I just found my video of the Secret Garden and I found a moment. It's when Mary (Hermione) and Dickon (Harry) were posing on the swing for Colin (Ron) and they were looking at each other with a small, all-most shy smile. And Colin was like "Hey! Hey!!!" and it took alwhile for them to look away. Of course in other versions of the film she marries Colin (who is her cousin, first cousin mind you.) but I rather not think about that. Or I could say Colin is Harry and Dickon is Ron and that scene was really a R/Hr moment but it does matter because in the end she marries Colin who is Harry. That works, right....right??
Okay. Now I'm confusing myself. I need to lie down.

Have you ever read a book or watched a movie that has a scene in it that you just want to scream, "OMG! That is SO Harry and Hermione!" You would read that part over and over a hundred times and drool... and hope something similar would happen to Harry and Hermione.

Here's is a passage I find very Pumpkin Pie

The Hight King By Llord Anexander (last pag)
QUOTE
(From Dallben)"... But I suggest you first let those visitors trampling about the fields see there is a new High King in Prydain, and a new Queen. Gwydion will have proclaimed the tidings and your subjects will be impatient to hail you."

The compainions following, Taran and Eilonwy left the chamber. But at the cottage door, Taran drew back and yurned to Dallben "Can one such as I rule this kingdom? I remember a time when I jumped head first into a thorn bush and I fear kingship will be no different."

"Very likely more nettlesome," put in Eilonwy. "But should you  have any diffivulties, I'll be happy to give you my advice. Right now, there's only one question: Are you going in or out of this door way?"

(skip paragraphes)

And so they lived many happy years, and the promised tasks were accomplished. Yet long afterward, when all had passed away into distant memory, there were many who wondered whether King Taran and Queen Eilonwy, and their companions had indeed walked the earth, or whethere they had been no more than dreams in a tale set down to beguile children. And, in time, only the bards knew the truth of it.

I just hope our Harry and Hermione would get a happily ever after like Taran and Eilonwy.

Yes, for example in Two Weeks Notice at the end where (Hugh Grant's) says to (Sandra Bulllock) you are the voice in my head. I so wanted to sream that is Harry and Hermione.

Hey again!!!! I just thought of another one. It's from "When Harry Met Sally" and it's near the end when Harry told Sally this:

I love that you get cold when it's 71 degrees out. I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich. I love that you get a little crinkle in your nose when you're looking at me like I'm nuts. I love that after I spend the day with you, I can still smell your perfume on my clothes. And I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. And it's not because I'm lonely, and it's not because it's New Year's Eve. I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.

And when I heard this I thought "That sound something Harry (Potter I mean) would say to Hermione.

Hmm...Speaking of scenes, can we do characters? And can it be from video games too?

Have any of you ever played the game The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker for Gamecube? Is anyone here with agreement when I say Link and Tetra remind me of Harry and Hermione?

LOL, for those of you who have never heard of the game, Link is this kid from this island. His little sister is kidnapped, so he goes on a mission to rescue her. On the way he meets this pirate who goes by the name of Miss Tetra, who is his same age. About half-way through the game, you find out that Link wasn't there by accident--his destiny fortold him to be the Wind Waker (Think Boy Who Lived) and that Tetra, this genius pirate girl, is actually Princess Zelda.

Princess Zelda has the Triforce of Wisdom, (in other words, she's a smart cookie).
Link has the Triforce of Courage, (in other words, he's a brave little boy).

See any resemblence?

Hope this isn't :OFF TOPIC:

Maybe I'm alone in this, but the entire "Grawp" chapter in OotP strongly reminds me of "King Kong" (the old school 1933 version, not the crappy remake with Jeff Bridges that came out in the 70s).

I probably don't need to elaborate who would be who, but I'll do it for theory's sake:

Grawp = The giants' answer to King Kong
Hagrid = A much nicer, much less villainous and greedy Carl Denham
Hermione = A much more pro-active damsel in distress Ann Darrow
Harry = The hero who continuously saves said "damsel", Jack Driscoll

The "Grawp" chapter reminds me so much of KK in fact, I wonder if JKR is a fan of the movie. Giant monster tries to grab the pretty damsel, but the hero protects her (Harry pulls Hermione behind a tree where Hermione is trembling in fear behind Harry) despite being at a rather enormous weight disadvantage. Giant monster's foolhardy handler (although Hagrid is much nicer than Carl, but possibly no less foolhardy to an extent) tries to control him, but ultimately proves to no avail (Grawp escapes later on and interrupts a dispute with H/Hr and the Centaurs). Of course, the only character the giant monster recognizes is the lovely damsel (aka, "Hermy"). Which provides another opportunity for us to see the hero save his heroine a few more times.

I also think it's amusing Hagrid, near the very end of OotP, says that he's considering bringing in a "lady friend" for Grawp. Heh. Hermione obviously wouldn't fit the bill... despite Grawp Kong's interest in her.

I think the movie that reminds me most of H/Hr Is a Walk to Remember heart.gif . Jamie(Hermione) is a bookworm, really unpopular. Landon(Harry) is Mr. Popular. It just really reminds me of H/Hr wub.gif
