Okay, now, after that LOVELY title (which took me quite a while to come up with), I should probably explain what this thread is about.
Some of you might know the Research/Reference Thread for the MWPP era. It’s essentially a quick-ref guide to the MWPP era for those ficwriters who like to stick to canon. I created it in a moment of intense boredom and new-to-the-fandom outrage (aka: What!?!?! ARABELLA FIGG DID NOT GO TO HOGWARTS! She was a squib for goodness sake!* And Hermione and Draco as head boy and girl? Um, no!** And who are these "Marauders?" . . . I was such a poor deluded child back then :-P lol). It went far beyond what I had expected it to, and I keep expanding it. However, recently, real life has been eating up my life. (Tragic, ain't it.) As such, there are big huge blank holes where information should be.
I'm referring to the Specific Character info section. The one that goes like this

As you can see if you look on the thread, I have only worked on one character, and he'd not even done yet.
Is anyone interested in getting the info for one remaining characters? The ones I have listed on the thread but not researched are Lily Evans (Potter), Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew, Remus Lupin, and Severus Snape. Most of the research is already out there, but it just needs to be put together in one place. If we had one person to gather all the information that they could about of the characters, and another to do the same for another, and so on and so forth, the thread could be made into an even more valuable resource.
If we could just get a few more people to do it, we could have the most in-depth collection of canon MWPP information on the net (as far as I can find). I, for one, think that'd be pretty awesome. It might even serve the double purpose of drawing more L/J shippers to Portkey, which would be even more awesome.

*-At the time I entered the fandom, it was after OotP came out, (even though I've been reading the books since before it was "cool" to.) so I knew Arabella Figg was a squib. EVERYONE knew that, obviously! So why did so many people write her as Lily's best friend. At the time, I didn't realize the hint about Arabella Figg at the end of GoF, so I was outraged. I get it now, though.
**- My first fanfic I ever read was a "Draco and Hermione are Head boy and girl and because theymain thing I remember thinking as I read that fic was, "What the hell?" I was not quite used to fanon yet, and being immersed into one of the most fanon-y shippings for my first story was somewhat of a shock. But I digress.
Alright, so all of the characters have been taken now. :-D Hopefully it should be done by January or February.

That's great Chee I love the ammount of work you've put into gathering all the cannon details for L/Js era.
Anyway to those doing the additions you can post your additions in this thread and I'll edit them into Chee's post in the reference thread or edit chee's post and put your additions after. Or you can PM Chee. Whichever is easier.
good luck with getting it done everyone it'll be great when we have all this cannon stuff. It's helped heaps in writing my L/J story.
