Hello...again. I was wondering if anyone had any scenes from a movie that they would love to see happen with h/hr? Two scenes I would love to see happen with h/hr would be In Titanic. The first one being when Rose jumps off the boat and runs to Jack. Imagine Hermione not wanting to leave Harry while Voldemort and the Death Eaters are running about causing havoc...even when harry tries to make her leave so she can be safe. The second scene being the end of Titanic, where Rose and Jack get married in heaven. Imagine Hermione going up to Harry, after they have defeated Voldemort, to have their first kiss. Everyone is there...Sirius, Hermione's parents, Harry's parents, (highly unlikely...but work with me here), Professor Dumbledore, the Weasleys. Anyone else have scenes?

Not really... I've never watched Titanic, and don't really plan to, so i'll just smile and nod

The kissing in the swimming pool scene from Romeo+Juliet! That would be a good one.

Omg that would be awsome! I loved that Romeo and Juliet scene! The elevator scene was good too...

Hmm...I'd have to say anything from Harry Met Sally. I'd like to see Harry recite a list of every annoying habit of Hermione that he loves!

Oh.. in the movie "French Kiss" he kisses her in her sleep by accident, and then sits there all puzzled.

That would be a great scene for H/hr that titanic scene I mean.

I like the scene in 10 things I hate about you, when the guy (which his name I don't remember, bear with me) sings a song to Kat in the middle of the field.
Also the scene in Vanilla Sky, in which they are in a place full of leaves and Penelope Cruz throughs herself at Tom Cruise and he catches her.
Also that scene in Harry Potter in which Emma tells Dan "you're a great wizard, Harry". (I know that already happened but I still love it!)

Probably the scene in The Matrix Reloaded when Neo saves Trinity. I hate Trinity, but if that was Hermione and Neo was Harry....*blushes* I love Neo...

I'm a sucker for Forrest Gump.

There's this one scene that, even though it's not totally romantic, makes me melt!

It's the scene where Forrest is up at the podium talking about his escapades at the Vietnam War then Jenny comes wading out in that pool-like thing in Washington DC and screams "FORREST!"

Forrest then goes.."JENNY!" and they run towards each other and hug fiercely in the pool-like thing in Washington DC. It's great

But now that I think about it...that scene is a *little* bit like at the end of CoS where Hermione runs the length of the Great Hall to give Harry a hug. Hm. Go figure.

I like the scene from "She's All That" where Freddie Prinze Jr wouldn't stop talking in that perfect "to kiss" moment, so Rachel Leigh Cook tells him to shut up and they kiss Replace Prinze with Harry, and Rachel with Hermione, and that would be a damn good moment.
And the scene where Rachel goes down the stairs in a pretty red dress and the song "Kiss Me" by Sixpence None the Richer plays. Prinze stands up, his jaw dropping a bit, and is speechless ^.^ Perfect H/Hr moment right there, if you ask me. If you have the video, dvd, or have seen the movie, you'll understand me when I do this: *drools*

And I wouldn't say no to the "Whatever it takes" scene where Shane sees the girl [Don't remember her name] under some purdy [pretty ] lights, and looks beautiful. He becomes speechless, too! ^.^


Anyone else here watches [well, watched] Roswell? Some really good scenes with Max and Liz would do nicely with H/Hr, too.

The 'animal cracker' scene in Armageddon was really sweet, and that bit at the end where Ben Affleck and Liv Tyler were running towards each other after the world got saved - I can totally imagine Harry and Hermione doing that. And the wedding at the end..that would be good too.

I dunno if anyone is familiar with the Cinema Paradiso (I'm a sucker for foreign films) but anyway, the scene was the lead actor was lying on his back and wanting the summer to end because he can't be with his girlfriend who went someplace else and he's wishing that it would suddenly rain and it would signal the end of summer and just as he closes his eyes, it starts to rain and his girlfried looms over him and gives him this passionate kiss and he's pretty surprised about it because for a moment there he thinks tha he was just imagining it and when he realizes that she was there... kissing him... oh, it was such a lovely scene and it was raining around them and wet shirt and I have to stop babbling!

