What will you do if/when Harry/Hermione is canon ?

I plan to change all the portkey page titles with "H/HR is Canon". Aside from that rather odd idea, I can't think of what else I should be doing. Anyone have any idea what they will be doing ?

Gosh, I don't know what I'll do... probably squee like mad and do a happy dance.

I'll sure as hell watch Mugglenet implode while eating popcorn. Should be fun.

I'll jump for joy and shout "YES!" very loudly first, then I'll be unable to stop myself from posting a very big "I-Told-You-So" message in my livejournal, mostly for my sister's benefit as she's a R/Hr shipper

TLC too. Remember Melissa was part of that interview. Emerson will get annoyed for ever. Man will the be mad at Jo. well I'll go eat some chocolate in front of H/G fans go fight with one of my guy friends in front of herons. Just rub it in their faces. and at their theories.

First of all, a sigh of relief.

Secondly, I would try to get all the versions of DH. American/British cover, deluxe/regular/adult-edition art, hardcover/paperback, and all combinations of them.

Don´t forget all the different languages!

I'll go celebrate in LJ, first. Then I'll drop by here and make my apologies, because heck, I never was the most optimistic HHr shipper. I'd be shouting across this boards that I was wrong, and so it's time to party.

AND THEN, I'll count the days to the seventh movie while writing a bunch of angsty fanfic.

Would different languages have different covers? I know the Japanese for sure has different covers, but I'm not sure about the others.

If it is so, it would be tough though for me getting the books, since I don't know nary any other languages from English apart from maybe French, which I know a bit of (at least enough to navigate through the finding/ordering/shipping process).

Diffrent publishing companies have diffrent artists who makes the front page.

I'll probably jump around in my room like a lunatic until someone hits me with a very large something that will calm me down. Then I'll go watch Mugglenet crumble.

And then I'll go to Portkey to join the celebrations.

And probably make myself a t-shirt that says "Harmony is canon!"

Hmmm not sure what I will do if H/Hr is canon. I wouldn't mind getting an avatar saying "I was right, you were wrong...H/Hr forever" (or something like that)
But it would probably be great fun to watch mugglenet and other R/Hr and G/H sites crumble to the ground.

Some have the US cover but i their language, like Brazil and Vietnam. But most editions have their own cover.

If H/Hr happens i'll play We Are The Champions at full volume while jumping up and down

Then I'll go to Mugglenet and Leaky Cauldron to see Memerson and the other girl's faces.

And in the end i'll come celebrate in Portkey and all the Harmony sites

You know, if H/Hr becomes canon, I don't expect we'll see much reaction from the Mugglenet and TLC leadership. Maybe from Melissa as she is somewhat more inclined to being politically correct, but Emerson doesn't strike me as the type to really apologize. I mean, look at his heavily backhanded apology in the wake of the "delusional" debacle. If we get a reaction from him, it'll be along those lines...without an ounce of sincerity. Admittedly though, I'd love to see him try to backpedal his way out of the situation. He's stuck his neck out there so far that he's either right (and will continue to gloat accordingly) or he'll get it lopped off. I'm hoping for the latter.

As for me, I'll smile smugly to myself at being validated after all these years then go back and reread, do a little analysis here and there, peruse the forums and such, and generally just enjoy the afterglow. I must admit, there is one person I will rib to death for "losing the faith," but that'll be done on a personal level via e-mail. She'll never hear the end of it.

First I would scream then run around the house shouting H/HR slogans with the book in my hand. After that, I would read the book three more times to read all the H/Hr moments again.

However. I don't think I could find it in my heart to rub H/Hr in the noses of those at Mugglenet or wherever. That's one of the promises I made with myself, that if H/Hr happens I will not be an ass about it as R/Hr shippers are bound to be. I find more satisfaction in Herons learning their lesson without us chasing them out of fandom.

I wouldn't rub it in anyone's face, either (well, maybe Memerson...). I'd read what they say, but I wouldn't ever post on their boards.

I would call my cousin and tell him that I knew it was possible. Recently we were having an argument about it. He loved R/Hr and H/G. We spent the entire ride from the movies arguing about it.

I defended my ship pretty well.

The next thing would be that I would hug the book, thank JKR wherever she is and put it somewhere safe so that anytime I want to see the Harmony moment, I could.

I will be absolutely ecstatic if H/Hr is canon, but I'm entirely sure if I'll be able to rub it in R/Hr and H/G shippers faces, but I will gladly send over a pumpkin pie as a peace offering/gloating piece. Maybe Melissa and Emerson can each have their own...I might want to be generous and let them each have one to themselves, you know?

