A Round Robin is when a group of people write a story together. One person writes one part, then another person starts writing off of that and so on...
No need to feel dumb.

All of you asking if it's okay for you to be involved, there's room for everyone! A round robin usually has lots of people in it.
So far we have a few things that we are going to use the in RR:
-- During Hogwarts
-- Keep it light (not everyone can write angst *points to self*)
Shall we just go ahead and start the round robin? We don't really need a plot-plot, this isn't going to turn out to be a full blown fic -- it's just some fun for us D/G-ers.

Ginny Weasley stepped past the barrier of 9 3/4 pushing her trolley languidly. She was expecting this year to be her quiet year, maybe nothing out of the ordinary would happen to her brother or his friends or her, and she would be able to relax and enjoy the year just like any other student.
She boarded the train and went to find and empty compartment, and put her trunk up in the overhead compartment. She smiled to herself and sat down in her seat. Peace and quiet, finally.
Just as she was thinking that, the door of the compartment slid open and a blond-haired Slytherin stepped through, completely ignoring Ginny and taking a seat in the opposite side of the compartment.
Ginny stared, her mouth gaping.

It had to be an omen. It just had to be. An omen telling her that she was going to have anything BUT a quiet - ordinary school year. She gave a frustrated sigh and scowled at the Slytherin.
Draco Malfoy.
Ginny assessed him as he stared out the window. He had grown into his pointy face and eased up on the gel, making him look less severe and more casual. He wasn't so skinny anymore and filled out nicely. His shoulders were broad, his waist tapered and he had grown taller, but she figured Ron was a bit taller.
She studied his face and smiled at the all too familiar smirk that played on his lips. As usual he looked elegant and his expensive clothes fit him well.
She shook her head and gave a 'hpmh'.
Everything about him, just screamed, 'Rich!'
He was rich for sure - almost everything about him was, except his character, personality and manners, which were very much piss poor.
She didn't realise though, that she was just staring at him and he had noticed.
"Yes, Weasel? See something you like?"

"Very funny, Malfoy," she responded icily, and turned to direct her glare to the innocent cows mooing outside the compartment window.
"Very funny?" He raised a platinum-blonde eyebrow quizzically. "That's all you have to say? Planning something for later, perhaps?"
He leaned forward. "How about you tell your big brother and his big scary friends to come after me? Hmm?"
Ginny turned to glare at him, which must have been a relief for the cows. "I don't need them to do this, Malfoy: Shove off, you little annoying little prat, before I hex you five ways from next Tuesday."
He laughed, a deep throaty laugh, and she blushed crimson. In two quick strides he was out the compartment door without saying a word.
The youngest Weasley child moaned and propped her face up with her palms.
Oh. Damn.

What had she gotten herself into, talking to Draco Malfoy like that? Even talking to him at all was a sin, according to her family. She wasn't known to speak up in front of people, but she rather liked it that way. No one ever bothered her-
"Hey Gin!" Hermione smiled, popping her head into the compartment. Ginny rolled her eyes, so much for people not bothering her.
"Hello," she sighed, plastering a smile to her face. Ron pushed his way into the compartment, followed by- Harry. She let out a small humph, sitting upright in her seat.
"You don't mind us barging in on you, do you? There was no other place to sit..." Ron smiled at his baby sister.
"It's not like the compartment is full," Ginny grinned, sadened a bit by the prospect that she wouldn't be bothered by Draco anymore.
What is wrong with me, thinking it's a bad thing that I won't be bothered by Malfoy? Ginny inwardly scolded herself, her gaze returning to the lanscape which flashed before her eyes.
"Can you move your trunk a bit, mine won't fit anywhere else?" Harry asked coyly.
"Oh, Harry. Sure," Ginny blushed a crimson, tugging her trunk under her feet. She had barely noticed he was there, such an amazing feat since she was supposed to be obsessed with him.
She shifted her feet, but the trunk remained in her way. She could tell it was going to be a very long ride.

