there's also this one scene, in one of the books, i cant remember at the moment, where they're talking in flitwick's class, and hermione neatly stacked her pillow. and then after their conversation, harry stacks his pillow right on top of hers. i thought that was very cute. i went all giddy. wub.gif

***yay for my 50th post!!!
-The Weasley, Harry and Hermione are having dinner at the Burrow (example)
I don’t know about you but that phrase make me a happy H/H shipper, like it’s the Weasley AND Harry and Hermione separately. They are out of the group and together. (Lol, I’m pathetic, I know)
lol! i thought i was the only one! after all its the little things that count too... wub.gif

They don't listen to reason do they? Heheh! biggrin.gif

Umm...I like it when they went on their walks around the lake in GoF! I kept thinking that he HAD to realise in GoF, but alas, it didn't happen!
*Shakes head* Harry's pretty dense when it comes to girls isn't he? rolleyes.gif
karenkate_kitty
my fave is in the department of mysteries when he practically threw off ron to the other room so he can help neville in carrying the unconscious hermione.... that isn't so romantic is it?
the_dog_star
I get H/Hr butterflies whenever Hermione snaps at Ron ^.^ And whenever Hermione said "Voldemort" in OotP, it always reminds me of why she did it the first time: For Harry smile.gif

Also, anytime Harry and Hermione's names are written together, I go 'Ha! Take that, Ron!' in my head laugh.gif

Yes, I know, I need to get one of those "Life" thingies. Know where I can find one? tongue.gif

i know! i love that part! and thats the thing that calms him the most.... tongue.gif
karenkate_kitty
yup... hermione is being brave and supportive to Harry.... she knows that Harry needs to feel reaasured in away because lots of people think other wise in OotP..... but there were enough DA members that believe in him but Hermione is basically the only one with the same league of courage as Harry...
Erise
And here I thought I was the only person crazy enough to notice stuff like 'Harry and Hermione' being put together blush.gif

I like the Hagrid one too, although it's more like it's because poor Hagrid can't pronounce his "H's" very well.

Okay fine, basically I went 'Awww' or something to that extent whenever anything remotely H/Hr appeared biggrin.gif

One of my warm fuzzy moments happened when Crookshanks sat on Harry's lap. Awww....Hermione's kitty loves Harry! She must talk real nice about Harry to Crookshanks huh? whistling.gif
Scrivenshaft
Yes. Crookshanks likes Harry, but can't stand Ron. And as Sirius said, he's a very clever cat (probably a kneazle, but that's another story). I think Crookshanks is telling the reader something.... wink.gif
vanillapuf
My favorite thing is the similarities between Harry & Hermione and Percy & Penelope. I've posted about this before.

H/HR and P/P both couples's names start with the same letter.
Percy and Harry both end in Y.
Penelope and Hermione both have the same number of syllables in their name and end in a phonetic 'e'.
Percy and Harry both wear glasses.
Penelope and Hermione both have curly brown hair and both are smart.

I dunno, it always makes me giggle. [And I still love Percy, no matter what OotP says rolleyes.gif ]
jackryan411
Wow, vanillapuf, great similarities...You rock! One thing that made me squee was in PoA when:

Pg. 366
"The man was short, barely taller than Harry and Hermione."

Harry and Hermione are the same height...I guess that puts and end to the talk about Harry being shorter than Hermione. heart.gif Plus, it was just weirdly cute.
KaiserDragon
I really love that cat. In any case, one of the reasons that I chose H/Hr was when I thought of H/Hr, I get this really nice feeling inside... biggrin.gif

Edited to remove some coments. ~Anazecria/Nielle
Tone
I always loved the pillow one and whenever someone said their name in the same sentence. I thought I was the only person who noticed these things! I also squee everytime Harry finds some reason to think of her... I'm just crazy that way thumbup.gif
Cara_de_Lua
don't you think that the cat could simbolize hermione's feelings? it always naughty to ron twisted.gif but very sweety to harry......... wub.gif
that cat loves harry as much as hermione..... blush.gif wub.gif
KaiserDragon
There's an old saying. "Keep a pet long enough, and they start to look like you." If Crookshanks like Harry, he could be emulating Hermione's feelings.

Also, Shippy moment!

QUOTE
Crookshanks wandered over to them, leapt lightly into an empty chair, and stared inscrutably at Harry, rather as Hermione might look if she knew they weren’t doing their homework properly.

