just because Draco couldn't pull the trigger himself doesnt mean he doesn't want Voldemort to win.

That's debatable given Draco's current situation. I'm not saying you're wrong; you very well could be right. I'm saying that there is a high possibility that Draco might change his mind about that. Though I doubt he would ever, ever join sides with Harry full-heartedly or at all, for that matter- Draco has NOTHING to gain from siding with Voldemort right now.

Overall- Draco is just a boy. He's afraid, and he's alone. He was sent on a suicide mission for the sins of his father. He has no one to trust save his mother and perhaps Snape, because the very people he was taught was his family put him in a situation where he would very likely die.

Why would he want to stay there if he wants to survive?

QUOTE
When Draco was sad and crying it was because he believed he would fail and die not that he was asked to do something wrong. in six books we have never seen Draco do anything remotely good in nature.

This I full-heartedly disagree with. Draco's "good nature" is a very touchy subject, considering we only ever see him around people he hates.

However, when he's around those he loves- say his father or his mother or his friends- he is a different person towards them. Take the first scene we see Draco in in HBP- he's with his mother and he defends her. He defends his father at the end of OotP. He clearly cares for the people who matter to him, and them to him. His mother sends him care packages frequently.

QUOTE
He even revelled in the fact that someone died by the actions he did to let deatheaters into the school.

He revelled and boasted in many things in HBP, I'll give you that. Somewhat nervously and without resolve. He never expressed satisfaction over Dumbledore's death, however. He was quite shocked and unable to even do it himself. So we don't really know how he feels about it.

QUOTE
If Draco and Ginny get together I imagine it will be years later and both of them will be that somewhere in between good and evil. Draco the stuck up aristocrat and Ginny the harsh and manipulative quidditch star.

I agree there has to be a middle ground for both Ginny and Draco to get together. HBP definitely sets that stage.

I certainly think Ginny could turn evil. Honestly, you have to think about Tom. Sure it was a mere memory but if Voldemort's memory could posses Ginny into controling the monster in the Chamber, think of what he can do now that is alive and in full power. I certainly think it is a possibilty; especially with the way J.K. feels the sever need to make the recent books a bit darker and heavier than the first few. If she can kill of...characters (don't want to spoil it in case anyone hasn't read the sixth book) Than why can't she turn Ginny against everything? I think that since Tom possed Ginny, Voldemort could have a special interest in her and if that happens to be the case, Ginny may have a dark dark path ahead of her. You never know with Jk; her next move is unpredictable but she has a whole book left to make things as twisted as humanly possible...horay! ^.^

I agree completely. The fact that Tom was able to posses Ginny through the diary and how she fell under his control is one of the reasons I think Ginny turning dark is possible. Ginny seems like the type of person who doesn’t walk to be ignored and treated like a little girl, not saying she will become a DE to get power but, I think Tom will be able to coax her into thinking his way again.
Wow, long run-on sentence.