-----------------"We passed that bouncing ferret in the hall, Gin." Ron said, grinning widely and seating himself next to her. "Should've seen the look on his face when I hexed him! That slimeball now has stripes!"
Ginny couldn't resist a slight giggle at the thought of the tall, elegant Slytherin with stripes. "What color?" She inquired.
"Pink!" Ron declared, and she laughed again.
Hermione clucked her tongue disapprovingly. "You're going to get points taken away severely if you keep this up this year, Ron." She chided. "I'd really watch out if I were you."
"Oh,
please, Hermione. There wasn't a teacher or prefect in sight."
Hermione gave him a pointed look. "Are you
sure?"
Harry looked at her strangely. "What are you hinting at?" He asked her, and she beamed, slipping a shiny prefect badge out of her pocket and holding it up so that it glinted in the sunlight. Ron's jaw dropped.
"You can't take away points for that! We aren't even at school yet!" He protested, as she pinned it onto her robes.
Ginny only paid half attention to the further extent of the trio's conversation. It really didn't concern her, she decided. She entertained herself by staring out of the compartment's window, counting cows and other scattered animals.
"Gin? GIN!"
Ginny's head snapped to attention and her eyes were greeted by the strangely relieving sight of the trio exiting the compartment. Harry and Hermione were slipping out the door, and Ron was looking back at her concernedly. "Gin, you want to come or not? We're going to Dean and Seamus' compartment for a game of Exploding Snap."
Ginny looked past her brother at his two best friends, who were talking lightly and casting each other shy looks of admiration. "No," she said dully, turning back to the cows. "I don't think I want to come." Her stomach made a queasy turn as she turned back once more as her brother shrugged and left, passing Harry and Hermione, who were blushing red now.
The door shut behind him, and then she was alone again.
"You two are disgusting," a loud brash voice said, "get out of the hallway before the rest of us hurl."
"Shut up, Malfoy!" Ron's voice resounded, but Ginny could hear the trio leaving for Seamus' compartment quickly, not wishing for another unpleasant confrontation.
The door slid open and Draco Malfoy peeked in.

Ginny groaned to herself when she saw his face poking into the small compartment. "What do you want now?" she asked, not caring if she sounded rude.
"Now, now, that's no way to greet an old friend, is it?"
Ginny just stared at the boy for a moment. "Since when are we old friends, Malfoy?" she asked indignantly.
"Old friends, old enemies. It's really all the same when you think about it, you know. But no matter," he replied, with a wave of his hand, sitting down across from her.
Ginny didn't know how to respond to this and merely stared at him for a few seconds, expecting more from him. He remained silent though, gazing out the window at the passing landscape. She sighed to herself, perplexed, and did the same. I wonder what Ron would think if he saw me sitting here, across from Malfoy Ginny wondered. Wait, didn't Ron say he hexed Malfoy?
She snuck a glance across the compartment and studied the Slytherin. There were no signs of pink stripes anywhere on his body. Suddenly, Ginny let out a giggle. Oops, thought too soon there.
"What are you laughing at?" Draco asked, sounding bored.
"Well, Ron hexed pink stripes onto you," she began in response, only to be quickly interrupted.
"Yeah, but as you can see, I got rid of them," Draco said, gesturing at himself.
Ginny giggled again. "Not all of them. Your hair is flashing a lovely shade of bright pink right now, Malfoy."
He stood up in anger, trying to use the window as a mirror. "No!" he moaned, sweeping a hand through his hair. "That brother of yours is really in for it now!"
"Aw, I don't know. I think it looks kind of cute on you." Ginny didn't even realize what she was saying until she saw Draco's odd expression. Her face paled as she asked him "Did I just say that out loud?"

Ginny blushed and moved toward the door, hoping he would move and provide her with an exit. She'd had two too many embarrassing situations with him today, and any quick escape would be a God-send. She reached to push him away from the door.
Draco grabbed her arm, pulling her a little closer and whispering in her ear. "Going somewhere, Weasley?"

MY TURN!!! I get the FLUFF!!!
Ginny raised her eyes slowly and stared into his. They were lowered slightly and she shivered at the hint of something she saw there. Was it, No! He couldn't want to..
Draco bent his head, pressing his lips gently against hers. At first she was too shocked to respond but the sensations swirling in the pit of her stomach were too urgent to ignore. Her arms crept up around his neck and her mouth opened slightly. Draco pressed his advantage, slipping his tongue into her mouth to mate softly with hers.
They kissed like there was no tomorrow and only broke apart when they heard footsteps in the hallway. Both of them were breathing heavily as they stared at one another, surprise and desire riding hard on both of their faces.
Draco moved first, feeling his way to a seat and collapsing into it, his eyes never leaving her face. Ginny sank into the chair behind her, her fingers brushing her still tingling lips.

Ahhh, and I’m supposed to be doing that horrendous eight page essay *sobs*

Draco smirked at her dazed expression. Must have been her first kiss, he thought and a smile of satisfaction crawled onto his face. He glanced back at Ginny who was now staring at him murderously.
“Have your fun then Malfoy?” she spat.
Draco winced; he didn’t mean to upset her-
“Malfoy! Are you listening to me?”
Draco shrank back as the tiny redhead advanced on him. If looks could kill… Suddenly Ginny’s hand grasped his chin so that he was looking into her eyes and not at his feet.
Startled, Draco tried not to shudder at the electricity that seemed to flow through her fingers onto his skin. Merlin it felt so good, so right. Ginny also looked alarmed at the feeling as she had hastily pulled her hand away and stared at him oddly.
“What’s your problem Weasley, it-”
Suddenly Draco found himself shoved roughly against the chair and the redhead’s lips pressed firmly against his. He moaned into her mouth as she caressed his lips with her tongue.
Okay maybe he wasn’t her first kiss.
Her hands were wound around his neck and her gentle caresses made Draco squirm. He fervently hoped she couldn’t tell what she was doing to him. Draco dragged his teeth against her tongue gently before settling Weasley onto his lap. He rubbed small circles on her back as they kissed hungrily.
“Ginny? Ron sent me to ask you to help me find Tre-” Draco looked up from Ginny’s neck where his mouth was now on and stared at Neville who looked scandalized at the scene before him. Draco smiled lazily at the boy and licked the bite mark on Ginny’s neck. He grinned as the small girl’s moan made Neville’s face contort into a stricken expression.