They say we all start looking like our pets eventually but we see that Harry knows Hermione's facial expressions well enough to recognize them on her cat. He's got Hermione on his mind all the damn time! Why doesn't he just give to instincts?! thumbup.gif

Yay finally, a place were the little sentences that made me squeal are apreciated!! I've been re-reading GoF and I went wub.gif with:
Ch. 14 - "Been in the -"
"Library" Harry finished her sentence for her.
Ch. 19 - Hermione had come in for her fair share of unpleasantness too, but she hadn't yet started yelling at innocent bystanders: in fact, Harry was full of admiration for the way she was handling the situation.
For those who say that Ron shows his admiration frequently towards Hermione, they might be reading the wrong books... whistling.gif
And well, all that detailed description when Harry saw her in the Yule Ball heart.gif ... and everytime Harry grabbed her to protect her in OotP ... ohhhh I melt wub.gif
HarHermlove4ever
First, Lover your post is not stupid...do know what i think is stupid..my "stupid" answer about "little stupid H/herm moment:

"Harry and Hermione" their name sound like.and they both had H. What I learn about two same Letter on name like that. Two people can really get along or be friend for life. That is now Harr/herm are..."best of Lover"

In Book Ootp..Hermione is only one.who got Harry out of that bathroom. When he came back form MofMagic..about his name be clear, and nobody was talking to another Ron and ginny wasn't talking to Harry..and Harry wasn't talking to them. Why is it..that hermione is always the one...can make Harry do something without question or harsh word and Harry do the same Hermione.

Favorite Moments...hmm... loads. I'll pick a couple from each book

SS/PS

(Midnight Duel; chapt. 9)

"Excuse me."
They both looked uup. It was Hermione Granger.
"Can't a person eat in peace in this place?" said Ron.
Hermione ignore him and spoke to Harry...

<later>

"Malfoy tricked you," Hermione said to Harry. "You realize that, don't you? he was never going to meet you--Flich knew someone was going to be in the tophy room, Malfoy must have tipped him off."
Harry thought she was probably right, but he wasn't going to tell her that.

*Very cute* in an immature way of course, but still...it induces warm and fuzzy feelings

(Halloween chpt 10)

Harry suddenly grabbed Ron's arm.
"I've just thought---Hermione."
"what about her?"
"She doesn't know about the troll."
Ron bit his lip
"Oh, all right," he snapped. "But Percy'd better not see us."

Hermione Granger was shrinking against the wall opposite looking as if she was about to faint. The troll was advancing on her, knocking the sinks off the walls as it went.
"Confuse it!" Harry said desperately to Ron, and seizing a tap, he threw it as hard as he could against the wall. The troll stopped a few feet from Hermione. It lumbered around, blinking stupidly, to see what had made the noise. Its mean little eyes saw Harry. It hesitated, then made for him instead, lifting its club as it went. (175)

Most people don't notice this scene, but it is extremely important. Not only Harry first thought of Hermione, but he was also the first one that reacted. He was desperate and threw a tap at the troll. He drew the troll from Hermione to himself. He was willing to "sacrifice" himself for Hermione. It is very touching.

"Come on, run, run!" Harry yelled at Hermione, trying to pull her toward the door, but she couldn't move, she was still flat against the wall, her mouth open with terror. (175)

touching...touching...

*********
Hermione hung her head. Harry was speechless. Hermione was the last person to do anything against the rules, and here she was, pretending she had, to get them out of trouble.

<later>
"We should have gotten more than ten points," Ron grumbled.
"Five you mean, once she's taken off Hermione's."
"Good of her to get us out of trouble like like," Ron admitted. "Mind you, we did save her."
"She might not have needed saving if we hadn't locked the thing in with her," Harry reminded him.

Harry appreciated Hermione's efforts, while Ron still thought that she *should* have taken the blame. Harry then proceeded to defend Hermione. It was the first time Harry ever stood up for Hermione, to Ron, in fact, and to think, they weren't even friends then...

(chapt 16; through the trapdoor)

Hermione's lip trembled, and she suddenly dashed at Harry and threw her arms around him.
"Hermione!"
"Harry--you're a great wizard, you know."
"I'm not as good as you," said Harry, very embarrassed, as she let go of him.
"me!" said hermione. "Books! And Cleverness! There are more important things--friendship and bravery and--oh Harry--be careful!"

Completely squeal worthy moment...
*******
(The Man with two faces; chpt 17)

"D'you think he [Dumbledore] meant you to do it?" said Ron. "Sending you your father's cloak and everything?"
"Well," Hermione exploded, "if he did--I mean to say--that's terrible---you could have been killed." (302)

Seems like Hermione cares for Harry so much that she's even willing to criticize Dumbledore, whom, we all know, she admires very much.

