This is I guess a branch off the optomism thread...but just for us members of the Faithfuls....to gush about the possiblity of HHR, help calm each other's worries and nerves, talk about everything we want to happen...so, old members of fandom spread your hearts onto the threads one last time!!! All you shippers that never talked before or always just lurked, time's running out--get to talking and supporting HHR in these last hours...because guys, there's less than a day left!!!

I totally believe in h/hr, remember if we get r/hr at the start its not the end of the world we could easily get h/hr at the end or in the middle, wherever, the amazing thing is JKR could change the entire shipping side of the book with just ONE sentence! if you really think about it, one sentence could change everything. So my one piece of advice to all my fellow harmony lovers. Its not over till we read the last line of the last page of that book!

Does anyone remember that friends episode when Chandler and Joey first get those lazy boy chairs and they don't get up from in front of the TV for like two days...LOL...that's going to be me and my cousin this weekend with this book..LOL...she's insisting that we just read it at the same time in the same room so that way we aren't calling or texting each other all night long to talk about it...LOL...

My cousin is funny she was a Good Shipper (...LOL...does anyone even call them that anymore?) at one time...way back when she was like 8 or 9...LOL...but then as she got older was like...wha?! no...it should be H/Hr, I really Want it to be H/Hr!...LOL...We can even remember all those years ago after I finished the 1st book talking about how I liked how cute Harry and Hermione were...and how she was like well I like Ron and Hermione...LOL...and I was just I don't know...this ladies going to have to make me like Ron a bit more....LOL...but who knows maybe by the time it's over I'll like it....LOL Well...that time is here...and nope JKR hasn't given me reason enough to like anything but H/Hr...LOL...

Today I woke up with a strange feeling...not really one that said I think it'll go one way or another...but one that said no matter what way it does go I'll be able to find joy in it...and I'll glad to have the whole story. My first thought was...I'm READY....lol...

So all morning I was getting ready while doing my Sponge Bob impression..."I'm READY"...*hop in the shower*..."I'm ready"...*get dressed*..."I'm ready...I'm ready"...*get socks on*..."I'm ready"...*fall over cause I lost my balance while getting on the right one*...."OUCH! I'm Ready"....*brush teeth*..."I'm"....*brush*..."Ready"....*spit*..."I'm ready"...*walks over to the door*..."I'm....I'M NOT READY WHAT WAS I THINKING I’M NOT READY AT ALL!!! THIS CAN'T BE THE LAST ONE IT JUST CAN'T!!!!!!"

And that basically was my midmorning melt down...LOL...but I have since gathered all my positive energy and have been focusing on the fact that it will soon be over and I will once again be able to laugh...whether or not I'll be laughing with JKR or what...I'll be able to laugh either way...and that is always a good thing!

I don’t think any of the Harry Potter fandom would be able to disagree. Most of us have been loyal fans since the beginning.

I seriously doubt that Jo knew what she was getting herself into. Did she know how many people would read her books? Did she know that her books would create this wonderful and horrible mini-world called the hp fandom? Jo made it so easy for us to say hello to Harry. So easy to say hello to him and fall in love with him; and the books and the characters. It’s so easy to say hello. It takes less than a second. It’ll be the saying goodbye that will be the hard part. Saying goodbye is something that takes much longer to do, maybe even forever.

Did we know what we were getting ourselves into? I have made some amazing friends in this fandom. And as for this ship… if HMS Pumpkin Pie doesn’t sail in DH, can we ever really sink as long as we stay devoted? It’s like Harry said about Dumbledore, “He will only be gone from the school when none here are loyal to him.” And truer words were never spoken (or written). Can our ship really sink? Only if we let it. We will not sink. Not if I can help it anyway. However, if the ship must go under, I will go down with it. Whether it be tomorrow, or in 20 years.. I’m with this vessel until the dang thing descends into nothingness. Personally I'm not good with goodbyes. So I'm avoiding it until I must.

This is me saying goodbye for now, I'll try to be on later. But my parents, lil bro, and I are off to somewhere....my dad refuses to tell me. *ugh* I wish I could express to you guys what you all mean to me! I mean. I started reading HP in the second grade which was....7 years ago. I'm a freshman now. and...I never thought that I'd love something so simple... When everyone else was shipping R/Hr. I was shipping H/Hr. The sad part is that I didn't find this site out until a little bit before HBP. I wish I would've found it sooner.