Neville let out a high pitched squeak as he looked from Ginny's closed eyes and back to Draco's smarmy grin. He quickly backed out of the compartment and shut the door behind him, muttering to himself, "Trevor can wait...."

Ginny suddenly realized that Neville had just been in the comparment and jolted back to reality as if someone had dropped a bucket of ice cold water onto her. She sat up quickly, causing Draco to fall off of her, having to regain his balance before he hit the floor.
"What was that for, Weasley?" he snapped.
"What do you mean, 'what was that for'?" she half-shouted. "That was Neville! He's probably going to go tell Ron and..." she put her face in her hands and started mumbling something that Draco couldn't hear. "Oh gods," she looked back up at Draco. "Ron is going to kill me."
Draco raised an eyebrow. "What does your brother have to do with this? He wasn't the one snogging me."

Ginny shook her head and gasped as Draco's lips were suddenly attached to her neck. "But, Neville - "
Draco chuckled. "C'mon - he's Neville Longbottom. He won't say anything," he placed a finger to her lips before she could protest. "Stop talking," he said before hungrily attacking her lips with his own.

~*~*~
As Draco's arms caressed her, Ginny felt all worries desert her. Nothing else seemed to matter; her thoughts were concentrated solely on getting the boy before her closer, knowing him more intimately, and letting him know her. Within seconds, she had even forgotten that Neville had entered the compartment, forgotten that Ron was just a few doors down, forgotten that this was Malfoy for Merlin's sake, Malfoy, the son of Lucius Malfoy, unofficial enemy of the entire Weasley clan, forgotten everything but the taste of his skin on her lips, the feel of his hair on her fingertips. The word 'heaven' flitted through her mind as he teased her with tiny kisses along her neck.
And then, in an instant, it was all brought crashing down when she heard a low moan escape his lips. "Ginny."
She couldn't explain why, but hearing her name terrified her. No, not just hearing her name. Hearing him say her name, her given name, and say it with such passion, with such need and desire. That terrified her, and she froze in place, suddenly realizing what she was doing.

"Don't bust a bloody gut, I'm coming!" her brother's voice called from behind the door. Ginny looked behind her, watching for any sign of movement. None. She sighed in relief, her eyes flicking back to the door. He was fussing with it. Ginny groaned, throwing the door open herself. Ron stood wide eyed, his gaze fixed on the sliding door which had been inches away from smacking him on the face.
Ginny threw herself onto her brother, tears flowing down her cheeks like a river. She shuddered, feeling comforted as he awkwardly placed his arms around her. She could tell he was slouching down from her weight, but she didn't care. Just as long as Ron wasn't mad...
"I'm-so-sorry! I-didn't-mean-" Ginny managed to say between sobs. Ron exchanged a confused glance with Harry and Hermione, patting her head. She burried her face in his sweater, shaking with fear.
She wouldn't be able to stand it if he was angry with her. Her family was all she had, and she was certain that if they found out- oh it was too dreadful to even imagine. Ginny removed herself from her brother's embrace, sitting down on a chair. She felt awfully misplaced, but took out a handkerchief, dabbing it at her eyes.
"You don't mind if I stay here with you for the rest of the ride, do you?" she asked, her eyes wide as saucers. She looked so pitiful, she could tell from the way they all looked at her. It wasn't a surprise they didn't refuse.

Ginny spent the rest of the journey systematically avoiding the questioning glances her Brother and his two companions were shooting her. She blew out a sigh of relief when they finally pulled into Hogwarts' Station. Then she realised, her luggage was in the compartment, the compartment where Draco Malfoy had decided to have a nasty habit of popping up in recently. She bit her lip unsure of what to do. Resolutley she stood up,
"I'm going to get my stuff." She annouced. Hermione, Harry and Ron scrambled to their feet.
"Well our trunks are there too." Harry pointed out with a grin. Ginny nodded and swallowing she wrenched open the door. Not stopping to glance into any other compartments, she charged down the train and into the carriage. It was empty. She grasped her bag, and lugged it out to a door just as the train pulled to a halt. Tugging the heavy suitcase along the platform Ginny glanced around for which carriage Ron had got into. She couldn't spot him, instead her gaze caught Neville bundling into an empty one looking terrified, a flash of blonde followed him. Cursing silently Ginny sprinted towards the carriage. She couldn't let Neville get into any trouble, seeing as she was partly to blame. She left her bag and jumped deftly into the seat just before the door slammed and the carriage began to trundle its way up to the castle.