CoS

(Chpt 13; the secret diary)

Hermione left the hospital wing, de-whiskered, tail-less, and fur-free, at the beginning of February. On her first evening back in the Gryffindor Tower, Harry showed her T.M. Riddle's diary and told her the story of how they had found it.
"oooh, it might have hidden powers," said Hermione enthusiastically, taking the diary and looking at it closely.
"If it has, it's hiding them very well," said Ron. "Maybe it's shy. I don't know why you don't chuck it, Harry."
"I wish I knew why someone did try to chuck it," said Harry. "I wouldn't mind knowing how Riddle got an award for special services to Hogwarts either.""Could've been anything," said Ron. "Maybe he got 30 O.W.Ls or saved a teacher from the giant squid. Maybe he murdered Mytle; that would've done everyone a favor...."
But Harry could tell from the arrested look on Hermione's face that she was thinking what he was thinking."
What?" said Ron, looking from one to the other.
"Well, the Chamber of secrets was opened fifty years ago, wasn't it?" he said. "That's what Malfoy said."
"yeah..." said Ron slowly.
"And this diary is fifty years old," said Hermione, tapping it excitedly.
"So?"
"Oh, Ron, wake up," snapped Hermione...(233)

Talk about mental connection...
*********

I've written too much.

I love PoA; the entire book, especially when Harry defends Hermione to Ron...awww
and also the time-turner adventure...

GoF
-walk around lake
-Hermione being worried about Harry
-Hermione + Harry spending a night working on summining charm
-Hermione clutching her face instead of Ron's arm
-Harry noticing Hermione in the Ball
-Harry defending Hermione to Pansy
-Hermione soothing Harry about the articles
-Harry and Hermione standing up to Rita Skeeter for Hagrid. Actually the incident is very interesting.

"Trying to ruin someone else's life?' said Harry loudly.
A few people looked around. Rita Skeeter's eyes widened behind her jeweled spectacles as she saw who had spoken.
"harry!" she said, beaming, "How lovely!"Why don't you come and join--?"
"I wouldn't come near you with a ten-foot broomstick," said Harry furiously. "What did you do that to Hagrid for, eh?"
...
Rita Skeeter's smile flckered very slightly, but she hitched it back almost at once; she snapped open her crocodile-skin handbag, pulled out her Quick-Quotes Quill, and said, "How about giving me an interview about the Hagrid you know, Harry? The man behind the muscles? Your unlikely friendship and reasons behind it. Would you call him a father substitute?"
Hermione stood up very abruptly, her butterbeer clutched in her hand as though it were a grenade.
"You horrible woman,' she said through gritted teeth, "you don't care, do you, anything for a story, and anyone will do, won't they? even Ludo Bagman---"
"Sit down, you silly girl, and don't talk about things you don't understand,' said Rita Skeeter coldly, her eyes hardening as they fell on Hermione. "i know things about Luda Bagman that would make your hair curl...not that it needs it---" she added eyeing hermione's bushy hair.
"Let's go," said Hermione, "c'mon, Harry--Ron..." (450-451)

This is interesting because at First, Rita and Harry were talking about Hagrid. Harry was furious at Rita. Then Rita suggested doing an article from Harry's POV, and Hermione stood up "very abruptly". Something prompted her to do that. Something stimulated her to stand up. The question is, who? Hermione likes Hagrid, but she was able to hold her anger in, but when Rita turns to Harry, Hermione explodes. Hermione was also angry, but her anger is caused by what? Rita's insults to Hagrid or Harry?
BTW, doesn't the last sentence seem weird? It's almost as if Hermione added Ron as an afterthought. tongue.gif

-Oooo, there's always the infamous cheek kiss...

how can they be so blind! cool.gif

she never complit a sentence when harry is around in a situation like that she gets all wacko.gif with him! lol

they're real funny and so cute wub.gif

hermione or harry gotta make a move thumbup.gif
jackryan411
Yup...so cute...they're so young but love always works out...I do think she was gonna say:

"Friendship and bravery and love."

