i have to agree good theory max, whoever you are....anyway.... Hermione and Harry would just look great together... I mean even before i haven't seen the movie... i had the picture of the two of them.... the movie made it sink in better because i guess emma and dan look good together but i don't ship real people because i think they're better off to decide for themselves... Forget just kissing! JKR should just write an entire series of books that give you a sort of voyeuristic look at what they do when the lights turn low... or maybe I'm just a hentai (Yay japanese!).

But seriously, considering Harry Potter's perceived kiddie book status (which is entirely undeserved--its going to get as bloody as hell) JK may feel obligated to cut the kissing scenes down to just a few pecks on the lips for the sake of not alienating everyone. But, once again, who knows?

i thnk it would happen like this....harry would be sitting in the common room thinking that every thing is his fault once agen and then hermione comes down to comfort him. they talk n harry suddenly realizes how beautiful hermione is. then he leans in to kiss her while she is in the middle of saying sumthing to harry. then she feels suprised but then settles into the kiss. then they stop kissing n look into eachothers eyes and kiss over n over agen..

I think they'd kiss. Cho kissed Harry didn't she?! Course' that was faded out... Not that I care really. But Harry finally getting with Hermione! They have to kiss! (At the very least) It'd help cement their relationship and it'd be so cute!!

how about this..for H/Hr first kiss..

Harry and Hermione were talking alone together in Hall at midnight, they were head boy and Head girl..because they are at their 7th year already at Hogwarts. Anyway..while they were walking in sclience..with beautiful moonlight shine on them, all of sudden they heard horrible noise. Hermione thought it was death eater or whoever going to kill HER HARRY in her mind, she all of sudden drags...or yank Harry's arm..and pull him into near by dark-adandon room. They both ran into that room..and Hermione close or lock it with her wand. Their both turn around look at the room, they were in...bloom closet. ...Harry turn to Hermione asked what are..wee??...Hermione told him to "stup-up" and asked him to KISS HER because she be planning for age..to kiss this "boys-who-lived-who-never-let-her-kiss-him-in-public-because-they-were-best-friend kind of thing"

My envisionment would be Harry either badly hurt (after a Quidditch game or a Deatheater ambush, etc) and Hermione kisses him in grief of never telling him he loved him, or, on the eve of stting off to do Voldemort, Harry says his goodbyes to Ron, his friends from his dorm, and maybe Ginny, then works up the courage to tell Hermione he loves her. It would suprise Hermione, of course, bu also thrill her because of the unrequited (sp) love she holds for him. Then they'd kiss for a long time. Kissy kissy smooch smooch. And he'd be off. I don't think Harry could sweet talk her into it though...
