I have spent way too much time and energy on this ship. I have met some wonderful people that I hope to stay in contact with even after the series is over and we know what the result is. Plus, there are some great fanfiction stories out there to read so no matter what happens, I can satisify my desire for our favorite couple to live on together! So I could never, ever give up on it.

I had to be the rogue disloyal one and put down "if they turned out to be brother and sister" because that would be incest, obviously ... but then I wouldn't want to go over to the "Dark side", and Harry and Hermione ARE NOT SIBLINGS anyway so it is a moot point.

I do like the idea of Harry being related to the Weasleys in order to get Ginny out of the way, though.

I would still continue to support this couple even if they are 'siblings.' JKR made me love this couple and 'no sibling twist' can change that.

JKR already ripped off Spiderman at the end of HBP she doesn't need to rip off Star Wars too. If she did that...well H/Hr shippers won't be the only ones thinking what a lame ending sibling Harry and Hermione would be. Not only do you have OBHWF, but you have Harry having a 'blood relative' left, a sister.

They can call me delusional all they want. They can SQUEE over the pathetic 'relationships' of OBHWF all they want and I will still never support them. They can party over there and I'll party over here with my fellow shippers. Shippers on this ship are the most loyal in the HP fandom. We didn't abandon ship when the going got tuff. We stuck to our guns and we still find evidence for a possible H/Hr outcome that 'isn't crazy.'

OMG this is my first post in a LONG time (I doubt anyone remembers me). Anyways, I voted never. I have KNOWN it would be H/Hr from book one. I read it in the third grade in 1999 and I have never wavered since.

The whole "sibling" theory sounds like rubbish to me. I remember reading on JKR's site how she had originally planned the series to start off with Hermione's dad discovering baby Harry in some wreckage off on an island and then keeping him. Now she OBVIOUSLY didn't go that way, and while that may be because she really wanted to introduce the Dursley's, I think maybe it was because she knew that having Harry and Hermione grow up together would make them TOO brother/sister like and she knew that wouldn't work out for the final pair, which would be Harry and Hermione of course!

Or maybe I'm just delusional.

lol. Don't know if that made sense, but basically I would never give up! I've been emotionally invested in this ship since I was 9! I'm not stopping now.

Well, clearly, I haven't read this in a while because it said Hermione's dad found the the bodies but not Harry, meaning Harry had probably been whisked off by Hagrid already. Oh well. So that theory is out the window. But, on a side note, it is interesting that JKR would have Hermione (well her dad) be so important early on in the series...

Even if JKR followed the Luke/Leia approach, I have fanfiction to fall back into and our great authros can undo everything she has written about them being brother and sister!!! I don't think this will happen, too because it would simply defy her depiction of the trio as the perfect combination of Muggle and Wizard world...Hermione is Muggleborn, Harry is the mixed one, the half-blood while Ron is the pureblood.

I think we all miss the point when we even bother to care about canon shipping at this point. If she does H/Hr I'll still feel cheated based on how she dragged us through the mud for two years.

If it ends R/Hr I'll have the smug satisfaction of knowing that she can't write romance or understand human compatibility if it bit her on the arse. If she does she did a damned poor job of writing it.

If it ends H/G....well I suspect Molly and Voldemort would make a striking couple also....

honestly i never second thought of my choice number two... always. I will never ever abandon harmony. I just wish that many more people realise that. I found lots of friend here but i am still afraid going to other site (a more general site) because they tend to despise my ship, makes me sad.

H/Hr ir the most reasonable ship. many people I know said that H/hr is the ideal ship that's why it's not going to happen because JKR writes about real life and in real life we don't always get what we want (the ideal). So H/hr is not going to happen because it's too beautiful and too good to be true.

H/Hr will happen because love does exixt in this world right? tell me i am right. because i witness lots of people with the same kind of love. if you ask me I can tell you lots of people do experience true love.

H/hr is not a dream. H/hr is not ideal. They fight, they met obstacle. they're not perfect. that's what make them perfect with each other.

I am taking example of my parents. They have odds and ups and down. Many people despise their relationship and they practically live alone in their own little world. They weren't accepted by the two families. but they survive and i am proud of them. My parents fights. but the love each other.

H/hr resembles my parents guess (although they're not groing up together) but they're magic in my parents life. If H/Hr doesn't survive then neither does my parents.

If JKR wrote againts my ship then I can say that she had bitter love experience and she write HP just to express her bitterness. Shame for a writer.

If H/H happens I wont feel cheated because the last two books is actually when their relationship progresses. There is a gradual change in their friendship.

In OotP, we see how H/Hr work wonderfully as a team. Harry actually litsens to what Hermione has to say. She is the only one able to get through to him. They are each other's support.

In HBP, we know what happened when they did not work together and did not help and guide each other. Hermione wasn't really there for Harry and well Harry was too busy with Super Ginny!

So what I'm saying is that these two years has given them a chance to realize that they need each other, that they need to work together and stay a team.

I'd say it was worth it if H/Hr happens in the end which I'm very certain will.

I honestly couldn't see H/Hr turning out to be another Luke/Leia,because there has been no hints that Harry has any other siblings. Rowling couldn't justify making them brother and sister without having to revise the other six books worth of H/Hr moments they've shared throughout the series. I highly dobut she would pull that stunt just to explain why they'd never be a couple,so I won't be abandoning Harmony anytime soon and I probably won't after DH is released either.

I may be a freak here, but I wouldn't stop shipping them even if JKR did go the Luke/Leia approach. There's just too many amazing moments for them to stop.

For those people talking about Star Wars, I really have no idea what you're talking about, but I can say that I highly doubt Harry and Hermione would be siblings.

First of all, though it's possible: Harry and Hermione look NOTHING alike. (Yeah, they've got the messed up hair, but that doesn't count.) And if they were, why wasn't she there during that fateful night in 1981? Also, she said that her parents were dentists, and I really doubt that she'd lie about that.

And she's nearly a year older than him, do you honestly think that Lily would have another baby as soon as her first were born? I mean, yeah, sure, James could've had an affair, but it's not likely. Really, James is a pureblood, and Hermione's parents are muggles, and I doubt he'd hook up with a muggle. But I don't think he'd do that; he loves Lily toooo much.

I, personally, think Harry is going to die. (Yes, I think he is an unintentional horcrux.) As people have brought up (am I going off topic?), about the whole Dementor thing: they feed off HAPPY memories. Now, do you think a happy memory would be of his mother screaming in agony, dying, suffering? No, that would be Voldemort's "happy" memory.

Yes I quite agree that Hermione being Harry's sister makes no sense, but I suppose it is possible they could be related if a lot of canon things were discarded.
