I don't really know where to put this thread under, so i'll just put it here. If its not suppose to be here, then pls move it to the appropriate forum.

Neway.....

This is in all of the five book of Harry Potter. If u flip to the first page where you can find the symbol of hogwarts, you can also find this inscription " Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus" underneath it. Now.. i think its latin, but im not sure. Any idea what this might mean?

I was just curious... yea... i guess i do read the book cover to cover... word by word too... hehehe........

I think I remember someone telling me this. It goes something like this: (forgive me if I'm wrong) Do not tickle the nose of a sleeping dragon.

From your Resident Latin Geek:

It means "Never tickle a sleeping dragon."

lolz.... thanx guys....!!! im guessing that Draco means dragon?

Spiral
Yes, it does.
Matt
Literally it means "Never tickle a sleeping dragon" but I think the underlying is, just because something seems harmless don't provoke it because things can turn nasty pretty quick.

"Do not tickle the sleeping dragon"

And this is why I named my HP comic strip :
"Tickling The Sleeping Dragon"

Now maybe more people will get the gag tongue.gif

Eh eh, sorry for the shameless self-promotion laugh.gif