She loooovvvvvvveeeeeeeeeessssssssssss him....sorry, I couldn't help it. Sigh...so many thing make me squee about H/Hr...hell, every time they're mentioned in the same sentence, I reread it once or twice to make sure I didn't miss any possible H/Hr moment.
HarHermlove4ever
hehhe...lol..see?..even pet-animal think..H/hr should end up together....not just HUMAN!!(talking about Crookshanks liking Harry)... biggrin.gif

yeh...I feel fuzzy-cubby-just to think...of H/hr. thumbup.gif
jackryan411
Yup...Crookshanks knows that Ron's a git when it comes to Hermione...he knows that Harry will treat her right. He knows what's best for his mistress---and right now, Dr. Crookshanks is recommending a strong dose of Harry.
HarHermlove4ever
and there is another "Stupid thing" that make me..H/Hr happy.

"H/hr wouldn't said a word...they just look at each other and just smile" i never read or see...R/H doing that.

"THEY LIKE EACH OTHER EVEN WHEN..THEY ARE ARGUEING " (from Ootp...when Harry told Hermione and Ron..about Sirius going to get killed) it was so adorable..how Harry trying agrue or beening mad at Hermione...and Hermione the same..but it didn't work. How..that what i called..."MAGICAL LOVE"

"They never get mad..or any negative feeling toward each other"

yeh..do you realise..that Harry/herm they never get mad or said anything stupid to each other in book or movie..or maybe Harry did...(from book 5) but Hermione never get mad...at him. She always calm Harry down..even though he is screaming his lung out...at her.
She even try to Help..him..afterward...whatever he want to do...or go.

I think..that is amazing...and adorable..

Lol, that is cute...anyway GoF made me squee (lol, so manly, eh?) because it just rocks...so many cute and fluffy H/Hr moments. (Sigh)...and most people didn't even see any of it because they were caught up with the angst of the Yule Ball. Oh well. Netspeak bugs the hell out of me...one person I converse with in e-mail that lives in Saudi Arabia talks in netspeak all the time and it's hard understanding anything she says.

It is the little things that matter...

-the yule ball (GoF)
-the ministry of magic (OotP)

and so many more...
there was one that I really loved and I can't remember it at the moment....

Hmmm...actually anytime I read any of the books and it talks about Hermione giving Harry some sort of look always makes me smile. It greatly has to do with my girlfriend, because I can always tell what she's thinking just they way she looks at me...you know, that unspoken connection sort of thing.

I really hated when Ron interupted the moments when Harry and Hermione were talking alone in PoA like when Harry told her he got his firebolt back and he asked if he could sit with her and he was worried about her. God I never wanted that conversation between them to end but Ron had to ruin the moment. Then after Harry wins the Quidditch match between Ravenclaw and asks Hermione if she came to the game (I thought that it was cute he asked like he was hoping she was there rooting for him) and asking her to eat some food and join him at the gryffindor party then Ron has to butt in that time and made Hermione cry. I think Ron was starting to annoy Harry and that is why he said to him "Can't you give her a break" It is a very good sign for Harry to stand up for Hermione even when he himself thought that Crookshanks ate Scabbers, don't you think?
I am glad that JKR made Ron do things on his own in the OotP and I hope it continues so Harry and Hermione can spend more time talking to each other alone.

Hear, hear! Ron's a good guy, but he can butt in the most beautiful H/Hr conversations...like this cute one in OotP where Harry tells Hermione quietly that she really doesn't want to see the thestrals and it's all somber and sweet, but Ron has to interrupt it. Sigh...I hope H/Hr can get some moments alone to talk.
Zanarkand
You never know...J.K. Rowling could have planned Harry and Hermione to end up together since book one, but doesn't want to deliver anything concrete to us until the very end...so it becomes Ron's official job to stop anything too sweet from happening. You know....they whole teaser thing where she builds us up and then knocks us down with a Red Herring (hehe...couldn't resist). HP & HP...that does sound really cute...Warner Bros can completely make that into some sort of insignia or something for future products. Hehe...the HP & HP towel set, pink for the "her" and blue for "him", both towels have "HP" written on them in caligraphy. If only we could copyright that...we'd make a fortune biggrin.gif.

"It takes courage to stand up to your enemies, but it takes a great deal more, to stand up to your friends." -- Dumbledore. (or something like that)

Harry defended Hermione to his best mate. Squee. 50 points to Gryffindor.