"Hello, Neville," she greeted the trembling boy cheerfully, avoiding eye contact with Malfoy.
"H-hi, Ginny," he stammered, glancing nervously at the boy seated across from him.
Ginny, determined to ignore Malfoy, continued. "Have a nice summer?"
"I-it was fine," came the response, though Neville still glanced at Malfoy.
"Same here," Ginny said. "Do anything exciting?"
"You know it's a bad sign when you can't even keep Neville's attention," Malfoy drawled. "I mean, we know you're no beauty when compared to me, but knowing that he'd rather look at me than talk to you, well that's just a little pathetic, don't you agree, Weasley?"
Ginny felt her face grow hot in anger. "You didn't seem to think that way an hour ago!"
"N-no, you seemed quite pleased with her." It seemed Neville had finally found his voice.
"Neville, just be quiet. Please," Ginny said quietly, her eyes begging him to stay out of their quarrel. Her voice, however, was drowned out by Malfoy's snide response.
"What would you know about it, squib?" he questioned, throwing the last word out as a dirty insult.
"I-I'm worth twelve of you," Neville managed to stutter out, recalling his friends' words from their first year.
"Like hell you are," Malfoy retorted.
"Don't talk to him that way!" Ginny reprimanded angrily. "He can at least treat people with some decency!"
"You didn't seem to care an hour ago," Malfoy responded, sounding eerily like Ginny had just moments before.
"I don't want to talk to you about this anymore," she said, turning to stare out the window as they rode past the lake.
"Fine," he said. "But we'll continue this later."
"Oh we will, will we?" she challenged.
"Yes," he responsed emphatically. "At 11:30 tonight, in the Charms corridor, as a matter of fact."
Ginny bristled at his tone of voice. What right had he to tell her what to do? "What makes you think I'll actually show up?"
He stared her right in the eyes for almost a full minute before responding in a low voice. "You will. You won't be able to stay away."
Ginny flushed, and quickly tore her eyes away from him, looking back out the window just as the castle came into view. She tensed up involuntarily when she heard his voice again, but relaxed when she realized the words were directed towards Neville. "And you won't tell anyone, will you Longbottom?"
"Meep," came the only response.

Hey guys, I've been away for a while and the RR looks good! Really coming together! Don't abandon this baby alright! I haven't written for awhile so my writing style has plonked horrendously. Forgive me.
-----------------------------------
After that little interlude, a stifling silence fell upon them.
Neville, desperately trying to ignore Ginny and Draco was holding on to his frequently lost toad, Trevor in his hands firmly and looking at his scuffed shoes with much interest. While Ginny was trying as hard as possible to ignore Draco staring at her by looking out the window, but she couldn't help feel self conscious as she felt his eyes rove around her body and a faint blush crossed her cheeks.
Fidgeting in her sit she finally turned to look at Draco and felt annoyed by the self satisfied smirk that was sitting on his lips. "Stop that!"
His eyebrow raised and he licked his lips, making Ginny, look away, as images of their kiss flashed in her mind.
"Stop what?"
Ginny crossed her arms and frowned at him, "Stop staring, didn't your mother tell you that it's rude to do so?" She turned her head and looked at Neville who was doing some deep breathing, still looking at his shoes.
"My mother also told me that Weasley's were mere parasites, but I don't think that's exactly right...is it?"
he replied smoothly.
Ginny couldn't answer and saw that Neville had turned a bright red and he was holding onto Trevor a little bit too tightly. His breathing getting faster.
She swallowed and Draco leaned in to her, making her face heat up.
"So, I'll see you....tonight."
At that moment the carriages stopped and Ginny's head swiftly turned toward the window and she saw that they were outside Hogwarts. Flinging the carriage door open, she grabbed her trunk and jumped out. Joining the throng of students, leaving Neville, Trevor and Draco to watch her walk away.
The minute she was in the Great Hall, she situated herself infront of the Trio so that her back was facing the Slytherin table, so she wouldn't have to look at him. But all through dinner, she felt his eyes bore into her back, making her most uncomfortable. Neville was spared as he sat himself far down the table, away from Malfoy's stern glances and any Weasley's. She shrank and kept her head bowed so no one would talk to her. She really wasn't in the mood, Hermione though, kept asking her what was wrong because she seemed a little pale but Ginny just shrugged it off, wishing Hermione would stop drawing attention to her and just shut up.
The minute the last golden platter was licked clean Ginny shot up and out of the hall like a bullet and walked briskly toward Gryffindor tower. She had managed to get something good out of Hermione before she left and that was the password. She was about to whisper it, when she felt a pair of arms encircle her waist.
"Tonight Gin. Don't be late."
His husky voice, his warm breath against her ear made her melt and sent tingles up her spine but just as fast as he came (mind out of the gutter...out of the gutter), he had left. She turned around fast enough to see Draco's blonde hair and she couldn't help a smile and savour the feeling that rushed through her veins. Looking up at the Fat Lady who had narrowed her eyes, Ginny whispered the password and walked in once the portrait door opened.

