Welcome Lily James Smut friends!!!! here is place for you to post why do you like L/J smut? (afterall we all like it? don't we?) And most importantly do you think that a good L/j is incomplete with smut?

What type of smut do you like? err...(gets his mind out of gutter) Sorry. You just have to discuss why do you like L/J smut....!!!!

I love kinky H/Hr sex - but for Lily/James, I like them to be loving and affectionate to each other. I think they had their first time together - and as such I think they had "learned" a lot from each other And they aren't shy with weach other, so a lot of wild things might have had happened between them. I don't mind Lily/James sex - but I would much rather read a lot of fluff, and then (did not mean than) the morning after hints at what they did together the night before. Like Sirius asking where James was off to... or Lily getting pestered by Proff. McGonagall for being tardy to class... Lily can get a detention, and James can "supervise" hehehehe....

Okay... I do like the L/J smuttiness, I guess I like more the thought of what they did around the amuttiness than the actualy smuttiness

Hmmm...haven't read any L/J smut actually. I guess they're probably rare on the fandom sites I look through.

But I like L/J fluff. I like H/Hr fluff. I'm what I call myself, a fluff buff

But I really appreciate anything well-written.

I like J/L smutt cuz it makes me laugh I think them being together is so cute and fluffy that it's just funny! BUT IN A GOOD WAY!!! I promise. And well most of the time J/L fic's are love/hate, and the first time they kiss or get *dirty* its really funny or cute.

Are there any L/J NC-17 fan fics out there? I've only been seeing G, PG/13, and R. My favorite find of fan fiction is *tasteful* NC-17 fics and I like reading about Lily and James, but I still haven't found any NC-17. I was wondering, if anyone knew were some are would you be so nice to tell me. If there isn't I guess I'll write one, but I don't like reading my own work, I think my own work sucks and I hate criticising my stuff. So please help me out here! ::Imagine::

Hmmm... I would like to read some aswell. I do remember my wife writing me a little one about Lily/James and their honeymoon... well.. not honeymoon, but it was the prelude on their way to Hawaii. ;; If I find it, and if my wife agrees, I'll post it. But aside from that, I dont' think L/J erotica is a genre that has been explored. Personally, I associate Lily with my mother too much. That's why I get rather squicked at the thought of her and anyone else even kissing.... never mind more.

Thats a good question imagine, one that I asked myself. I guess it just seemed to me that it woudln't be well recieved for some reason. *shrugs*, but I would like to see some NC-17 Lily/James. Hmmmm.

maybe we could both write one and then we would both have one to read. Though I'm guessing I might get the better deal there as my NC17 stories aren't that great but oh well. Maybe I'll get bored and actually work something up. Gosh I must be tired because I sure am rambling.

Bottom line imagine, if you are so inclined please write a Lily/James NC17 fic, you would at least have one reader here!

I'm not sure that any exist, but when the only archives that would take that which I know of are Portkey and RS.org, that isn't saying much.

However, we know they did...otherwise we wouldn't have a main character for the canon. The lack of L/J smut is only unsuprising because of how they died--as I haven't seen too many NC-17 fics that involve two people who are dead in canon.

You'd have more than one reader if someone wrote one. In my mind, they had such a beautiful relationship (I mean, it created Harry) that a very nice NC-17 fic could be beautifully written. Anyone?

gypsybaby21, post it asap please! i've never even seen an R one here before.... they ditched the NC-17 rating at ff.net ages ago tho. but don't worry. It's just all the ones that would have been NC-17 are R.

I'd check out "Entranced" by Mistress Del Mare at fanfiction.net - she's doing a sequel to it right now. I'm not a huge smut fan, but this fic is pretty well written.

I second that padawan leia - her stuff really isn't all that bad - I like it It's Hard R bordering on NC-17, and it's pretty good - oh yeah! I gotta see if she's updated the sequel! *smiles sheepishly*

Hey everyone! I am an avid reader here at portkey and i simply LOVE lily/james fics! i coulden't help but notice that there are only like 3 or 4 lily/james smut stories on the whole site and I for one would like to see more! If you like reading them too and agree with me that we need more here at portkey then plz reply and mabye we could work something out by writing one. I have a few ideas, even though i might not be the greatest writer, I would still like to give it a go.

for a while the plot was simply where would they do it next and what would they break up over next but now its getting more plotful.
it's been one of my faves for a while, though recently I've become obsessed with GypsyBaby's A Day Without Rain, but thats a D/G so thats besides the point.

I like L/J smut, but it has to be loving and tender. And I prefer that what they do is kept private, too. I don't like fics where they get all hot and heavy in front of other people out in the common room. But I can see their relationship being extremely passionate behind closed doors.

I've heard a lot of people say that they have a hard time reading stuff like that between Lily and James because they think of them as their parents. I've never had that problem. Well, I can't really, seeing as how I have a huge crush on James... But anyway, I've always thought of them kind of like another Harry and Hermione, only with different personalities.

Lily/James smut? I have never seen a single L/J smut fic in all my time shipping the pairing. It seems to me that it's either very rare, or I frequent sites that don't have it. To be honest, though, L/J smut doesn't interest me much. It's better kept behind closed doors.

I haven't read a lot of L/J smut because I can never find anything! I mean there is a few here and I read a few on ff.net but I always imagined them in the Love/Hate relationship and then just suddenly going at it .

I hope people start to post more L/J smut fics because they can be really good even if we know what happens to them in the end.

There is a L/J ###### called Untouchable but I dont know who its by. A farely good one too And there is a very long NC-17 called The Ultimate Bet or something which is packed with sex. But its easy to find them just Filter your searches.

yeah, i've filtered before and you still dont get too much thats good.... theres alot of fluff and whatnot, which is nice, but not the same as smutt....i love james/lily stories cuz they're just so cute and seemingly innocent. I really wish that some more people would write some better (not only fluff) ones for them, i would but i''m not exactly the best writer

Try A Very Thin Line by LavenderBrown on checkmated. It's completed L/J ###### and it's really good. You need to get a membership to the bedchamber section to read it, and it's about halfway down on her author page.

Really - don't be put off by the fact it's on a R/Hr site, the story is excellent.

Definitely A Very Thin Line, I got it when it was still on ff.net (before they went all nazi on R and NC-17 fics), and i'd say it's the definitive high-school Lily/James fic. Also has that great bonus of not making James really irritating.

Another one that's not bad is "Hot For Teacher" by Erak, which is good if you stick with it and can handle Lily having OOC uber-cool friends (cliche!). It has Lily in 7th year with James back as a teacher.... Unfortunately it's also been taken off ff.net, and is slowly being put back up on unknowableroom.org.

One that I did like, which was a kinda Cruel intentions-like L/J (both of them playing charcters with dubious morals) was "Get Mine Get Yours", by Cherry Blood, which was on ff.net too - if you can find that, it's got a happy ending and some definite NC-17.

As you can probably tell, if I find something on ff.net, I save it. Things get deleted too fast there.

And one that isn't NC-17, but worth a look IMO, is The Road Trip, by Jacy. It's pg-13, but I really like it.

I like reading NC17 J/Ls cause they're mostly really hillarious, usually to do with lots of sexual tension, hidden desires and one of them finally breaking down and jumping the other in a broomcloset between Charms and Potions...

I remember reading that and loving it; unfortunately it got deleted. I'm still hoping to someday stumbling on to it but that probably won't happen. She had a few of other fics I liked though, if I remember correctly. One called Dangerous Flirtations and a Cruel Intensions, I thing.