Hehehe.

I also had thoughts about when the Rose and Jack got married at the end, I imagined that with Harry and Hermione. Aww..how cute.
I dunno...I watched Deep Impact with Elijah Wood and LeeLee Sabinski, and when they got married and kissed and stuff...I pictured Harry and Hermione.
There have been a lot of movies where I pictured Harry & Hermione.

MirandaRiddle- I've pictured h/hr in the end of Titanic too! I've pictured them throughout the whole movie! How bout' a scene from My Best Friends Wedding? The scene where Jules, Micheal, and Kimmy are all running...after Kimmy catches Micheal and Jules kissing. Kimmy is Hermione, Micheal is Harry and Jules is Cho. "Harry is running after Hermione? Who's running after you Cho? Nobody! You're not the one!"

The one at the end where they are putting the "scholarship contest" lady (I forgot her name; haven't seen the movie in a long time) into the car and then Sandra is saying, "you think I'm gorgeous, you want to date, hug me, and marry -" and the dude was walking away but then she pulls him back and they kiss! I think that would be cute!

There's lots of romance scenes that could be turned into Harry and Hermione . . . we all just have to put our heads together!

I love the Titanic idea! That's one of the greatest romantic movies ever! But Harry's and Hermione's relationship reminds me of Scully and Mulder from The X Files (I used to be a fan...and a shipper too until it got to around season 6, then it got weird, but that's off-topic) - they slowly drifted from platonic to (giggle) more "sexual tension" type of relationship. There was this one episode where Mulder goes back in time on a non-existing ship, meets a woman who looks exactly like Scully, saves her, and right before jumping off the ship, says, "Ahh, in case I'll never be able to do it again" (something along that line) and kisses her deeply and passionately, ending up in Scully slapping him. He wakes up in the hospital and after telling his story and being "diagnosed" as paranoid, he tells Scully he loves her. She, in turn, considers him nuts! Made my little shipper heart glow with warmness! Maybe something like that will happen again, this time in Harry Potter! I doubt that JKR would write something like that though

I don't know how many of you have seen "It's A Wonderful Life" I like the scene where George and Mary are on the same phone while she is having a conversation with Sam, the guy who wants to propose marriage to her. Mary has loved George since she was a young girl and George has fallen in love with her. Sam wants to offer George a job he can't refuse and he tells Mary to tell George it is the chance of a lifetime. She can hardly bear to say the words as they share a moment looking into each others eyes and she drops the phone. George shakes her and says "Now, you listen to me! I don't want any plastics, and I don't want any ground floors, and I don't want to get married - ever - to anyone! You understand that? I want to do what I want to do. And you're...and you're..." then he holds her tightly to him and kisses her all over her face.

This makes me think about Harry/Hermione because they knew each other since they were kids too. She had her eye on him for long time like Hermione. Mary was a bookish sort of girl and George was adventurous kind of like Harry and Hermione are. That is why I love this movie.

Ohhh.. the scene in "Someone Like You" when Ashley Judd and Hugh Jackman fall asleep together, and when they wake up he's like "don't even try to analyze this!"

Fools Rush In- The scenen when they're on Amster Dam and Alex proposes to Izabell and she asks him why and he goes something like 'today I couldn't choose between a chicken sub or a tuna melt. But now I'm sure. Izabell (or Hermione for those of you switchin' names), before I met you I didn't know what I wanted, but things makes sense, but now I know exactly what I want, and now things don't make any sense. But I love you and I want to marry you,' hehehe, I can just see Harry blasting that at Hermione suddenly...

Bruce Almighty- The scene where Jennifer (don't know her cast name sorry) is crying and asking God to help her get over Bruce, and he's watching her with his 'godly powers'. It was a bittersweet scene for me and I could see Hermione doing that incase Harry ::gulps and hyperventilates:: dies, or when he's dating Cho or sumpin... Anyway, I can see Hermione doing that and Harry feeling like shit...