Ginny sat in her four posted bed, curtains closed tightly, a slight glow emitting between the cracks from her lamp. She sighed, flopping down onto her pillows, torn between what she should do. Rolling onto her side, she weighed the possibilities.
"I could snog him senceless, or sit up here alone all night," Ginny mumbled to herself. She closed her eyes, deciding to use a muggle method her father taught her to decide.
"Eeny meany miny mo, catch a tiget by his toes. If he hollers let him go. Eeny meany miny mo!" Ginny sang to herself, her heart fluttering when she found she had chosen to meet Draco.
Now it was only a matter of sneaking out of Gryffindor Tower without anyone knowing.

Ginny shivered and rubbed her arms as she waited in the Charms corridor. She’d forgotten how cold Hogwarts got at night. Tapping her foot impatiently she wondered why she was bothering to wait for the albino Slytherin if he didn’t even have the decency to arrive early.
Ginny sat down on the floor in frustration, crossing her arms while setting her face into a mutinous look. She didn’t even know what time it was now. Closing her eyes she thought back to their kiss. It was fiery that was for sure. His mouth had felt so good on hers and his hands – Ginny blushed at the thought. Suddenly she felt a flutter against her lips, so light she nearly wouldn’t have realized it was there. Opening her eyes she stared into Draco’s amused ones.
“Thinking about our kiss?”
Ginny scowled and turned her head away from his questing mouth. Draco let out an irritated sigh and Ginny tried not shudder at the way his hot breath felt against her face.
“What’s the matter now Weasley?” He asked resignedly.
“You,” she said flatly, “I’m not that easily manipulated Malfoy.”
Draco’s eyes flashed, “Trust me Weasley,” he said huskily leaning down to run his tongue against her ear, “it isn’t only you who’s feeling manipulated.”
Ginny closed her eyes and moaned as his tongue glided down her neck. Her hazy mind barely registered his words.
“I never expected I’d want a Weasley this badly.”
Draco grasped her head and crushed his lips against hers. His tongue grazed her lips gently before plunging into her hot mouth to lash at hers. Ginny gasped and wound her arms around his neck only to be pulled to her feet in a sensual embrace. His hands ran up and down her back before coming to rest on her bottom.
Gods, it was like fire the way eh kissed her. Hungrily he tilted her head back so that he could deepen the kiss even further before sucking on her bottom lip. Gently pulling away, his calloused hands traced her kiss bruised lips as he gazed down at her with desire. Ginny involuntarily shuddered with her own desire that ran through her at the lust that lay in his eyes. Draco took her hand in his before running his hand through her hair.
“Come.”

Well, I suppose I could give it a shot.
-----------------
" W-What?" She was breathless, but had enough common sense to wonder where he would be taking her. Draco dropped her hand and looked at her darkly, blonde hair brushing against his eyes.
" You'll just have to trust me, Ginny." He murmured. She blinked once. Then again, as his soft words registered into her mind.
" Trust you?" She whispered, oh, and the words felt so foreign to her tongue. To trust him. Draco Malfoy.
What a simply preposterous idea.
" Is that so hard to do?" She looked at him, and he was frowning. He crossed his arms and continued to gaze at her piercingly, making her fidget like no one else did.
" Look--" She looked down, putting her head in her hands, massaging her temples. " I haven't a clue what's going on, Malfoy, but surely it can't be right." She looked up at him, eyes wide and fearful.
" Only yesterday, you were the last person on my mind, the last person I would dream of feeling...this desire for. Would you believe me if I said I've never felt this way about anyone before?" His eyes flashed with delight. A small smirk played on his pink lips. But he stayed silent and attentive, and Ginny continued.
" But I feel I shouldn't act on my impulses. They're just that--impulses." She shrugged, looking back at him with eyes that showed vulnerability. " I don't know even know why you kissed me. I just don't know..." Her voice faltered and her words trailed off as her brows furrowed. She looked up at him, searching for an answer, but for quite awhile, he gave none. And nothing was heard except the silence, which somehow sounded louder than anything ever had.
" Because."
His voice was low, and almost a growl. His lips pursed as he looked away. And at this, Ginny sighed in defeat. This was leading absolutely no-where except disaster, because with each passing second, she was more sure of the fact that her knees woud give out, and she would give in to every single fantasy she had ever had about Draco Malfoy--right there in the charms room.
" Draco, that's hardly an answer!" Suddenly, he whirled around, eyes flashing with--
Something. Anger. Yes, that was it. His features were set with anger--but looking at him, she thought she saw a smidgen of lust mixed in with his mercury eyes. Unknown to herself, she was trembling as she stood.
" You want an answer?" He breathed out raggedly. Her eyes widened as he advanced on her, and she only managing to give a small, minute nod.
But it was enough.
And he did answer.
With his lips.
Her last sane thought?
Damn him.
Then, she was in the midst of a whirlpool of kisses, allowing Draco Malfoy lead her to wherever he desired.

