to her theory.."

Erm, on topic, on topic . . . You get all goofy (literally) when you read about the 2 Infamous Hugs. Actually, you savor and squee over even a tiny little shippy moment - a.k.a. Harry's state when Hermione was unconscious at the Dept. of Mysteries.

Yeah. Hermione was trying to cover up her suprise and shock that Ron managed to become prefect. We all know he was bad at it too.
Who said that the prefect thing is about R/Hr..... well, like what KaiserDragon said... Hermione was covering for her excitement because she thought Harry was the prefect and her expression suddenly changed to disbelief and utter disappointment.... and beside the twins were on Ron's case so she had to do something for a friend with no romantic inclinations..... I can't say the same if it were Harry.. i'm just so biased

Shippy Side: I know people think Hermione luring Harry out of the room is a big Shippy moment, and definitely not stupid, but that's not why I've mentioned it here. For me it's a stupid moment because Hermione has not only told Harry she lied to Ron to stop him making fun of her, she's lied to her parents about staying at Hogwarts to study. So while everybody's probably gonna know she lied to her parents to stay at Grimmauld Place, only her and Harry know she lied to Ron about the skiing. It's stupid, but I like them sharing a little secret together like that.

"I just want to say, Harry, that I'm sorry I ever suspected you. I know you'd never attack Hermione Granger."
It's says something that someone outside their circle and that isn't even in the same house as them, can even see the connection between Harry and Hermione. Ernie had fully believed it was Harry as the Heir of Slytherin, but once Hermione was attacked the thought dropped quickly because he knew how much he cared for her. I just love it!!

I'm pretty sure there was a topic about the fact that Hermione is almost always the last girl to be mentioned. After long discussions it was agreed that she wasn't ALWAYS the last, but most of the time she actually was. I really like the "preview" of the last book, but I just have a question, why are you so eager to get rid of Harry's scar?
All of those are such great moments! I found another moment the other night when i was skimming OOTP. IT's the part where Hermione leads Harry and Umbridge to the dark forrest, after the centaur and Grawp situation....after they escaped and Harry was taking out his frustration on Hermione....
Smart plan," he spat at Hermione, keen to release some of his fury. "Really Smart Plan. WHere do we go from here?
"We need to get back up to the castle," said Hermione faintly.
"By the time we've done that, Sirus'll probably be dead!" said Harry, kicking a nearby tree in tember, there was a high-pitched chattering overhead and looked up to see an angry bowtruckle flexing its long twig like fingers at him
"Well, we can't do anything without wands," said Hermione hopelessly, dragging herself up again. "Anyway, Harry, how exactly were you planning to get all the way to London?"
"Yeah, we were just wondering that," said a familiar voice from behind her.
Harry and Hermione moved instinctively together peering through the trees, as Ron came into sight.....
Okay, that totally makes me smile, because one minute Harry is mad at Hermione and taking out all his anger on her, but as soon as his guard is up and thinks danger might be coming, he moves "instinctively" towards her, trying to protect her from anything that might becoming at them. And Hermione obviously feels safe with Harry, and moves closer to him for security. *sigh* I just grin grin grin when I read it!

It’s sooooo sweet!! I’ve read that over hundred times already. Prof. McGonagall’s thrilled by that make-up story?! She actually accepted Harry’s story! I’m very disappointed that the director didn’t include that in the movie. It will be wicked if McGonagall’s a H/Hr shipper. (Hohohoho.)

Actually, in POA at the beginning when Hermione sends Harry the Broom Serving Kit. She signs her letter, "Love from Hermione"
I think that adding the from makes it a little bit more personal and intimate, than just "love hermione" Don't you think? hehe