It´s funny how diffrent views on the shipping, in a fictional book, can cause so much contradiction and anger between two groups (one hopelessly outnumbered xD).

i think there's another one like this under hhr forum.

anyway the first thing probably i will do (something that i cannot help) is CRY. cry because of happiness that my ship happened!

second would be, i'll run around the house screaming OMG!

then imana go online, party here at portkey then i will change my profile in lj, myspace, friendster, and multiply then send a bulletin board message to everyone and make a blog about how happy and ecstatic i am that hhr is canon!

last thing i will do is visit all the forums that bashed my ship! well i wouldn't really rub it in their faces but i would definitely say, 'THANKS FOR NOT SHIPPING AND BELIEVING MY SHIP BECAUSE I'M HAPPY YOU'RE NOT AS HAPPY AS WE ARE IN MY SHIP RIGHT NOW!" but i don't know. i might still rub it in the face of that ONE stupid choco who belittled hhr's relationship right in front of me! i dunno if i would still post on mugglenet and tlc. i will probably just read their posts. watever all i know is that i will be here on portkey celebrating!

Well, if Harmony is cannon there are four possible reactions I will have:

A.) I will scream.

OR

B.) I will stare straight ahead with a goofy smile on my face.

OR

C.) I will re-read each Harmony scene again... and again... and again... and (well, you know the rest)...

OR

D.) All of the above, continually in quick and random succession.

So, it would probably look like this:

When i read Harmony in canon in DH I'll scream and shout and go a bit mental. Then I'll get arrested for scaring the other passengers as I'll be in the air over France at about that time. That is, of course, assuming I can buy an English version of the book in Barcelona, if not and I'll have to hope I've learnt enough Spanish to get the gist. For example:

Harry: Donde esta la Horcruxe?

Hermione: Lo tengo pero no lo necessito a hora.

or something like that...

Cry tears of joy. Then rub it in (nicely) to all my heron and choco friends.

If you can't get hold of an English version of book 7 in Barcelona, then pick up the Spanish version and go to the end of the book. If you read the following, or something very close to it, then you will know that Harry and Hermione are a couple!

Scene: Harry has just killed Voldemort - reducing him to a puddle of tarry soot - and he rushes out the room searching for Hermione ...

Harry: (gritando) Hermione, donde estas?!

Hermione: Aqui Harry!

Harry: (abrazando a Hermione) Gracias a Dios que estas bien, crea que estabas muerta!

Hermione: Ay Harry! (Spanish for "Oh Harry") No estuve a tu lado cuando me necessitabas mas. Perdoname amor!

I don't have my copy of the books right now, but i think the Oh Harry translation it's still Oh Harry

wow what will i do?...just thinking about reading it in canon gives me butterflies ...Harry and Hermione has been written so beautifully up till now...and to finally read it in canon...*signs*...

so i have pondered on what i might possibly do...first of all i might read the whole passage over a couple of times...then run out and find my my sister and just tell her "I WAS RIGHT!" but wont give away anything because i have suceeded to turn her into a H/Hr shipper (even thought she wont read the books because she says there's only room for one HP fanatic in the family and i have taken that spot )...i wont have anyone to say "i told you so" to since everybody i know pretty much ship H/Hr or dont ship at all and boy are we gonna have a party when it happens...but before the impulsive partying i'll finish reading DH and i will probably surf some heron and choco sites and read a couple of their reactions because i know i would be curious...but one thing for sure if H/Hr happens i will love the HP series so much more then i do now if that even is possible

Well, first and foremost, I'd squee so much that my parents would probably wonder about my sanity. Then I would do what I've been waiting to do for several years now: light my pumpkin candle. I'd been hanging onto that thing with the hopes that H/Hr will happen. After that, immediately begin rereading DH. I'll try not to rub it in anybody's faces, but I may not be able to resist mentioning it to my supervisor because she insists that it's OBHWF all the way. Oh, won't she be shocked if H/Hr happens.

First I'll read the scene over and over again and then I'll start screaming like crazy. Then I'll run around the house yelling "Ha! I was right!"until ma parents stop me and finally get online here at PK and celebrate and then go to the R/Hr, G/H sites to see how they are coping with the good news

Yeah my parents will be like Katie shut up. and then tell my stupid heron of a sister that like always i am right. Then I will go to heron and choco sites and be like yep anvil sized hints.

And when the euphoria finally wanes enough to where I stop squee-ing and jumping up and down on furniture I will call all my other friends that read HP. All are HERONs. I will calmly say: 'I guess those anvils hit your head harder than you thought. Obviously they caused you to have some DELUSIONS.'

Then I will come here and celebrate with my favorite site and HPfans till we pass out.

And, er... mayhaps I'll drop a like to Memerson. Nothing too ostentatious, just a little friendly thank you for NOT being part of my fandom and a suggestion that perhaps they should refund all those poor people's money that wasted their time with 'The Book That Shall Not Be Named'. Oh and I suppose I'll make some time in my celebration to kick back and watch MUGGLENET implode upon itself.