He placed sweet, soft kisses along the nape of her neck, his rough hands trailing down her arms. She shivered upon his touch, warm butterflies flitting up her stomach. Her breathing became harder, her movement more liquid as he soothed her with his lips. Ginny let out a soft gasp as his fingers slipped down her arms, onto her stomach, surprised for one reason or another.
"Please..." she began, her chest rising with fear. His fingers moved down to her skirt, his thumb slipping to the inside. She couldn't see anything, but she sure could feel him. The dark room offered nothing, only a soft poof and Draco.
"stop!" she suddenly exclaimed as he was about to put his hands too far. He immeadietly stopped, pulling away.
"What?" he growled. She could feel his eyes narrow into slits.
"I-I just, didn't want you to do anything more than-" Ginny stuttered, looking down at her feet. Draco turned her to him, his finger pulling her chin up towards what she could barely make out to be his face.
She was about to continue, but was silenced by his mouth. She suddenly forgot why she had asked him to stop. His teeth slowly grazed her bottom lip, a sea of emotions flooding her body. She pushed herself closer to him, her arms wrapping around his neck, a need for more of this passion filling her bones.
Hungrily, she kissed him back, stunning even him.

The hours zoomed past in minutes as they kissed. Ginny was completley absorbed in the embrace, wherever Draco's hands touched seemed to set her on fire. His tongue tracing along her bottom lip, her teeth grazing the tip of his tongue. Her mind had stopped functioned ages ago, when the first spattering of kisses had graced her neck, but now the need for oxygen was overpowering. Head spinning she pulled her mouth from his. The couple reeled from the sudden incompleteness. Ginny gulped air for a few seconds, her mind coming back into focus, realisation dawning. She raised her eyes to Draco's. His usually glacial gaze had darkened in passion to two instense pools of slate grey, which simultaenously entranced and scared her. They hypnotised her, tempting her to his lips, his arms, whilst parallely warning her, telling her to run. Feeling a flash of dread in her stomach, Ginny tore her stare away from him, and stumbled backwards. Draco's forehead creased in confusion, his hand snapping out to grasp her arm and steady her.
"Ginny."
The word hit her, bringing the room, the situation into crystal clearness. Wrenching her arm free and swallowing down the icy feeling that had replaced the blissful fluttering butterflys, Ginny bolted from the room.

Sorry guys but I had to get them out of that room before it got anymore steamy!! Phew! Maybe this will add a bit of angst for whoever was asking for it.

Ginny ran. Heart beating wildly and muscles were pulsing, she finally lost sight of the flustered and confused Draco, who had tried to follow her in his state of undress. When she reached the portrait at Gryffindor tower she crashed against the wall, panting and shaking. She whispered the password between shallow breaths and ran to her room, throwing herself onto her bed.
Ginny's mind raced. What had she done?

Cry, little girl cry, Tom's words rang in her head. They wouldn't leave her, not his harsh voice, not his firm hands digging bruises into her shoulders when she was young. She felt them, his fingers pressing guilt and the sence of lonliness into her again. She couldn't stop, the tears just kept flowing. She shook with every breath she drew in. Ginny didn't want to stop. If she could cry the entire day away, she would. She would cry forever just to regain her sense and her place in her family. She was ashamed, and feared above all that she would be disowned. Ginny delved her face farther into the pillow, hoping it would muffle her sobs. At least there's no one in the room she thought thankfully. Ginny didn't know if she was able to face anyone yet.
There was a soft knock on the door. "Gin?" It was Ron.
Cool Like Ice
Jun 7 2003, 04:43 PM
Ginny didn't want to answer the door, yet she knew that she had too. If she didn't Ron would think something was wrong, and tell someone, and then...She didn't want to have to tell them what had happened. They would give her a truth potion, she would be forced to tell the truth, they would know, they would know, they would know.
Ron rapped on the door again, this time louder. "Ginny, are you alright?" He called.
Ginny took a deep breath, sat up, and answered back. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine. Just writing to Mum, telling her about our first day back," lied Ginny, hoping it would get rid of Ron.
"Okay, Gin, let me know if you need anything, okay?"
"Yeah, I will." Ginny heard Ron walk away, and she fell back down oon her pillow, and immediatly fell back asleep.