YES YES!! The Titanic idea is great. It's like my favorite movie!! I see H/Hr at the end of the movie and when Rose runs back to Jack. And sometimes when Jack teaches Rose how to spit. It's sort of like Harry taking Hermione away from the books and making her do different things and Jack was sort of doing that to Rose... Something like that. There is even a shot of Rose at one point, and I think she looks exactly like Hermione. At least I think it was of Rose. Could have been a different movie come to think of it. Oh well!

I don't know if you guys have seen "Sweet November" but in the movie there's a scene where Keanu Reeves ( ) dresses up as Santa Clause for Christmas and has a big bag over his shoulder and has 12 presents for the 12 days of Christmas and he gives them to Charlize Theron! I just thought it was soo sweet!! Some of the presents were stuff that they did together and stuff that reminded them of things and I could just picture Harry giving Hermione stuff that reminded them of things they did together such as adventures, classes, etc. and presents that reminded him of her like a stuffed cat representing Crooshanks, a stuffed Blast Ended Skrewt (If they even made those!! *Lol* ) a present that had to do with a giant Troll, etc. I just think that would be soo sweet! And to see Harry dressed up as Santa Clause... Very cute!! And Jessica Leigh, the Matrix Reloaded idea is cute!! Aww!! Who doesn't love Neo??

i hate the Titanic. I don't really understand what is good and romantic...about that movie. beside at the end of that movie...didn't that guy die. Why would you guys want to compare Harry/Hermione to those two. i don't think..you want harry do die right?

anyway...i don't think...any of movie scene will measure up to Harry/hermione moment. because Harry/hermione they make their own "special-romantic-powerful-moment" because well...they are magical couple and they will make their own "Movie Magic"

Oh! Speaking of PotC...I have a good H/Hr-ness type moment. I'm not going to give anything away for those who haven't seen it. But near the end of the movie( after the "death" )Will and Elizabeth are talking together. They were just about to kiss when Will says to Elizabeth that her fiancee was waiting. She walks off( obviously disappointed )and Jack says to Will, "If you were waiting for the opportune moment...that was it." I loved every bit of that movie and that moment screamed H/Hr for me!

Hey y'all what the scene in Spiderman in the rain.

The movie The Princess Bride has some scenes that could be H/hr and the 20th Century Fox cartoon version of the movie Anastasia could have some H/hr scenes in it. But, I haven't watched those movies in a long time, so this just gives me a reason to watch two of my favorite movies.

what about moulin rouge? when ewan and nic are singing atop the big elephant! that would be an awesome scene for harry and herms! now if only dan and emma can sing...hehe

for me...the only movie that fit with Harry/hermione moment is: Welll...huuuh...."HARRY POTTER!!" FROM FIRST TO LAST...

How about in Looking for Alibrandi when Josie is crying on the bus after John Barton's death and how Jacob just hops on the bus, gives her a huge hug and lets her cry on his shoulder. No words, nothing. Pure comfort. To me that would be an awesome Harry and Hermione scene.

Well, it'd be rather fun to see the party scene from 'Sleepy Hollow' done...A blindfolded, flirty Hermione spins around, playing blinds man bluff and ends up smooching Harry.

Very good comparison with Cinema Paradisom Purple_Mud! I loved that movie and I can totally imagine Harry doing that.

But one of my fav moments that I have just realized scream H/Hr is the hallway scene in the X-Files movie: Mulder tells Scully that she makes him a whole person and he can't do it without her.

And another scene from the X-Files, this time from an episode called "Requiem": Mulder is about to go look for a crashed space ship in some forest and Scully can't go with him cuz he thinks she'd be in danger. She tells him that she can't let him go alone. I can totally see that happening when Harry is about to go after Voldie.
(MSR is my very first and favorite ship of all time! )

And yet another scene is at the end of Princess Diaries when Mia and Michael kiss for the first time and she says "you saw me when I was invisible." I love that movie/book!