I just want to thank everyone for being a part of The Faithfuls, and thanks to everyone who applauded the banner. I'll try to make some more of them afterwards...when hopefully our ship sails into the sunset and everything goes our way for once.

I am on edge with everyone else...so much so that I don't think I can say goodbye enough times. Whatever happens--whether we are the ones vindicated or the ones disappointed--I have loved H/Hr and Portkey. I will never give up the ship. I just don't know if I can survive the next 48 hours before I'm acutally ABLE to sit down and start reading. I want to savor the experience, but I fear I may sit down and not get up until I am red-eyed from crying and sleep-deprivation.

To Harry and Hermione: One of the greatest love stories ever told

It has been an amazing ride and now it's almost over. But this isn't good-bye. As long as there are people who will read and reread Harry Potter, it will never be gone.

Every shipper here is amazing. We have had one wild ride and we have all hung on. I can't wait to talk to you all after we have read DH. We'll have the biggest celebration party the sea has ever seen.

Well I guess this is my goodbye from the internet until I've finished reading the book. I'll most definitely find my way back here to Portkey once this is through. It's almost over and I still need to wait another 8 hours, but getting off now is a good idea.

I hope to see all of yall after this crazyness is over and we can celebrate H/Hr goodness no matter where it comes from.

35 minutes till midnight here. My friend Nora is from Germany, an hour ahead of me, and will be standing in line right now. I'm just staring at MSN constantly waiting for her to sign in. When she does I may pee myself/scream/faint or possibly all three.

My head's all over the place honestly. I don't know how to feel. I'm totally hyper really, every sense is heightened, like I'm on a buzz from some kind of drug.

Just think, years from now we'll be able to tell our kids and grandkids that we lived the HP experience as it happened. I'm so proud to be able to say that.

I'm gonna be honest with you. Many of us got turned off by the negativity in the forums. I personally thought I needed to get away.

I checked in every once in a while to see what the negativity levels were. It's only now beginning to go down, I think. The haters tired out, finally.

I can post the URL for anyone who wants to have a go at one Hehe. And The Harmony shippers for some unknown reason have disappeared except for apparently, most of the 'The Faithfuls' members. Heh. Imagine that. Anyway. I shall go post some more...

Mmm..I hadn't spotted this thread before. Good to see some positive people are around these days. I honestly wasn't that crushed when I read DH. I just distracted myself with music and other activities. Good fanfiction always helps.

Keep it up Faithfuls. The best part of H/Hr is just beginning...smutty fandom here we come!!!! Wink, wink.

I understand why H/Hr shippers are in the dark. It's been two weeks since the release of book7. Even I STILL have a hard time comprehending on what had happened. Please don't think that I'm unfaithful now when I say I thought of converting to R/Hr and just give up. WAIT, WAIT! Before you argue about my stupid thought, I did manage to find three reasons why I still ship H/Hr after all what happened, they are:

1. Since we shipped H/Hr, we believe that the love in the HP books were more influenced on solidarity, trust, and LOYALTY. Why can't we possess the traits that Harry and Hermione show to each other?

2. After long years of sailing with H/Hr, it would be very difficult to board on a new ship. Whatever ship we chose to convert to, deep down we know that we will no longer have the same thrill not like when reading Harmony fanfics or browsing on Pumpkin pie fanarts. To be honest, the new ship is not what we originally believed in. You wouldn't want to ride on a ship that you don't find enjoyable to ride in. As long as you guys won't give in, it gives me have the courage that I won't either!

3. Our ship isn't and will never be sinking or sink. ONLY IF...the passengers on board abandon it. What does DH have that made a bigger impact on us than the other books? Unlike the other books where we can still hope for H/Hr to happen, is it because it's the last book and it didn't exactly happen? In my opinion I'm glad the book ended. Please don't misinterpret, I wasn't fond of the ship that happened. Although, since J.K.R isn't writing anymore Hp books, that means the future of Harry Potter is now in our hands. And, we choose to end it the way it's suppose to end like, our way, the H/Hr way!

ooohhhh... I also like that 2.0 one... weeeeee!!!!

Forever faithful! I got a bit depressed after DH but I'm up and running again... thanks to all those wonderful fanfictions. It's our duty to keep H/Hr sailing.