"...worried about Gin. She was acting awfully strange last night, wouldn't talk at all and --"
"Calm down, Ron," said Hermione, forking her fried egg. "I'm sure she's fine, she'll be here in a minute most likely."
Harry nodded. "Yeah, c'mon, eat something. She's okay. Probably just couldn't find something."
But Ron's gaze was fixed on the quiet figure entering the room. Above the normal clatter of the Great Hall he could hear her feet making taps on the cold floor.
It was Ginny. Quietly, clutching her books tightly, a thin pale figure robed in black, she made her way to the table and sat down near the foot of the table. Ron, relieved, was too busy chatting with Lavender and Harry and Hermione were laughing with each other, too occupied to notice that Ginny was staring very hard into her toast and wasn't saying anything.
After breakfast ended, Ginny slowly got up to leave. Hermione caught her in a corner.
"Ginny. Is everything - is everything okay?"
Slowly, involuntarily, Ginny dropped her books and slid down against the wall.
Quietly, almost in a whisper, she spoke.
"No. No, it's not."

Hermione Granger's face grew pale.
But then again, so was Ginny's. And neither of them bothered picking up the forgotten books that lay on the floor.
" Ginny--"
" I'm lost, Hermione." She whispered. Her brown eyes stared at nothing and were blank--they showed only distress, and for the life of her, she couldn't understand why.
" What?" But Ginny's attentioned diverted quickly.
There was a gray-eyed figure that stood not far from them, and Ginny only bit her lip in response.
" I--I have to go."
She quickly disappeared into one of the many corridors of the school, leaving Hermione, the great know-it-all, dumbfounded.
And when she looked behind her, a small gasp emitted from her lips as she saw Draco Malfoy looking at her broodingly.
" I'll take these." He murmured. Bending down, he collected Ginny's books.
And he too disappeared.
There was something odd going on.
-----------------------------------------------
" You can't run from me."
She didn't have to turn around to know who it was. But then again, maybe she was expecting him to come.
" I'm not trying to." Her voice wasn't convincing. He knew it.
" Liar." Closing in on where she stood, she backed up against the wall, and his arms snaked around either side of her, caging her in.
" You're avoiding me because you're scared of what I might do to you." Facing him with difficulty, her face contorted into a glare.
" Give me one reason why I shouldn't be scared, Malfoy." She spat, voice cracking as she said this. She watched as his thin lips curled up into a sinister smile.
" I can't." He said loudly. " Because you have every reason to be scared of what I could do to you." Ginny turned her head, refusing to face him any longer.
Please, just let me go...
" Look at me." He commanded. She obliged, tears threatening to pour.
His placed his lips on hers and she was falling again, into a place where she could think no longer. All she could feel were the exhilarating shocks of electricity, and the feel of his suddenly soft lips melting into hers.
She could smell his cologne and it was intoxicating her, and she could taste him as his tongue pushed through her lips, growing more passionate by the moment.
And her hands were lost in his hair as she kissed him back just as fervently.
His hands toyed at the buttons of her blouse, and she was whimpering and panting because she wanted him so badly. She squirmed beneath him and god, how she loved every single second of it.
Loved all of it.
Moving away from her lips, he placed kisses along her jaw, his chest heaving up and down. Looking at her through hooded eyes, he pushed back strands of his hair.
" Can you stay away, Ginny?" He asked haughtily. When Ginny did not answer, save her heavy breahts, he laughed a cruel, mirthless laugh.
" You can't." He muttered.
And she couldn't. Because every single time he was near her, he left her helpless to her own actions.
Because she wanted him, even though she shouldn't.
Because she was stupid like that.
Face down, her hair covering her face, she picked up her textbooks and walked away from him without a word.
He didn't see the tears that ran from her eyes.
For she cried silently.

"Draco!" A squealing voice yelped from behind him. He didn't turn. Moments later there was an insistent clawing on the sleeves of his robes and he spun angrily and glowered at Pansy Parkinson.
"Draco!" She repeated, "Whats going on? Where were you on the train? Why have you been ignoring me?" She screeched the line of questions apparently oblivous, or undettered by the thunderous look on his face. He didn't reply. This made Pansy livid.
"What the hell is your problem?!" She yelled irritably, her cheeks flushed as he wrenched his arm from her grip.
"You." He spat, turning on his heel and stalking away from her, blocking out the sounds of her bawling.

Ginny had ran down endless corridors twisting and turning not caring where she was going as long as it was far away from him. After a while she paused gasping for breath and rubbing away the streams of tears that were still pouring down her face. She glanced to her left at a door, tentativley she pushed it open and stepped into the room.
It was small and cosy, decorated in dark wood pannelling with a sofa and fire complete with a grate and poker. Ginny drew a shaky breath and settled onto the sofa, not caring who might catch her. She was undisturbed for a long time. Alone, with time to contemplate the situation her mood had changed. The earlier desperate sadness and confusion had morphed into acceptance and intrigue. She had never felt emotions as strong as the ones Draco managed to spark within her. She owed it to herself to explore the electricity which fizzled between them. It was her and him. Family didn't come into it, she decided.

