Altruistic and absolute are my two favorite words to describe H/Hr. Their relationship is so many things. Compassionate, loyal, honest, trusting and mature that I can't simply find a better word.

LOYAL/LOYALTY
i feel that they're a most loyal to each other. harry listens to hermione the most. she is his conscience because he's loyal to what she says. hermione on her loyalty to harry, well even if it means taking her life, she will be with him (DoM), and even worst getting an expulsion (she stood up for him against umbridge; not to mention the gazillion school rules that they break).

Mine is three words but it's Hero and Heroine because when I was little I always thought that H/Hr would be together becaue they where the Hero and Heroine, it just made sense.
And unlike H/G which is more of a damsel in distress relationship Harry and Hermione are equal (which is another word I don't know if it's been mentioned.) they help each other out and save one another.
One isn't always having to do the saving which gets tiring after awhile.
