What if.....Ginny was lost to the Weasley's at a young age?
I want it to be where somehow when she wa sout with her mum or dad or family.. she got lost and was never found [ you pick the age, I prfer something like 5 or 6].
So life goes on reluctantly and Ginny is never heard of again, the ministry and Brittain can not find her.
She's been in france, with a family that adopted her [but she suspects this but they say she isn't really, one of the parents can have reddish brown hair but both must have blue/green eyes because Ginny has brown] Have her living in a rich tastefull family, and you can either have them in dark arts or not.. either way I want her to know the Malfoys and you can either have her be engaged to Draco because of their parents, or whatever..
Then she gets a letter for Hogwarts not the other school in france, and reluctantly going there she is placed in slytherin [ or grffindor if you choose, that might be interesting] She learns of the weasleys and for some reason can't condemn them for being so poor.
This can occur during like.. Harry's 4th year, that way if the Weasley's show up they'll see this girl with red hair and stuff and...from there you take it!