Ginny woke a few hours later and raised her hand to rub at her eyes. Her fingers caught on the sticky tracks the tears she had shed earlier had left on her cheeks. She sighed and stood up, looking around the room. She picked up her wand from the floor near the sofa and left, shutting the door quietly behind her.
She walked into the hall near the Gryffindor Tower entrance and almost ran smack into Colin.
"Ginny!" he said, putting his hands on her shoulders to steady her. "I've been looking all over for you."
She furrowed her eyebrows. "Why?"
Colin's eyes lit up. "Malfoy was talking about you to Hermione, Harry, and Ron. They had been asking if he'd seen you, and he started saying all these nasty things." He paused to catch his breath. He grinned. "Hermione...turned him into a ferret."
"A ferret?" Ginny couldn't help but smile a little. "How the hell did she manage that?"
Colin shrugged. "I have no idea. They're all up at Dumbledore's office now though. Do you think Hermione will be expelled?"
"No, they did it out of my defense. Besides, Harry's done worse and he's still here."
"But he's Harry."
Ginny glared at him. "That's right, he's Harry, a human being, Colin."
Colin visibly backed down. "Right. Well, I'll just go back to the common room." C
Ginny nodded. "You do that. I'll catch up with you later." Colin walked off, back towards the common room. Ginny waited until he'd gone inside before she started towards Dumbledore's office, sitting down by the gargoyle, waiting for them to come out.
What had Draco said about her?

Ginny's heart was beating frantically in anticipation. She was waiting for someone to come out of Dumbledore's office, but it had been a good hour already and she heard no sounds of them budging.
Giving up, she sat up, brushing off small pebbles and tuffs of dirt off od her robes. She began to walk away, but stopped abruptly as she saw the opening to Dumbledore's office open. She whipped around to see who it was.
"Draco," she breathed, her cinnamon eyes growing wide.

“Move out the way Weasley.”
Ginny stumbled as Draco pushed her roughly and she stared open-mouthed after him as he strode down the hall, his robes flying behind him. Turning towards the gargoyle she watched as a Harry and Ron came out laughing while Hermione looked torn between being upset and amused.
“W-what happened?”
“What are you doing on the floor Ginny?” Ron pulled Ginny to her feet and looked at her questioningly.
“Malfoy pushed me,” she muttered. “What happened?”
“HE WHAT!”
“Just tell me Ron!”
Ron reddened and Ginny wondered if he was even breathing. “Harry? Hermione?”
The other two avoided her gaze and Ginny felt her temper rising rapidly.
“What did Malfoy say about me!”
“I said you were a nice piece of pus-”
Draco was hurled backward as Ron tackled him to the ground with a roar.
“Ron NO!” Hermione grabbed at Ron frantically as Harry tried to wrench the boys grip off Draco’s throat.
“Ron you’re going to get even more detention,” Hermione cried desperately. Ginny watched impassively as Ron was pulled away from Draco who was coughing and rubbing his throat. Draco bent over coughing violently his face red.
“Malfoy.”
Draco looked up with a ferocious glare and just as quickly his head flung to the side as a resounding crack echoed off the halls.
Rubbing her fist, Ginny stood from her crouched position over Draco and walked down the hall without a backward glance, her back rigid and her emotions on overload. Harry, Ron and Hermione watched her go with their mouths open in silent O’s. Glancing back at Draco in disgust they watched as he sat with his hand over his jaw staring after Ginny in shock and cold fury.
And to think he had come back to apologize.

Her quill was skimming across passages of her writing, every now and then dipping down and scratching out a word or line. Her face was screwed up in furious concentration, not letting her mind wander any further than the complex remedy ingrediants and method in front of her meant Ginny didn't have to contemplate her earlier actions or the phrase that had catalysed them.
A few feet away, hidden by a towering bookcase Draco stood watching, his whole body was smarting from his recent bout of 'Potter and Weasley cruelty to ferrets' and there was a intense ache in the left side of his face. His eyes narrowed as Ginny's red curls tumbled over her shoulder onto the desk, and one ringlet dipped into her ink pot, soaking up the midnight blue liquid. His stomach had been boiling with a mixture of anger, amusment and well, admiration. The youngest Weasley could pack a punch that was at least as painful as her brothers, he mused his hand cupping his swollen jaw. He shot a look around him, the library was deserted. He emerged from the bookcase and strode resolutley towards her table.
Ginny heard the firm footsteps and knew it was him. She didn't look up.
"Virginia."
A spark of indignation bubbled in Ginny amid the pure anger she was feeling, she resented his use of her full name which noone used to address except her parents when they were particually furious with her. Reluctantly she looked up, her brown eyes flashed dangerously as they met his cool, slate grey stare.
"Yes?" She demanded keeping her voice quiet and even.