I think the scene when Arwen suudenly gets foresight and sees what could happen if she stays in Middle-Earth in RotK is brilliant for Harry/Hermione. So are all the other Arwen/Aragorn scenes in LotR I could imagine hermione giving up immortal life for Harry.

you know the scene from the princess diaries? when 'what's-the-boy's-name' kisses amelia? it's like hermione's dream kiss! and then harry makes a grand entrance....

There's a moment in "The Graduate" that reminds me of them:
Near the end, Ben finds out Elaine is get marry at that very moment so... he drives to the church and he has to go through the stairs to the balcony that has this huge glass in front of it. From up there he can see that it was too late, she was married. And he was like "No. Oh, God no" And then he started to bang on the glass screaming "Elaine! Elaine!" And she looked at him for a moment and then yelled "Ben!!" He raced down the stairs, she ran down the aisle and they got to the door where her father tried to grab Ben but Ben beat him off with a cross. They got out and jammed the door shut with the cross and jumped on a bus laughing. And then they sat next to each other and just smile.

I think of Harry and Hermione because I think if he loved her Harry wouldn't give up on Hermione just because she just got married and I think Hermione would know that he must love her if he wasn't giving up.

And here's another one. It's not from a movie even though they made it a movie that has almost nothing to do with the book, at all. Stupid screenplay writer, I hate you!! Right. Anyway, it's from Ella Enchanted (the book):

At one part Prince Char slides down the banister and calls Ella to follow him. And when she does he catches her in his arms and swings her around until her father comes and then Char puts her down.
Somehow I can see Harry and Hermione doing that though Hermione would need more coaxing then Ella did.

I will have to say "A walk in the Clouds", I´m not sure if that is the name in english cause I am more fond to the name in spanish (Un paseo por las nubes).

The part where Keanu has the war nightmare again and suddenly, everything turns green and nice and he sees (Aitana, I can´t remember her cast name) and a little kid walking towards him, and that is when he realizes that he belongs with them and that his nightmares are finally over.

Just picture our tormented Harry being tortured with bad dreams about his final battle with Voldie and then suddenly he realizes his feelings for Hermione and it turns into a pleasant dream.

I´m a sucker for romantic films.

Ps. this movie also helps a lot if you have a foreigner boyfriend!! Just let your parents watch this movie and it may change their point of view on foreigner boys!!

Uhh well I guess I have one. Going back to the whole video game thing (I know, I know, its not a movie, but it still works!)

FFX, I love that game, and there's a whole lot of little moments that could go with H/Hr... but the best one has to be where its like Tidus confronts Yuna in the pond and tells her that he found out what was going to happen to her at the end of their journey but he would stay with her anyways, but he tells her she could always stop and just not do it. She starts to cry because she knows that she has to do it or else someone else would have to, but Tidus kisses her and stuff.


So.... we'd probably have to switch the roles (and sexes) of Tidus and Yuna, because you know, in that peticular scene, I could see Hermione coming to Harry and telling him she found out about the prophecy, and would stay with him to the end, and maybe even telling him to just not do it (not likely, knowing Hermione) and Harry just like telling her that he had to do it anyways because no one else could and like having a breakdown or something.

Xjhoven, lol, I love that game too, FFX is cool. I was just thinking that when i was reading all these. That whole kissing scene and everything else.

Lol, surprisingly, the movie that came to mind is "Bubbleboy." Harry is pretty much putting himself in a bubble nowadays, and Hermione does show affection for him. I would love to see Harry traveling in a bubble to Niagra falls to get Hermione back before it was too late. I loved that whole thing. It pretty much is H/Hr. Harry has feeling for Herm, but doesn't tell her quick enough, Herm gets swept up in another guy and goes to marry him. Harry stops the wedding...I think that's how the story went, I forget a lot of it. The part I'm thinking about is when Harry finally gets outta the bubble and realizes that he never needed the bubble since like age 5. Then the kiss. H/HR ALL OVER IT!!!! lol, sorry about that, just had another fantasy, lol.