The best conversations get interrupted. I'm still annoyed that their conversation after meeting Grawp was interrupted by Ron winning the Cup. HOw dare Ron win when that conversation was definitely going somewhere?? whistling.gif tongue.gif

Oh yeah...she did. I now even remember reading that in an interview she did...hehe...I'm already forgetting stuff, must be kidding old or something. I'm just going to blame it on the stress...I finally start my first day of classes this year on Thursday. Kinda scary to say, but I'm kinda excited...but anyways...back on topic.
jackryan411
I think she's definitely been going for Harry and Hermione since Book 1...all those red hairings (lol) are definitely going to be one of the greatest coups of the HP series. I can't wait to see what everyone thinks when it does happen...she's the greatest author in the world. This part appealed to me as well:

They walked three times around the lake, trying all the way to think of a simple spell that would subdue a dragon.

Sigh...I can just imagine them holding hands and walking(even though that didn't happen)...major cuteness.
ponderingprefect
I also think that she's been H/Hr since the beginning or that's how I read it at least from the beginning. The whole Ron and Hermione thing threw me for a loop in GoF. But things that make me happy about H/Hr??? Hmm....can't think of the specific quote or page or anything b/c I lent my book to one of my good friends (dammit...I swear if she damages it at all... tongue.gif ) but I like the parts where they're all in Charms class together, especially in one particular lesson when they're trying to use...I can't remember what charm, sorry...but anyway, Harry and Hermione both had bullfrogs and Ron had a raven (now, does that mean something even deeper? I have feelings on that...but I won't say here). There was also another time where they had teacups. Ron's kept twitching until it collapsed and broke (clues to Cruciatus curse anyone?) Hermione's, however, was running neat circles around Harry's wub.gif but the legs of Harry's cup were too stubby to reach the desktop. Perhaps that last part is a clue that he just doesn't get it yet that Hermione likes him and that he likes her too, even though she's right there, running circles around him.

~Emily~
jackryan411
Yep that Teacup thing was definite symbolism...not to mention it was cute...I always thought of it as Hermione running around Harry, telling him to notice her for once, because she's right in front of him. But he's too stubby---stubborn---to reach the desk right now. I don't know about the bullfrogs thing...could you enlighten us maybe?

Join the club. I'm sure we've read some somewhere. However this is getting OT and there is a thread about reading NC-17 somewhere so back On Topic...

Remember when Harry finished his hearing and he was about to donate his money at the fountain. He thought of Hermione for no apparent reason... Just thought I should point that out.
Anazecria
I'm not sure on the Shippy-ness of the bullfrog scene, (I'd have to read it again, oh darn) but I believe it was being pointed out that while Harry and Hermione had bullfrogs, Ron had a raven, which can be considered a death omen. I don't like this though because he had swapped it with Hermione earlier. crying.gif

And Jack, I was also a young'un when I read my first NC-17, not as young as yourself, but I didn't have a computer at that age. twisted.gif And good luck with that girl!

K, let me take a stab at the frog thing. I didn't really have anything to back up my claim until now, because, I've been doing a little research. So here goes.

QUOTE
In ancient Egypt, the frog appears as a symbol of fertility, water, and renewal.

There's one thing...it's a little sketchy and I honestly cannot remember the context of the scene in the book, but if it was more Harry and Hermione centered then bam...the two of them are fertile...or if you want to look at a more wholesome perspective on it, then they are renewing their relationship into one of romantic love and not "friendly" love. I don't like saying that b/c everyone knows that the person you fall in love with should be your best friend and that's all I've ever heard from people I know who are married or are about to get married.

There then, of course, comes the popular tale of the Frog Prince. We all know the story right? Princess meets ugly frog, he asks her to kiss him, she does he becomes a handsome prince. It might be a subconscious message that Harry and Hermione need to take note of. They need to take a leap of faith to discover their love in each other so that it can finally be revealed.

Those are some of the ways that you could read the bullfrogs. Let me know what you think.

Here is the source I went to for research on the subject:

Hmmm...according Native Americans, an owl is considered to a death omen. Hehe...don't know why I brought that up...just thought it was interesting cause Harry has Hedwig...but Ron has Pigwidgeon. Oh I don't know...my brain shut off two threads ago.

I have heard this, and keep this in mind when I am watching Twin Peaks for the umpteenth time (damn fine coffee!). But seeing the way Owls are used in JKR's world, I don't see them as death omens. Although in some cultures the colour white is a symbol for death, too. And Hedwig is a snowy owl. smile.gif

Everyone praises me so much and gives me a wish for good luck with Katie so much...I'm beginning to wonder if they're isn't some sort of "Praise Jack for a Week' thing going on...

