I really hope Harry and Hermione survive, along with Ron, Hagrid, McGonnical (hard name), Snape (am I crazy), Mad-Eye, the shapeshifting auror whose name forgets me at this time, Remus, Seamus, Ginny, that big black auror, the rest of the Weasleys, Lee, Dean, Neville, Luna, and even Draco, just so he can see that dark is dead and his nemesis has triumphed, or maybe b/c he'll change, which I doubt. (Gotta please the Ginny/Draco shippers out there)

However, I do think the actual survivor list will be much shorter than that. Unlike most people, my supposed outcome of the book isn't all that happy....but if H/H survive, there will always be at least a little good in the world.

I hope it's a different world than my little ficcie I made just for yu a page or two back....</shameless plug>

I small (very small) part of me does not want to have a H/H ship at the end of the book so I can read AU fanfiction all my life and debate why H/H would have worked out better than R/H. But then the larger part of my body that does want H/H would sodomize some sense back into myself. (I will continue to say sodomy as much as I like:P)

Let's all wait and see what JKR does, and then act accordingly. If picketing is necessary, then so be it. I always (didn't) wanted to go to England.

Anyway, about their first kiss. As much as I like the idea of the lake, I'd much rather it happen while the two are fighting over something, like maybe a secret Harry is keeping from everyone. They would fight until suddenly WHAM! Harry (or Hermione) just leans forward and they lock lips. It would be completely unexpected and a way for JKR to knock the socks right off of us
