yeah he is part kneazle, he's a great pet im reading book three again i wish he could just ge hold of scabbers/peter!!!

What is a kneazle? J.K. Rowling has told us that Crooshanks is half Kneezle and she told us to look it up in Fantastic Beasts, but I have no clue what that is either. So can someone tell me what it is please before I go insane, thanks in advance.

Kneazles are closely related to cats. They're close enough obviously to interbreed with cats. Kneazles have large ears, spotted fur, and a lion-like tail. They are more intelligent than the average cat, and can detect suspicious people.

KNEAZLE

The Kneazlewas originally bred in Britain, though it is now exported worldwide. A small, cat-like creature with flecked speckled or spotted fur, putsize ears and a tail like a lion's, the Kneazle is intelligent, independant and occasionally agressive, though if it takes a liking to a witch or wizard, it makes an excellent pet. The Kneazle has an uncanny ability to detect unsavoury or suspicious characters and can be relied upon to guide its owner safely home if they are lost. Kneazles have up to eight kittens in a litter and can interbreed with cats. Licences are required for ownership as (like Crups amd Fwoopers) Kneazles are unusual in appearance to attract Muggle interest.

I get really sad too when I look at HBP, the only thing that helps is hiding it somewhere where I never go, *sigh* now I want to throw it somewhere far 'cause I thought about it.