*hides the "Praise Jack" memo she received last week* Ahem....kidding! We are just very loving people here at Portkey. smile.gif

Innuendo Side: Of course you can! I think it's called Deputy Mayor? Here are your robes. *passes Aramas his robes*

Logical Side: So, were the bullfrogs Shippy? *looks back at the passage*

Well, Harry uses the Accio charm Hermione taught him on the frog; then gets mad later and Hermione points out he's squashing his frog (Innuendo has a few things to say about THAT).

Then there is an instance of Harry finishing Hermione's sentence; Harry gets mad again and accidently inflates the frog (Innuendo, No!) and it starts to make a whistling noise. Hermione deflates and silences the frog (*Logical kicks Innuendo really hard*).

Then Ron has trouble performing -- OW! (Innuendo, I'm trying to stay on-topic! It's not like that!) the Silencing Charm, you sick people. Anyways, Hermione, not for the first time, tell's Ron it's the way he's moving his wand -- er -- *looks at Innuendo, who is grinning at Logical* *Logical shakes head* she says to jab it, not wave it. Oh dear.

Ron claims ravens are harder than frogs. *pause* Hermione and Ron swap animals. Hermione performs her charm flawlessy. *blinks* Flitwick tells Ron to try again, and becomes flustered and overestimates his jabbing motion *smacks forehead* and pokes the frog in the eye.

Erm... oh dear. I need a cold, cold, shower. Why was I looking at that passage again?

Innuendo Side: Thats twice I've been wondering what I'm doing here Logical. You seem to be thinking all the stuff I say. thumbup.gif Anyway, I don't know if there were any Shippy moments there, but there are definitely moments. twisted.gif

Shippy Side: Well, there is a definite sentence finishing moment there. Also, I think any time Harry uses Accio (Summoning Charm) is a Shippy moment. So there are possibly two Shippy things in that passage. I'm not sure Logical had to go into so much detail though. Innuendo, I think you're breaking her. tongue.gif

Also, this scene reminds me a lot of First Year, with the levitating charm. Hermione could do it, Ron couldn't, Ron gets annoyed, Flitwick praises Hermione. there are a lot of similarities. Is JKR trying to say something? Perhaps the relationship between Ron and Hermione hasn't changed since first year? Oh that just makes me wanna squee. I'm glad Logical's having a shower so I can bask in this for awhile. thumbup.gif

Innuendo Side: Shippy, I think Ron failing to perform twice counts as a Shippy moment. user posted image

Yay! I'm deputy! *Takes Robes* Alright then!

You're post is really funny Nielle. Think you could lock the logical side in the bathroom now?

You might have a point about Ron and Hermione's relationship here... Now that I think about it, it really hasn't changed since first year, while Harry and Hermione are developing quite well. (In more ways than one whistling.gif )

I'm never going to look at a bullfrog the same way again. *shakes head* Aramas, Why lock Logical in a bathroom? That whole passage was Logical's interpretation. Innuendo's already seeping into her brain. twisted.gif Millie, *innocent* it's not my fault, I was just summarising a passage from the book! I can't help it if JKR wrote a very, er, suggestive passage. innocent.gif *grin* Blame JKR!

On Topic: Seriously, when I first read OotP, there were a few scenes where I was thinking, "We've been here before, this is like First year all over again, but darker". This particular scene is just one of them. I think JKR does want you to compare this scene (OotP, Chapter 18) with the scene is PS/SS (Chapter 10), so we can see how things have changed, (or not) in five years. The Wingardium Leviosa scene happened before the trio even became friends! Five years later, when things are a lot more serious, put them in a similar situation, and Ron and Hermione behave in the same way they did then. Ron and Hermione's relationship (boy that phrase was hard to type) has hardly changed since they first met. and there are people who think they are going to get together?

The only difference between these scenes is Harry's presence. In first year, he was watching from across the room (why weren't you concentrating on your feather, Harry?), in Fifth year, he is right there participating, and while Hermione is mostly talking to Harry, Hermione and Ron still treat each other the same way, 5 years later, whether Harry is there or not!

Whoa boy. I didn't expect to rant so much. See, I can be on-topic! thumbup.gif

sad.gif This is very sad, and very off topic... (never thought I'd hear the day when I'd say that...)

Harry/Hermione ::happy sigh::

I'm looking forward to the movie for the whole clingy scene... even if it's only for a couple of seconds... even if it's only one second... even if it's just a mere flash across the screen... everyone will still get the fright of their lives, cos I'll sit there and I'll squee really really loudly...

They also have to have that scene where Harry breaks down Hermione's barriers ...........................................................................................................