BWAHAHAHAHA. I just had a vision of when all the HERONs, CHOCOs, and ORANGE CRUSHes read the HARMONY ending if it does happen in cannon. It'll be like the scene from 'Star Wars':"I felt a great disturbance in the Fandom, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something improbable to their minds has happened."

I will call my brother and rub it in his face!!!! He makes fun of me for shipping H/Hr and he and I go back and forth inventing theories of what will happen to make our ship work. So if/when H/Hr happens, I think I might just have to fly to Vegas to personally shove the Cannon in his face

And then of course I will have to talk to my very die-hard R/HR friend and gloat at her

LOL! I'll reread the scene where H/Hr becomes canon over and over again, just to make sure I haven't missed anything, and then the internal partying will begin! I'll run into my sister's room and tell her the good news (she's a Harmonian too, but she likes to take her time to read and loves spoilers). I'll celebrate on Portkey with y'all, and when I run into my Heron friends...well, they asked for it, with those smirks and "didn't you read the interview?"s.

It is a ship name I heard years ago for H/G fans. I found it saddly appropriate. I mean with Ginny being the clingy and jealous type I'm absoutly sure she'd crush Harry in much the same way her mother does everyone. Of course it was probably termed b/c Ginny had a crush on Harry and she obviously has orange hair. But whatever, I like my explaination for it better.

And please do join in, the more the merrier as far as I'm concerned. I plan on bringing marshmellows and s'more fixings to the bonfire. I mean what's a ship celebration without other HARMONIANs to share it with and copious amounts of firey sugar?

I shall celebrate by writing something s.mutty.

1. Have a nice orange color in my nails for 2 weeks or maybe longer, who knows =))

2. Make new designs for my sig/ava/blog with the text "DELUSIONAL WINS"

3. Change the banner of my HP's fan site to a scene of Harmony wedding. Would be a great chance for manip, lolz

3. Call my three best friends (all of them are Herons) and say "told you so" ^^

4. Visit mugglenutters and TLC to see their reactions :"> would be fun to see they crying out loud and accuse Jo for lying to them =))

5. Visit all Harmony sites and have parties with all my fellow Harmonians. Eating pumpkin pie together. lolz

I will probably do a happy dance and then go to Portkey and the other Harmony sites and find "server too busy" messages!

Later, I will listen to Pottercast and smile with glee while Melissa whines that "Jo lied" about OBHWF and how could she have done that? She is so smug and sure that Harry will marry Ginny and have babies (ew!) at the end of HP, so I cannot wait to hear her reaction.

More than likely, I will be able to finish reading the book before my sister does. She told me not to do anything when H/Hr happens until she has finished reading so not to spoil the moment for her . So I will be celebrating silently at first maybe, just cover my face with my pillow to muffle my scream and silently dance around my room.
When she's done, then, we both can celebrate loudly and visit Portkey and other Harmony sites of course to party with all of you.

If, and that's a big IF, Harmony sails I'll probably do a few things.

1. Stare at the page in shock.
2. Yell so that my momma can look at me like I'm crazy as she usually does.
3. Skip around the house and drink to Harmony's sailing.
4. Come on here and party and chat with everyone.
5. Watch the anger of Mugglenet explode into an inferno.
6. Pass out from joy.

After reading I would:

Rub my eyes and blink a couple of times to make sure that I'm not going 'delusional'...lol (Reading one too many H/Hr FF's can do that to you..)

Then, I would buy a pumpkin pie at the local grocery store and indulge in it's sweet, sweet pumpkin-y goodness, while watching the HP movies for the hundredth time.

I've said this before but I'd go to Mugglenet and see how long it takes to get banned

I will grin like an idiot, giggle - a lot - probably do a weird little jig around my room, and even clap my hands. Then, of course, I'll have to come here and celebrate the Harmony goodness of it all. Finally when my brother and sisters have finished reading the book, I'll give them a very hearty "I told you so." It's going to be quite a night, I can tell already!

I seriously think I would cry for joy. At the end of this book, no matter what happens, I will end up in tears, for whatever reason. But if H/Hr happens, it'll be tears of joy. I would be completely astonished and I would sit there for about 10 minutes just staring so utterly happy I won't know what to do with myself. Then I'll scream for joy and jump around. Then I'll call my friend from across the country and we'll celebrate together over the phone. Then I will come here and we will party like there's no tomorrow.

I'll just scream and scream and scream and whee for three weeks straight. Laugh in classes out of nowhere, and explode in giggles all time...
LOL, technically, go crazy as my mom has predicted for the last 8 years...
